I also explain the unit I seen the month before is the one I want can she show me a bigger one I told her the price I was " """quoted she literally began to say that can't be true making me feel like I was lieing !She then mentioned she is the only person there. That certainly wasn't the case here. Izzy went so far as to provide pricing breakdown for various options. I feel someone else in her shoes wouldn't have been so helpful and instead redirected me to their website. She took the time to explain everything and we didn't feel rushed or pressured. Extending our unit was never an issue and whenever we spoke to anyone on the phones they were always willing to answer all questions. The only downside is there's only one trolley! For the amount of units, there should be at least 2 per entryway. So I'd recommend getting one of your own, especially if you have a larger unit. It's a good investment and would be handy for future use. Overall I'd recommend this facility.

I've been back with extra space storage for 3 months, paying $89 (and this didn't include all the extra fees they throw on the FIRST BILL) for a STANDARD 10x10, not even on the first floor, just for them to send me a notice saying the unit will be going from my rate to $169 do to competing area prices, when not a SINGLE storage unit for my size goes for this price! When you go on the website, it's even CHEAPER there NOW ($72) ! So you're telling me if i got a storage unit today you're going to change my price next month! Thats a scam! If you were going to do that then you should have said "offering this for 3 months and then pay in full", but it's wasn't. I am inconvenienced and want this rectified.

For some odd reason she had a nasty attitude with me the other day about the "times" I use the facility . I wonder if she does this to others... For someone who has been loyal to Extra Space , pays their bills on time it was disappointing to see such low behavior from an employee . I almost never have to deal with staff as I do everything online and I am going to keep it that way ! It was almost borderline harassment what she was telling me & her nasty tone was very belittling. These are my initial observations. The move has not been been done yet. My first conversation was…read moreby phone with appararently a SALES AGENT. I was quoted a little over $3,000.00 for a move from Melbourne Florida to Glen Burnie MD. Since it was based on a quick observation, I decided to be dilligent, and to provide a video walk through in order to get a more accurate quote. This consisted of 12 area videos with voiceover describing every article of furniture with information regarding what to expect in the way of boxes from that area. I was then quoted close to $9,000.00. This amount seemed reasonable based on the more accurate inventory. Today, we were called by their QUALITY CONTROL AGENT. At this time we went through a detailed inventory which we had taken an enoumous amount of time to create, wrapping things and filling boxes. Despite the fact that RE were sent detailed videos of our inventory. This conversation resulted in an increased moving cost of $15.253.62. The explanation we were informed was as follows: I have never spoken to you before. You have only spoken thus far to a SALES AGENT. We received this information just 3 days before the move, so as a consequence we were given no alternative but to agree with the new price and the demand for an additional $5,000.00 up front Bottom line, which I will make sure everyone is made aware of. When dealing with Relocation Express you will be dealing with a SALES AGENT who will real you in with a lowball price. Then 3 days before your move when you are trapped. You will be called by a QUALITY CONTROL AGENT who will inform you that you move will cost almost 5 times as much as your first quote, 2 times as much as your second quote. BUYER BEWARE and make sure you have an additional 5k to 10k on hand to pay for the new price upfront payment.

My Dewitt coordinator, Gloria was the contact up until day of arrival and then three gentlemen arrived around 10:30 and finished around 11:30. Upon entry they rolled out a blue carpet so their didn't harm the wood flooring. They handed me the inventory list full of numbers and was instructed to check them off as they bring stuff in the door. I don't know how they were so efficient getting stuff up but one by one the items got marked off. They unwrapped furniture and boxes I was able to empty right away as they included large items. At the end the gentleman went through all the paperwork and had me sign then they packed away their stuff and rolled up the blue carpet and left. Overall I had a really good experience throughout the process and and appreciative everything arrived in one piece.
