Avoid ASAP Plumbing - Bait & Switch Pricing, "Theatrics," and Zero Accountability I unfortunately have to give ASAP Plumbing a 1-star review. If I could give them negative 5 stars, I would. We had two technicians, Jose Horlacher and Josh Karl, come out to check a leaking outdoor spigot and a wobbling toilet. From the start, it was nonsense theatrics, particularly from Josh (the senior tech). He tried to scare us into unneeded repairs, claiming our plumbing was so old he "couldn't touch it"--which is absurd, as the house was only built in 1996. When he lifted the toilet, he claimed it was "the worst news ever," stated the flange was off-center, and told us he would need to break and replace the tile to install a new flange. He used this fear-mongering to justify a massive $2,900 quote. When I questioned him again on the price, he changed his story and tried to justify the cost by claiming it was for a "2-year warranty." After I pushed back further, they suddenly dropped the toilet quote by $300 (to $1,350). The most disturbing part? Our doorbell camera captured him discussing this on the phone, saying, "Oh, let's just drop it down like we did with the other lady"--as if this manipulative pricing is a routine habit for them. Based on discussions with other plumbers and engineers, even with that "discount," the total for these two jobs should have been around $900 max. The reality was a complete bait-and-switch. They returned the following Tuesday and swapped the flange (picture attached) in just 20 minutes. It did not--I REPEAT, DID NOT--involve any of the tile work or major adjustments they claimed were necessary. We paid for a major demolition that was not required, but got a standard 20-minute repair. Honestly, they seemed to just linger around to pad the time rather than just getting it done. I would blame the behavior mainly on Josh, as he appeared to be the senior tech and Jose appeared to be in training or the least experienced... To make matters worse, the professionalism was non-existent: * They actually asked if we wanted the toilet caulked--as if leaving it unsealed was an option. We said, "Of course," yet when we checked, they had only caulked it halfway around. * They scratched up our toilet seat. * On the first visit, they left the lid to the main water line open, left their tools, gloves etc... scattered in our front yard Management has completely ignored us. I called three separate times to speak to a manager about rectifying this. Each time, I was told it would be "prioritized" and that a manager would contact me by the end of the day. It has now been a month. I purposely waited to give them the benefit of the doubt during the holiday season, but they have simply ghosted us. The only thing they did do was send an "itemized invoice" (picture attached) after I requested a breakdown of labor and supplies. It was offensive: it was done with zero effort and completely lacked detail--which I believe was done on purpose to hide the inflated costs. I cannot believe this happened given my past loyalty to this company. We had previously entrusted ASAP with major work, including a massive kitchen re-plumb where they redid everything for new appliances and re-installed our RO system. We also hired them for water heater circulators and other outdoor repairs. I had recently recommended them to friends and had to immediately reach out and tell them not to call. Beware of the theatrics at this company. They burned a loyal customer, overcharged significantly for simple work, and refused to take accountability. read more

Three weeks ago, I posted this review: WASTED DAY. On the morning of Saturday, February 28th, I called ASAP Plumbing to locate buried drain cleanouts on my property to use for an emergency pool drain. I spoke with the tech who said he would have someone at my house between noon and 4PM that day. I verified he had all of my contact info, and he confirmed I would get a phone call prior to their arrival. I waited until a few minutes after 4 to call after nobody arrived. The answering service confirmed I was in their system for service, but an appointment had not been made. Apparently the tech forgot to send me a "confirmation text" which sets the appointment in their system. I sat around the house and wasted an entire day because of their incompetency. Total fail, I will not call them again. About a week later, I received this response from management: ASAP Plumbing (Owner) 2 weeks ago We are sorry to hear about your experience and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further. A manager will reach out to you shortly so we can resolve your concerns. All Masters Plumbing Team In case anyone thought that was legitimate concern from management, nobody reached out to me after this post was made. I plugged the owner's response into AI for a translation: "We don't care that we wasted your entire day, nor do we care that you are also in the emergency service industry and lost wages due to our carelessness. We do care that potential customers see a negative review, so in an effort to downplay our mistake we will post this response in hopes someone will think we actually called this guy to correct our absolute fail". Still a solid one star, and zero if Google allowed it. This is not a place I would ever use in even the mildest of emergencies. read more

This company has alway been quick to get me help when I need it, however this last experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I have worked with them on several major projects. I had a leak on my 2nd story vanity that went into my kitchen. Because of the damages I had to have salt river restoration tear out the wall and ASAP fixed a large pipe behind the wall. They fixed the problem succesfully during a 1-day visit. I was charged ~3,600 for the fix. My concerns were: 1. I was overcharged - I have 2nd opinions that said this was far too much for replacing a vanity pipe - All aspects related to the drywall removal, containment setup, and cleanup was not performed by ASAP, this was handled and billed by the restoration company so I feel they double charged me for services not rendered 2. I never received any sort of help justifying with insurance - While not exactly their job, the technician Landon made it seem like he would be helping out I moved forward quickly with the suggestion insurance would cover most of the charge. He said he would show up to discuss with them in person, and then over the phone. - He ghosted me the day they arrived, and never followed up. - I sent multiple texts and made calls asking for guidance and got nothing. - I called the ASAP office twice, both times I was assured this would get escalated to a manager and I would get called back. I have received nothing. - I e-mailed ASAP twice more asking for a follow up. - Even if ASAP agreed with Insurance they couldn't cover, owning that and letting me know would have been appreciated. It seems I'm SOL regardless but expected some level of communication or a credit back from the company - however received no help after they got my 2nd payment. read more

Was charged for an Expansion Tank, that was not required on my system and never installed. I have reached out twice. Both times I was told it was escalated to the manager (who was in a meeting) Also, They do not provide an "Itemized" receipt. merely list parts but no prices for items. $3400 is Very expensive for a 40gal gas water heater, but I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Not that I ever wanted to re-pipe my home but that's what we had to do. Justin came to give us our quote. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through the challenges he saw of the job and gave me best and worst case scenarios. We got two other bids, ASAP fell in the middle but felt the most confidence from Justin. Fast forward to the project; Solomon was our tech and I cannot give enough kudos for the work he did! I was told by people who had gone through this process that we would be cleaning up drywall dust and dirt for years to come. Not the case with Solomon. He hung plastic drops in each area he was working in and the one tool that works as hard as he does, is his vacuum. We gave him an area of the garage to store his tools and at the end of every day he had that space and the house as clean as it was when he showed up. This was a big decision and we had concerns before starting this process. Now that it's done, I could not be more pleased with our experience and confident know we have ASAP available if we should have any issues in the future. read more
