Mario and his team are friendly and personable, which made for an easy, smooth moving-in process, even after office hours. They called a few days before the move to see if we needed anything and check that we had received the code for our unit. Mario also called a day after move-in to check it all went well. Not a single hitch. We'll be back next year. (And their prices were less than most of the other units nearby because this location is still so new.) Btw I was not paid, nor did I receive any kind of compensation or service in exchange for this glowing review. They really earned it.

The price was fair and Mitch was very helpful during the whole process. The movers that I had, Esau, Thomas, and Shawn were all incredibly friendly and efficient. In fact, they were the same guys my mother had for her move only 7 months prior! These guys got to my original location early and were careful, as well as intelligent, instead of being the stereotypical yes men that I have seen movers be in the past. For 6 hours of work (the travel time to Brooklyn was the biggest part of the move), everything I packed survived the move. They even put my mother's bed back together prior to them leaving for Brooklyn. That was very nice of them. I would definitely recommend them and use them again for future moves, even if it means coming to Brooklyn to do so.

Please review these photos before considering doing business with Extra Space Storage in Cranbury…read more I pay over $300 a month for what I was guaranteed was a secure unit. I recently visited my unit after a few years and there's clear water damage from within the facility. There's dirt from the ceiling that I was assured by Extra Space staff would not fall into my space. There's several spider webs as well. I've rented many storage units in the last 20 years, when in college and living in apartments in Philadelphia and New York City. I've used both Public Storage and another Extra Space facility. I've never paid more for a unit than my space in Cranbury and have never had these problems. Shame on this company for taking my monthly fee for 7+ years and not fulfilling their guarantee of fee for service. I will be looking into legal action.

When I arrived the truck was ready, and he actually was able to switch me into the smaller truck I had originally wanted. The process, which I remember previously taking forever, was incredibly quick. From the time I checked in to the time I was pulling away with the rental had to be less than 10 minutes. And not because I was rushed, but because he was efficient. Before leaving it was explained to me that I was required to return the truck with a full tank of gas (as it was currently full upon taking it) with the gas receipt. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but when I returned the truck he looked at the receipt and the mileage and decided he owed ME money back. Basically that the gauge showed full when I took it, but in reality it might have been less- so to make up for that he refunded me $13 to be fair. That level of honesty and fairness isn't something you see too often anymore, especially with bigger companies. I'd highly recommend this location.

Our unusual move was relocating both our house and a small photo studio…read more In addition to the standard furniture, we had light stands, backdrop frames, camera cases, tripods, props and some delicate equipment I didn't want thrown in with regular boxes. The movers removed everything from the studio and ensured the equipment was well protected before loading it onto the moving truck. Building management took some time to clear a loading area for our pickup, but the crew used that time to arrange the boxes and ready the furniture instead of standing around. When we arrived at the new property, they first brought the studio equipment to the room they had designated for it, then moved on to the furniture in the home. The larger wardrobe had to be adapted a little to fit through the door, and they took their time and didn't rush. Although there were some unexpected challenges, the crew handled them without creating stressful situations.

The moving crew arrived at 9 am with the necessary equipment to move pianos, putting our eager minds at ease. They meticulously padded the piano, ensuring the wood surface and the sensitive internal workings were not damaged. The process of pushing the piano through our very narrow front door was carefully planned and executed with amazing precision, working together. Upon loading the piano, it was firmly positioned, and no vibrations were experienced during transport, which could have thrown it out of pitch or damaged the piano. The team had to navigate another awkward doorway at our new house and again took great care to ensure the piano arrived undamaged. They placed it just where we wanted it in our new Living Room to us, knowing what we were looking for. When that very special family heirloom arrived safely, the entire moving experience was quite comforting.
