I called them and two other companies. I got all three estimates and made a decision. I decided to go with all jersey so I called back. I was then told a mistake was made and my moving day was on a peak week making it over $100 more. Now where I come from when a business quotes a price there is no take backs. I didn't add or ask for anything more so that initial price should be honored since the mistake was made on their end. No dice. Was basically told to bad we will just book someone else that day we are and busy and shit. So pissy I went to my second choice. They had booked my day by then. No all jersey had me over a barrel. I ate the extra money. Moving day arrived and the guys showed up on time. They straight killed it. Well oiled machine. Wes was the lead guy and he managed the pack and move like a pro. They we so polite and worked so hard. They were jammin the power 1075 and they just made the day fun. We were all helping and laughing... No part of our moving day sucked. I would use them again in a heart beat.

But this company made my experience so smooth and wonderful. First off, the booking process was seamless. On the day of the move, the three movers and truck came earlier than expected, which was great. They started bringing my things down almost instantly, and even packed up some of my clothes and leftover items with their boxes. Overall, they handled everything, especially the fragile items, with such care and attentiveness. They even offered to reassemble some of the furniture that they had to break down to fit into their truck. They also finished in record time, before the time frame they initially blocked out. It might've been because I was only making a local move, but the whole process was so quick and was finished within a little over an hour. I would definitely use this company and their services again if I ever needed to make another move in and around NJ!

As my family and I were moving my items from their unit warehouse to our own truck we rented because the owner was going to charge us too much money for his employees to do it, EVERY BOX or piece we moved had broken, missing or damaged sections/items. the owner watched us as we took each box literally blaming us because we "touched it". the owner of this company is FOUL and nothing I owned was packed with care. I'm now finally unpacking, and I have THOUSANDS of dollars of damaged and missing items. I will one hundred percent be reporting them to the BBB and I hope they get stripped of all of their awards. I moved into Public Storage in April 2025, and from day one it was a bad experience. When I first…read moremoved in, I noticed a hole on the outside of my unit and asked them to fix it so vermin couldn't get inside. Months went by, and despite multiple follow-ups, the repair was never completed. Each time I checked back, I was told a work order was in, or that a contractor hadn't shown up, or that they needed one of my keys to get inside. Still, nothing was done. After nearly five months of waiting, I finally asked the manager to either fix it immediately or move me to another unit. The manager agreed, but when I went to the office, I was told I would have to pay to move my things to a different unit. I refused--why should I pay when the only reason I needed to move was because they never fixed the original unit? They suggested I pay upfront and then "request a credit" on my next bill, which made no sense. At that point, I decided to move my belongings out entirely. The only part of this process that went smoothly was moving out. Bernice, the staff member who helped me, was polite and understanding, but even she acknowledged why I was frustrated. To make matters worse, the unit itself was dirty from the beginning--covered in spider webs, bugs, and just generally unpleasant. This was my first time using outdoor storage, and I will never use Public Storage again. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and terrible customer service made this a stressful and disappointing experience. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for storage.

My daughter and I were completely exhausted from packing and everything that comes with moving, and these guys truly came in and took over. They knew exactly what they were doing, worked incredibly fast, and handled everything with so much care and respect. Ryan was extremely focused and knowledgeable. He was great at putting my furniture back together and honestly had an amazing memory. He remembered where things went and even helped us figure out a great layout in the new place when my daughter and I were too tired to even think anymore. Ryan and Cesar also went above and beyond to help me with one of my cabinets. It was something they really didn't have to spend extra time helping me with, but they did, and I appreciated it so much. That extra effort really showed me how much they cared about making sure I was happy and everything was taken care of. Cesar was such a pleasure to have around. He literally smiled the ENTIRE time! He was so happy, kind, and positive, and I absolutely loved his spirit and energy. No matter what they were carrying or how much work they had to do, Cesar still had a smile on his face. Nixon was hilarious! He was very talkative, friendly, and made us feel so comfortable throughout the move. Since he lives close to the area we moved to, he even gave my daughter and me suggestions for restaurants and places to check out around our new neighborhood, which we really appreciated. It made us feel even more excited about our new area. He kept us laughing and talking, but at the same time, he was TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS! Javier was also incredible. He helped me with packing and worked so hard. At one point, some soil fell out of one of my huge houseplants during the move, and Javier even took the time to sweep it up for me. It may sound like a small thing, but after such a long and exhausting moving day, those little acts of kindness and consideration really stood out to me. And let me tell you, ALL FOUR of these men are MIGHTY! I never want to hear another man complain about lifting something after watching these guys work. My daughter and I were literally amazed at the things they were lifting and how effortlessly they seemed to do it! Not ONCE did any of them complain or even seem tired! That honestly amazed us. They were lifting extremely heavy furniture, going back and forth nonstop, and somehow kept the same great energy from beginning to end. They worked quickly without being careless and never made us feel like they were rushing us. They were strong, fast, respectful, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, they took great care of my belongings. None of my furniture was damaged, and everything was handled with care. Moving is exhausting and stressful, but having the right people helping you makes such a huge difference. I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Ryan, Cesar, Nixon, and Javier made a very long day so much easier for me and my daughter, and I genuinely appreciate every one of them. Paul (owner) and College Hunks Hauling Junk were a horrible experience from start to finish…read more We booked this move two weeks in advance, so it was especially alarming when, the night before our scheduled move, Paul suddenly called me from his personal cellphone and said he had to come to our apartment that night for us to sign a quote, claiming he could not send it via email. This immediately felt odd and unnecessary. He came over late in the evening, which made the situation even more uncomfortable, and he gave off extremely creepy vibes. I do not recommend this company if you are a woman and would be alone with this man in your home. While there, he pushed me toward choosing the cheapest option for him, the one dollar per pound replacement coverage, which barely covers anything if items are damaged. I initially signed a different option, and he told me to cross it out and re sign where he told me to. This was a huge red flag. The next day, we had to sign the same contract again with the actual movers. I still do not understand why Paul needed to come over the night before, especially considering the move had been booked well in advance. It felt unnecessary and unsettling. After evaluating our apartment, Paul selected the truck size himself. He chose one that was too small and then blamed the issue on our street being too narrow, despite previously saying a truck would fit if neighbors moved their cars, which we did. Because of his poor planning, not all of our belongings fit, and we were forced to rent a U Haul on top of everything else. To make matters worse, the movers broke a glass door pane. When I raised the issue, Paul lied and claimed we asked for two hundred dollars off the bill, which is completely false. My only request was to speak with our landlord to coordinate replacement of the broken glass. Overall, this felt like a scheme rather than a professional moving service. Between the unnecessary late night visit, the pressure to sign specific paperwork, the poor planning, and the dishonesty afterward, this experience was stressful and uncomfortable. Buyer beware. P.S. He repeatedly bragged about being on a radio station once and mentioned his dad being a contractor at one point. It was uncomfortable.

I booked a full truckload to be on the safe side. The Hunks who arrived said I'd only be charged for a half truck if that's all I used. What a nice surprise! I did end up using the entire truck, but still. I appreciated their flexibility. They donate meals to hungry families with every job booked, and also donate to organizations who could use furniture. It's not often you find such a conscientious organization. Highly recommend!

The price was fair and Mitch was very helpful during the whole process. The movers that I had, Esau, Thomas, and Shawn were all incredibly friendly and efficient. In fact, they were the same guys my mother had for her move only 7 months prior! These guys got to my original location early and were careful, as well as intelligent, instead of being the stereotypical yes men that I have seen movers be in the past. For 6 hours of work (the travel time to Brooklyn was the biggest part of the move), everything I packed survived the move. They even put my mother's bed back together prior to them leaving for Brooklyn. That was very nice of them. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for future moves, even if it means coming to Brooklyn to do so.
