Highly recommend!

Bottom Line: You won't need a security system, you will have already been robbed…read more If you are planning to have a security system installed, please think twice before using Lake Anna Security. I went to them thinking I would support a local business, which I always try to do. What I didn't realize is that they would take me to the cleaners and install very basic equipment while charging me for gold and platinum level equipment. For instance, after they installed a complete home security system, including two cameras, I thought to myself that the equipment looked somewhat 'cheap' compared to other systems I had seen. So I went through the list of everything they installed and went to Amazon and other retailers to see just how much would it cost me to but the equipment myself - and the grand total was a little less than $1500. But I, in the end, had paid more than 3 times that, so I guess the installation, which took a day, cost thousands of dollars. That doesn't take into account dealer prices or anything else, so I'm sure the actual difference was even more than that. Every business needs to make a profit - I understand that. Now, if the equipment was first rate, I probably wouldn't be so upset. But at every turn, the equipment was not what we discussed or it doesn't meet my needs, which should have been addressed, based on their expertise after we discussed what I was trying to accomplish. Instead, even the installation was faulty resulting in an outbuilding not being secured a month after being installed.

From start to finish, I can't tell you how impressed I was with Larry and Comfort Control. I got…read moreestimates from other companies but Comfort Control was the most professional, hands down. The whole process was seamless and we could not be happier with our new HVAC system. Larry's team went out of their way to get our new system in even before our agreed installation date and they made small subtle suggestions and changes (raised pad, reconfiguration on attic unit for better air flow, and additional air intake) that other companies didn't even consider. It was nice to see dedication and standard for excellence. I highly recommend Comfort Control and would hope that before you go for the larger and flashier companies, you give them a call.

I followed the truck about a mile as I was heading the same way, but then it turned around and apparently went to my house (I kept going the other way but the house had a lockbox so the guy let himself in - I didn't even need to be there). An hour later the place is fixed and I get a very reasonable bill in the mail a few days later. After that stellar experience I used the company 2 more separate times and found them to be quick and reasonable. I fear that as more people find out about them they will raise their prices or something (isn't that how it always goes) but I'm nonetheless willing to spread the word. So, a big thumbs up from me.

The house was neglected for 10+ years so many repairs were needed. This was my first time working with a contractor and Shane made it easy for me to understand, work with him, laid out pricing for me, and worked within my budget. His work is top notch, from refinishing hard wood, painting, fixing ceilings, holes in the walls, and so much more. The projects took longer than expected (due to unforeseen issues with the house) and Shane stayed up all night working on the house to get it ready to go for our deadline.
