Mario and his team are friendly and personable, which made for an easy, smooth moving-in process, even after office hours. They called a few days before the move to see if we needed anything and check that we had received the code for our unit. Mario also called a day after move-in to check it all went well. Not a single hitch. We'll be back next year. (And their prices were less than most of the other units nearby because this location is still so new.) Btw I was not paid, nor did I receive any kind of compensation or service in exchange for this glowing review. They really earned it.

The price was fair and Mitch was very helpful during the whole process. The movers that I had, Esau, Thomas, and Shawn were all incredibly friendly and efficient. In fact, they were the same guys my mother had for her move only 7 months prior! These guys got to my original location early and were careful, as well as intelligent, instead of being the stereotypical yes men that I have seen movers be in the past. For 6 hours of work (the travel time to Brooklyn was the biggest part of the move), everything I packed survived the move. They even put my mother's bed back together prior to them leaving for Brooklyn. That was very nice of them. I recently visited my unit after a few years and there's clear water damage from within the facility. There's dirt from the ceiling that I was assured by Extra Space staff would not fall into my space. There's several spider webs as well. I've rented many storage units in the last 20 years, when in college and living in apartments in Philadelphia and New York City. I've used both Public Storage and another Extra Space facility. I've never paid more for a unit than my space in Cranbury and have never had these problems. Shame on this company for taking my monthly fee for 7+ years and not fulfilling their guarantee of fee for service. I will be looking into legal action.

We recently rented a moving van from this location. The price was reasonable and the van was…read moreavailable for the 24 hour period we needed. There was a flat fee for the van and $1/mile charge. Being that we didn't plan on putting more than $30 miles on the van, the $1/mile charge suited our needs. However, it could easily get quite pricey for someone moving a distance. They also sell storage and moving boxes, if needed. When it came time to return our van, we had to wait 20-25 minutes. That's rather unacceptable. There was one guy at the counter, however, he was not in charge of processing paperwork to return a van. He was very friendly and pleasant, but just couldn't help us. The guy that normally processes van returns went to run an errand, which in turn required us to wait. My suggestion would be to call ahead and make sure that someone will be there to assist you.

We had rented a trailer from a neighborhood dealer in Northern Jersey and found that our wiring harness wasn't compatible. We left without lights but started getting worried on our way to move our son out of his apartment in DC, so we stopped in (since it was right off the turnpike) to see if he had the right connectors. Nothing worked. We were going to continue without lights until we found out that if you're pulled over, they impound the trailer! So we went back home to get our jeep, which we knew would work. Got there and he tested the lights, finding that the directionals didn't work ‍. Thank goodness he checked. He then took the time to splice on a new connecter to the trailer, and we were finally on our way, 2 hours later... Couldn't thank him enough. You'll be in good hands if you go here.
