LiveWire in Richmond Virginia is not just the type of company that you want to consider for your…read morehome theater needs, but the type of company that we would all like to work with. The difference is their people which start from the top down with Henry Clifford (henry@getlivewire.com) and one of the key people who have joined him, JD Dessofy. It goes beyond prices and service. They care about you beyond what you would expect. Many companies talk about exceptional customer service - LiveWire lives it. Early in 2014, we signed a contract with Theatre Extreme in Richmond, VA to install a home theater in our new home in Chesterfield. We provided funds to Theatre Extreme as per our contract presumably to purchase the materials and prepare for the installation. As we approached the installation time, we stopped by their store front in Short Pump, and found an empty store with a note on the door that they had gone bankrupt and were out of business. We were devastated. One of their former employees, JD, went above and beyond to find some equipment to help to start the installation. We contacted Henry ad LiveWire, and in his compassion and good businesss sense, he and JD worked with us, many times taking no profit whatsoever, in order to help us complete the project. It's comforting when you deal with businesses who keep their word and do what they say. It's rare when you see these companies go above and beyond. It's truly unbelievable to find a company who will put their own interests aside and work passionately to develop a solution to a problem which they did create nor for which they had any responsibility. It's hard to say enough good things about Henry Clifford and JD Dessofy. They are exceptionally good at what they do and even better people. David DeGonia Chesterfield, Virginia

Sound and Image is innovative, priced competitively and (most important) reliable. Actually, technically adept and creative might be most important. They are both these things as well. We've worked with Sound and Image for about 10 years now. In two old (early 1900s) homes. We consulted with several A/V providers for our new house in Hallsley, and Moseley was not only the easiest to work with, but they provided a package that was equal in quality, yet well below the price of the alternative suppliers. And their after sale service has been great too. Highly recommended!!!

PUBLIC REVIEW -- Audio Exchange (Richmond, VA) A factual…read moreaccount of my experience from July 2024 through September 2026 My experience with Audio Exchange on West Broad Street in Richmond, VA has been consistently disappointing, unprofessional, and costly. From my first visit in July through today, the business has demonstrated poor communication, disregard for my property, and a complete failure to resolve issues they directly caused. Installation Negligence Resulting in Property Damage During an installation visit, an Audio Exchange technician left my FOX access panel open, creating a direct entry point for rodents into my utility closet. This led to contamination of the area, including fecal debris, seed hulls, and damage to personal property stored inside. Despite notifying Audio Exchange promptly and clearly, management failed to respond, failed to take responsibility, and failed to send anyone to correct the issue. Their inaction forced me to hire a licensed pest‑control company to clean and sanitize the contaminated area. I paid $250 out of pocket for a problem caused entirely by their negligence. Poor Communication & Lack of Follow‑Through Throughout this process, Audio Exchange repeatedly failed to: Return calls or follow up as promised Address installation issues they acknowledged Schedule completion of the work Retrieve their own loaner equipment Provide any corrective action or apology Their communication has been inconsistent at best and nonexistent at worst. Even after multiple attempts to resolve matters professionally, Audio Exchange left me with unfinished work and additional expenses. Disregard for Customer Property & Safety Leaving an access panel open is not a minor oversight -- it created a health hazard inside my home. Rodent intrusion is a serious issue, and Audio Exchange's refusal to respond after being notified shows a troubling disregard for customer safety and property. Summary I have tried repeatedly to resolve this situation directly with Audio Exchange. Their continued lack of response, failure to complete the installation, and refusal to take responsibility for the contamination caused by their technician has left me with: Unfinished installation work A rodent intrusion caused by their negligence A $250 cleanup bill Contaminated personal property Weeks of ignored communication I am sharing this factual account so that other customers understand the risks of doing business with Audio Exchange.

I told him that if he needed help to mount the TVs once he placed the mounts on the wall to give me a shout. I went downstairs, and barely heard him working. He worked so quietly that my nervous pup didn't even bark or get anxious. Marcus worked fast, told me he was done, and he had the TVs mounted on the wall. The swing arm mount is perfectly placed and moves smoothly. It is just what I envisioned and hoped for and no mess. Marcus gave us the different payment options, price was as quoted with no changes. Marcus told us to call if any issues. I highly recommend Marcus & TV Geeks !!!
