I have been using the storage facility for over a year now and I am very happy with the staff, service and facility. The staff is very helpful and someone always answers the phones and calls you back when they say they will, which doesnt happen as often as it should. The facility is very clean and has pest control which is ideal since you do not want to go to your unit and find your stuff all destroyed. These guys are just fantastic. My wife and I have a storage unit with them and we have made all kinds of unusual requests, such as wanting to move out half way through a billing cycle, and then canceling our move-out at the last minute because we realized that we still need the storage unit. Very clean. Very secure. Helpful & courteous staff. If you live in Daly City, Brisbane, SSF or SF, this is the BEST place to store your belongings. They've got a coded security gate, alarms on all the units, video surveillance, and live-in managers who keep a watch over the whole facility. It's easily accessible plus you just can't beat the view! Security Public Storage is up near the top of the hill, set back like a fortress. What a treat to discover Guadalupe Canyon Parkway at the top of the hill which drops you down to 101 or 280. Didn't even know this road existed, but it's a beautiful drive and takes you to San Bruno Mtn. state park. read more

Everybody here is so amazing. I was Sooooo stressed about all of my moves, and they made it super easy for me! In the past 5 years, I've done 3 cross-country moves and about 3 more mini moves in between those. I'm an OCD person who likes to stay organized and know where all my stuff is, if its safe, etc. I liked that they have AC units too so if you have makeup or clothes, accessories, etc or other things that can go bad in the heat ...AC units are great. From start to finish they were easy to deal with, friendly, and organized . I was so stressed when I first showed up and they helped me figure out a lot of things. Gave me contact info for multiple movers, trucks etc. They let you use those trolly things to help move lots of boxes. I was using this facility for a year and have no complaints. Just an FYI though...they do NOT allow Pods (the ones with no wheels. For if you want to pack n move long distance) to be parked on their property for liability reasons. Not a huge deal though. Other than that, awesome. Will use again for future moves for sure. Also I thought for how secure and well-managed this place is, I thought the price was fair. read more

It became ridiculous how many things my family and I had stored in my garage and about 6 years I go I decided to clear it all out and finally get a storage room. The space I sure could appreciate at home since these items were things I didn't need but couldn't part from as well as odds and ends that I occasionally used. This storage facility let me use their move in truck! I still have a storage room here and its very convenient to quickly go in and grab a few items or drop anything off. everyone has been very helpful over the years. I love the fact that a husband and wife duo run the facility and live at the site. It has a mom n pop storage place feel. Plus, it was easy to register. They showed us around, explained the contract, and I packed all my stuff, all within one hour. The facility is climate controlled and clean. My husband and I are traveling the world and had to find an affordable place to store all our stuff. This is a nerve wracking decision. We wanted a place that was secure, and clean, not too far from San Francisco, and not a million dollars. We checked out Southpoint Self Storage first, and Denise helped us. She was perfect. She took us around the property and showed us many different storage units {sizes, price, and floors} The place is a total maze, but Denise was all over it with a chart in hand. After she gave us the rundown we left to check and compare other storage unit prices. Southpoint has the best rates anywhere near the city, its totally secure with a gate and personal code just to get in the place, then the mega lock they have for sale for the door, and surveillance cameras. We couldn't pass this place up. On top of the fact that Denise was laid back and cool, and not pushy at all. We went back the next day and began packing our life away. read more

The staff at SPS have been nothing but incredible. As friendly of a group as you could find. Honestly, you may feel like you're stepping into a 5 star hotel with how hospitable Trevor and Liz will treat you. With a few easy steps, I had myself a storage unit. And was immediately taken on a tour of the facility. As I first entered the doors on my first day, I felt as though my stuff would be safe. I was blown away at the cleanliness of the entire place. From bathrooms to hallways to my very own unit, it was spotless. And this is coming from a guy who has been to many storage facility whether to help someone move in or out, or just to store my own things. They've more than exceeded my expectations of a storage facility. I mean truly. I've recommended them to multiple other friends and at least one family member. Once I even spoke to a gentleman who housed some pretty old art canvases in his unit. He explained how the humidity and temp control of the place has kept all his pieces in excellent quality for the past few years! He even showed me a photo on his phone of another place he used to have his art and how within a month 3 princes had been ruined at that location. I know not about keeping art, but I can say that if your looking to keep things safe, secure, and damage free SPS is the place for you! Don't believe me? Call or go there yourself. Complete line of packing items to make things easier on you....and less complicated! Really saved us time! In between SF and Daly City, so great location. They even provide a truck (U haul type moving truck) you can use to help transport your items. I first found out about this place from my sister who also received a really good recommendation for professional movers that moved her house in just a few hours! I've had up to three storage lockers here at one time. The people who work here seem very efficient and kind. The place is always clean. They even keep the landscaping nice with flower beds replaced each season. It seems very safe. I've never experienced any problems or felt afraid at all. I just have one locker now - on their basement level. That feels extra secure because that whole level is temperature and humidity controlled. The rate I pay for my one unit is great, although I've had it for four or five years now. I have no idea what they are charging new customers. Definitely price these guys if you are searching for a new storage locker facility. If you choose to store here, I believe you will feel, as I do, that my stuff is being kept in a very safe place, overseen by people that I trust! read more
