Our kitchen suddenly backed up Thursday night and after my brief troubleshooting fou d the issue to be further down the drain and decided to get a professional to look at it. Called these guys Friday morning and they were able to schedule a person to come in later that afternoon to see if they can assess the problem and unclog whatever was built up in the pipes. I think the first guys name was Aaron, one of the owner's son, but he was super friendly and honest about prices and everything. He tried to unclog the pipe but unfortunately could not with the tools he had in his truck for the day. He was able to get someone out this morning on short notice. Charlie was the 2nd guy and he was also super friendly. All in all due to the problem we had, we had to go with water jetting but it wasnt a sales scheme where he was pushing it on me. Water jetting got the job done and when Charlie realized ths cap for our outdoor pour wouldnt work anymore, he went to Home Depot and bought a working cap all on his own. Appreciate the quality of work done here and will definitely repeat if we have any more problems in the future! read more

Family night was saved! We found out we had a clogged sewage line, probably due to the amount of people doing their business, because the toilets backed up. This never happened before so we went down the line of plumbing companies on Yelp, looking for someone to help us around 9PM at night, but they all quoted 3-4 hours out. We finally reached Kyle here at Second Opinion Plumbing and he said 30 min-1 hr! Kyle came over, gave us the low-down, and BAM! toilets and kids were happy once again. He even said he will come back to take pictures inside the sewage line to show us what possibly happened. The price wasn't overpriced at all. Thanks a lot Kyle! My air conditioner is an older one and this summer it has broken down twice! Austin Painter is the technician that has been to my house each time! The young man is professional, and personable! I was out of town this past week when the hot water heater went out. My wife called # on tank to have company come out. This was a big name chain company (Also one of our founding fathers, hint, hint). House is only 3 years old, so expected to be covered. The company that came out was prompt and courteous, but completely tried to oversell my wife with replacement tankless water heater, new water softener/carbon filter, and update to our R/O system. They quoted nearly $9,000 to do it all. I told my wife to hold off and wait until I got home. I looked up other local plumbers when I returned and found Second Opinion. I thought this was the perfect name given that is what I was looking for. I contacted and heard back from Ryan (Owner) right away. He was here within 2 hours. His assessment was similar to other, but stated we had a number of options and also there was no need to replace water softener. We could get parts for current tank and would be fixed for about $500. That would take a few days to get the parts because of the BTU of our tank. He could replace with new tank for about $2200 (other company was $3400). Or he could put in new tankless for $3400 (other company was $6700). He also offered to replace filters in R/O at No Charge if we went with him. We also discussed the whole home carbon system and decided to go with that as well. So we ended up getting the new tankless water heater, whole home carbon system, and upgraded R/O for half the cost of the competitor. It was also completely done in the same day. Bottom line is always get a Second Opinion. Ask for Ryan as he was thorough and straight forward. We will use them again for future plumbing needs. read more

Have been a home owner for 40 years and have had many many tradesmen for repairs etc. There isn't a lot of businesses that has as many 5 star reviews as this company on Yelp, that caught my eye. I was referred by a neighbor. I called and spoke with Ryan explained that I may have a leak in the shower wall. Justin was out in 4 hours. After an hour he was sure that I had no leak that the wet wall was due to over spray from the shower head. Fearing an expensive plumbing repair I was relieved that there was no leak in the wall, that it was something that occurred over a long period of time that I never noticed.
