We went into the office and talked to Bridget. She was arguing with us the whole time and she couldn't even figure out why we had late fees or why one invoice was different from the other. The paper work does not make any sense at all and my contract states 1st late fee is $0 (which I signed the contract) she tried to cross it off right infront of me and tried to change the contract that I signed with a pen! ha really? This place is horrible! Do not go here! I am still waiting for a return call and it's been a month now. We tried contacting the regional manager and he is nowhere to be found, we tried calling the office and arent able to get any information from the Managers. They are not willing to work with you and nobody knows what is going on with our invoices. All we keep getting is notices stating our storage is going to Auction but nobody has figured out our invoices. Do not go here even if you get 20% off to write a yelp review, do not do it! It's just bribery. I have never been through so much stress. I was also in Washington for a month for Christmas and they would not take a credit card or a mailed check. A legal friend of mine mentioned the Managers get commision off our late fees. I'm sure this is why they would not take my payment and they will not resolve my invoices. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE PLACE!!!!! We had THOUSANDS of dollars worth of belongings stolen out of our unit! The walls of the unit had been broken and fingerprints were clearly seen in places where people had climbed over and thru these broken walls. Most likely one of the homeless people living in units on the property, that the managers do not deter, is the culprit of our stolen things. When we filed a police report the officer told us that a police officer is there about once a week dealing with some sort of issue. The management was absolutely zero help and actually quite rude during a time where we felt so violated. The person on sight the day we discovered this, Martha, would not give us any information about her supervisors who we could contact, and to be honest, seemed like she was so high on drugs, that she could barely comprehend what was happening. We were told the manager of the facility would contact us the following day, we actually came to the sight to get our remaining items the next day, and the manager happened to be there and she did not come speak to us and did not call us at any point to discuss what had happened at her business with us, her paying customers. Never have I been so disappointed in a business, especially one where trust is placed in those who run it. read more

i do not recommend anyone using this place, my wife just got off the phone with them after trying to make a payment over the phone. i guess they had a deal for the first 4 months charging us $158/month but after that the monthly fee raised up to $208. that part i could care less about, i did not know since i was not there but I'm sure its legitimate but the frustrating part is that they are charging us late fees when our check made it in by the deadline( the 9th of every month). the reason why they re charging us late fees is because they didn't go get the mail til the 11th. and the guy admittedly tells my wife this over the phone. The worst part is when my wife is baffled by these late fees the guy tells her he'll take $20 off the late fees if we go on yelp and write a good review. so here we are writing a good review. no sir you cannot use bribery to get good reviews on yelp. you now have more than enough horrible reviews for people to see that you do not know how to treat your customer right or run your business professionally his name is Freddie, so please give him a ring and ask him if you can write him a good review so you can save $20 measly dollars read more

I rented a unit June 9, and put my stuff in it, and called the next day to give advanced notice that I would not need it more than I month. The lady told me to be out by the 8th of July. When I showed up on the 8th of July, my gate pass code would not open the gate. I managed to get someone to open it for me, but when I got to my unit I found it locked with another lock. Not Mine. I left and called back in later..where I explained to John the manager what had happened...he said he would look into it, and call back. He called back after a while and told me that I had moved my stuff out and he has a move out notice to prove it dated the 13th of June. After repeatedly telling him that I had not moved out, and did not authorize anyone else to move my stuff out. John would not accept any responsibility for my things and claimed He did not owe me any money back since he rented my unit to someone else. Bottom line...I'm out an expensive piece of furniture, and a half a months rent. The people at this facility stole my stuff. I won't give them a single star...nor recommend anyone use them.. read more

Future renters PLEASE read and take a look at my pics. It may be a little long but it is important you read not only my comments but other past renters as well. Here are some facts about rodents. Rodents are scavengers and it's their job to find 1. food 2. shelter Rodents are also curious animals, exploring and examining their environment to find shelter and food. Because they don't have exceptional eyesight, they rely on their senses of smell, touch and taste to explore. They obviously found shelter in my unit because I did not have food. If they did find food it must of been from some other unit since there are openings that connect to other units close to mine. What is great about this storage facility is NOT that it's Fancy Shmancy and has all sorts of fluff! This is where you're storing your knick knacks people! Not going on vacation!!! The name of the game is "Saving $$$" I love that they give me a courtesy call to pay my bill before I get a late fee. If you're like me, you probably have way too many bills to remember all the different dates they are due and work really hard for your money to just throw it away on stupid late fees. So irritating! It is so nice that they help me out with that. What is also very cool, is that they give me the opportunity to get discounts on my bill every month. Ask them how! So, if you take advantage of these discounts, you can save money to spend on bigger and better things. read more

The people that manage the facility are super nice and helpful and are always there to help you with what you need (during business hours of course), and pleasant and energetic. What a difference compared to some of the super lazy people i have had in the past at storage places. The other thing i like is they have a wide variety of types of storage units and locations, as i needed one that was in a cooler place because Escondido can get pretty hot. DON"T RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! THEY ARE A RIP-OFF!!!!! The woman quoted one price on the tour, then jacked it up on the contract. When I caught it, she played dumb and said 'Sorry'.....but refused to honor the quoted price. Totally dishonest. I should have walked then, but I went ahead and rented the space. I've had my stuff in storage here for over a year, Bridget is so kind and helpful... im always losing my keys, or forgetting my key pad combo and they always smile and help me. Ive never had a problem here... Its safe, its clean, ive personally never seen any pests or pest droppings... Its a great place to keep stuff... ;) and you don't have to have that Bader Ins.... This facility is great. The staff is helpful and kind and take the time to work with your situation, whatever it may be. The storage units are dry and have good security. The staff checks the locks and replace them if they are not secure. Been here for 2 months. The staff is very friendly and helpful, having to walk with a cane, Fred and Bridget have always made me feel welcome and help when needed. The unit is great, I keep a lot of personal and breakable things there and I have had no problems, where as other places I've been to have had water, mold and even bug problems.
