I received several responses with quotes, and Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter was the first company to reach out. I contacted them around 5 PM on Wednesday, and they were able to schedule a free estimate for Friday. Dan Burke showed up right on time. He was professional, efficient, and easy to talk to. Like the other companies I spoke with, he recommended repiping as the best solution for the long run. He gave me an estimate for the project and also mentioned that if the office couldn't schedule the repair on Monday, he could stop by to do a quick temporary fix to stop the leak and then come back when they could finish the job. I really appreciated that because I don't like wasting water. The price Dan quoted was also very reasonable compared to the other companies. After thinking it over, I decided to go with Desert Water Plumbing and Rooter and called the office to schedule the appointment. They weren't able to do the repipe on Monday but scheduled it for Tuesday. Dan did come by on Monday to help temporarily stop the leak. Then he and his team came back Tuesday morning and started the project. Everything went smoothly. My house now has a new pipe, no more leaking, and it feels great knowing the issue is fixed. I'm glad I found a plumbing company I can trust.

While…read morethe cause of my leak seems to be resolved (at least for now) it did bother me that I took the time to ask several times with the dispatcher "Taneea"(sp) and she said there was no fee to diagnose and I kept asking are you sure because in order to see where the leak is coming from my bathroom upstairs from the shower and where it settling we need to look at the pipes underneath where the drywall is and that involves cutting the ceiling drywall. And I asked her again several times if there's any charge for leak tracing or anything she was leaving out just to look and see before repairing and she said no, there's no diagnostic charge. They get here and tell me it's gonna be $125 just to cut the drywall and I just don't understand how there can be such a disparity between what I verified by phone and what I was being told now. And even if I give them the benefit of the doubt that the dispatcher was mistaken (though that's something very strange for a dispatcher who works for and represents a company to say, if not true) the fact that she did tell me that clearly, you would think to keep a customer they would stand by their own word, so not a great first impression. I still paid them $455 to change the cartridge in my shower, but they would not take five or ten minutes to cut up two 6"x6" holes in the drywall and look inside to see if there's any other extensive damage or leaking. I may just leave it for now and keep an eye for any signs of staining or moisture rather than deal with drywall repair. I still will inspect around the electrical where the ceiling fan canopy is and remove it from the ceiling to see if there's any water damage to the fan and light fixture or if it can be salvaged and still works once all is dry and I can restore power to the room. But they refused to look for any signs below to ensure there were no other signs of a leak unless I paid more. Another thing is with a large hole behind the shower faucet escutcheon where the leak occurred what's to keep another cartridge from failing and leaking right down into the room below and getting into the electrical and drywall and ruining another ceiling fan? I wish they'd have taken the time to tell me how to seal off that wall behind the faucet handle or given me suggestions but they just kind of did their job and left. They didn't offer me any advice or tips to prevent this again or set my mind at ease, and taking the time to do that would have made me feel more "taken care of" and built a rapport as a new customer. They just wanted to do the job I asked and go. So while I have no other complaints so far, they didn't go the extra mile or make me feel reassured at all for such a serious issue. It was just a "job" to cross of their list and not spend a second longer than necessary to show, discuss or reassure.

He was able to provide a quote in a timely manner and fit us into our schedule within the week that we requested service. He answered all of my questions/concerns before project start. We had a water heater, expansion tank, and water pressure regulator installed. He was able to complete this in a couple hours and we have been very happy with our new water heater. On the day of the replacement, David, arrived right at the beginning of the estimated window (how often does that happen?) and completed the water heater replacement in just about an hour. While working on my water heater he was talking with another potential client and I was impressed that he was honest and upfront about his recommendation for replacing a solar/electric water heater system, and the pros/cons of what he was suggesting. On July 15 of 2026 I had American home and water come out after a storm and diagnosed two of my…read moremini splits, one of which they installed in 2025 so it's still under warranty and keep in mind labor is not under warranty and that's fine. It was a call in the evening not too late around 8 PM and a technician came out and she quickly diagnosed that one of my systems was the outdoor fan and the other one was the compressor. I did not agree with her diagnosis and so I had another company come out and they diagnosed it differently and I told the American home and water what the diagnosis was and had them come out and do a second opinion and they said you're right it is the control board. Please keep in mind that this unit is under warranty and it has been almost a full month and I've had one call made to me about the status of the warranty claim and the replacement part and in the meantime, I went with another company to have this repaired under warranty. Two reasons I'm writing this review; number one the technician that diagnose my systems was completely wrong originally and I was able to get it fixed quickly using another company and while I'm still waiting for this company to be in contact with me about the replacement part under warranty. I hate writing this because they've had great service early on and it's a disappointment that their customer service is now what's making me write this. I had to call three times originally to get an update.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

On 06/24/25, I contacted Plumbing Masters to replace the outdoor faucet water pipe. This was a minor repair job that required no work on the Main Waterline Pipe and took less than 30 minutes to complete. Despite the simplicity and the minimal parts required, I was presented with four cost estimations ranging from $725 to more than $1,000. I questioned the high pricing, noting that I had researched the cost of parts beforehand, but was told Plumbing Masters sources parts from its own distribution center, not local hardware stores. Given the nature of the repair and the ease of access, I feel I was grossly overcharged. Additionally, during the service call, Cody the technician, repeatedly attempted to identify other potential plumbing issues, which felt like excessive upselling rather than genuine concern for my home. Cody claimed the water had likely been dripping for some time and suggested contacting his friend at Quick Restore to check for water damage and mold. Cody also mentioned that his friend could facilitate filing an insurance claim, which further contributed to my perception of being pressured into unnecessary additional services. Cody informed me that the water pressure in my home was high (80 PSI) and recommended installation of a water pressure regulator at an additional cost, warning that failure to address this could result in serious and costly damage to the main water pipe. His explanation left me uneasy, so after his departure, I contacted the City of Phoenix for an independent assessment. Within 40 minutes, a city worker checked the water pressure and found a reading of 78 PSI, which he assured me was well within the city's accepted range of 40-100 PSI, and not a concern unless readings exceed 120 PSI. The city worker also checked the water flow at the meter and found it satisfactory. Finally, I was troubled by Cody's request for a positive review upon completion of the job. When I inquired if such reviews benefited him, he admitted, "I get a kick-back for the job." This revelation was disappointing and calls into question the integrity of Plumbing Masters practices. In summary, my concerns include: * Excessive and unjustified pricing for a minor repair * Uncomfortable upselling tactics for additional services * Questionable advice regarding water pressure and recommended equipment * Lack of transparency regarding incentives for positive reviews I regret not seeking additional estimates before authorizing the work, and I am left with significant buyer's remorse. read more

Plumbing Masters has taken advantage of Young girl that was recently almost killed in horrific car accident and could Not work with heavy pain killers in system.,could Not drive..a CLOG in sink was the reason my highly medicated child call Plumbing Masters..3 men showed up to Lie/Cheat my child out of over 3k to unclog one drain..but convinced her to join club to save 600?? They took advantage of fact that "most Young homeowners " have No idea that "HOT WATER Heater" has Nothing to do with "clogged drain" so one of the 3 workers snooped around while other 2 plumbers/Rip off artists kept talking her into joining expensive club to save money?? When the "snoop plumber/Rip off person saw her hot water heater is from 2011..they all ganged up to insist she purchase a New Water Heater from them and join their expensive Club to save money?? So what should if cost $77.00 Most to unclog one kitchen drain..it cost her over 3000.00 to get same drain unclogged and a new hot water heater she did NOT need as old one worked perfect with No sign of problems..I spoke to management myself to ask for old/Working great hot water heater Back..as they quickly removed when they installed new Unnecessary Hot water heater..I was rudely treated and was told "I'm tired of elderly clients kids complaining after they talk elderly into Unnecessary Work..then I was rudely told that none of his 3 workers were informed that my young Medicated child was "incompetent"?? Thank you, thank you Chris Clark from Plumbing Masters! Excellent service! I should say I am very leery of plumbers. I feel they tend to over-charge and under-deliver. My bathroom sink has given me trouble since I purchased my home in 2012. I have had at least four other plumbers out from other companies for one reason or another. They all said essentially I needed a main drain clean out and that was it. I was afraid of the expense of finding out the sink was a much larger issue. I have a modest income and would not have been able to afford a costly and invasive repair. After over a year of the sink not working I finally called Plumbing Masters for the first time and was very fortunate that they sent me Chris Clark. He arrived quickly after I called. He was very real about the issue with a no b.s. attitude, he listened to what I said about the issue and other plumbers coming out, and talked to me like we were on the same level without arrogance. Chris worked very fast and was extremely kind. His years of experience were obvious. Within a half hour he was able to show me that I had both a cracked and a collapsed pipe. He explained the repairs needed and the process. I was very open about checking with other plumbers before I agreed to have him do the repair, and he encouraged me to check around. Chris' price point was very generous and he worked with me as much as he could. The very next day he came first thing in the morning and had replaced the pipes within three hours. I felt very comfortable with Chris and in the future I would call him exclusively for any issues. I am writing this on behalf of my father. On March 12, 2017 my father called plumbing master because his kitchen sink was clogged. Jessie arrived and was very polite and professional. He went to work and ran a cctv in the kitchen service line. My father was told that through the cctv inspection the service had galvanized pipe but the pipe had failed. It was suggested by Jessie and Roger that the line would need to be replaced and rerouted since it was under foundation. My father was given an estimate of $20,000.00 to remove and reroute the plumbing for the kitchen and laundry. I spoke to my father on March 13,2017 and he told what had taken place. I called Jessie and asked for an itemized list of work, material, equipement and labor but was told he didn't handle that but would pass the message on to Roger. After talking to Jessie I began asking about the job. It seemed that the estimate was very high. I was told about plumbing Masters process but when I mentioned that I worked for City of Phoenix Water Dept the back peddling began. I said that price was extremely high. Jessie asked what I thought was fair and when I said $9000.00 was still high I was told if I agreed to that total they would start the work asap. I told Jessie we would not be using them and would get a second opinion. We called another plumber who came out right away and cctv'd the same service and found that the pipe was plastic and not galvanized as stated and only problem was grease buildup. he cleared the service and re cctv'd the service and it was clear with no problems. An easy five stars for the wonderful and world class service provided from initial consultation all the way to completion! I had a leaking kitchen hot water shut off valve which I was unable to remove/replace (the valve was frozen). Of course I had an important appointment at work that morning, and I couldn't leave the water shut off to the house for various reasons. After explaining my predicament to the wonderful customer service agent named Kristin managed to set me up for an appointment asap (even though they were busy that day, and the earliest available was in the afternoon)....Kristin went above and beyond by calling dispatch to ensure I was made a priority, and I really appreciated that!!! Additionally, I was called 30 minutes in advance of the arrival of the plumbing professional arriving, which again was very appreciated! Joe Middleton, the plumbing professional whom came out to remove/replace the frozen leaky shut off valve, was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely friendly, professional, on time, quoted a very reasonable rate for the work, and finished the job quickly! He even fixed the piping going to my garbage disposal (which the builder installed incorrectly) and only charged me for parts, when he couldve charged me a couple extra hundreds more! This review is long overdue. Plumbing Masters installed my sewage pipe on 12/28/2016. I have an older home and with that an old sewage pipe that was totally done for. It took me awhile to get about 5 to 7 quotes. But Plumbing Masters was the last company I received a bid from. The other companies did not work with me as to what the real issue was, they just eyeballed the line and gave me an estimate. One other guy said it would cost extra money to examine the line through their camera. BUT this company came in ready for action. Worked diligently to try to figure out the situation. It was a very bad situation, they new it, but they wanted to make sure I understood how bad it really was. I Knew my sewage pipe needed to be replaced, and I knew it was going to be bad, but I didn't know how I was going to be able to pay for this. It was truly a dilemma for me. Thanks to Chad working out a financial plan for me with 18 months free of interest. I felt relieved! Oh and also, they dug up, installed the sewage line in one day! Plumbing Masters includes a 10 year warranty should anything happen within that time period, I am covered. I honestly can now appreciate a toilet flush with out it backing up! Lol!! On Thanksgiving Day, our sinks backed up. I waited until 6:30 on Friday, and was kindly told that the regular day rate began at 7am. I thanked her, and they set up a time for 9am, and they came right on time. Ira and Terry were both personable and friendly: obviously knew what they were doing. They both covered their boots to protect my flooring, even though they were in and out of the house many times. Ira drew me a picture, and I agreed that we needed to clear and hydrovent our lines. They were quick and efficient, and worked together well as a team. I have 3 dogs, 2 of them German Shepherds, and these guys were great to work with and around them. The process of using deodorizers on their equipment is such a great idea! Terry noticed my bathtub faucet was corroded, and warned me that it might be a bigger problem. It was, and we decided that we should address the problem sooner rather than later. We are delighted with the excellent repair and ingenious way to approach the problem! We definitely were pleased with the service, and when we need further help, we will request Terry and Ira by name: definitely professional and helpful! After 13 years our family went through the unfortunate incident of needing a water heater replaced. Like any husband he panicked at the thought of an expensive home repair and called both George Brazil and Option One Plumbing who not only gave him the runaround but told him that we would have to wait until Monday or possibly Sunday to have our water heater replaced. It really disappointed my husband because we had been using Option One Plumbing for over 12 years and George Brazil for over 8 years so we thought that are customer track record would have made us a priority. They treated him like our emergency was an inconvenience to their company. He looked on Google and found a company called Plumbing Masters. They were not only friendly and professional over the phone, but when Mike Pace came the next morning actually early he was able to give the type of quality service that we deserved what a very very reasonable and affordable price. A bathroom drain was running slow and the usual drain cleaning products didn't help. We also had a shower valve that the original builder put in backwards (hot is cold and cold is hot on the dial.) One of the closer plumbers to our home in Buckeye that I found is Plumbing Masters in Peoria, Arizona. The company had 10 yelp reviews, all 5 star. I used the site's online chat to get more info and they offered to call me to arrange a time to stop by. Awhile later, Connie called me back. The friendly receptionist offered to have someone stop by that afternoon between two and seven PM. Around 6:30 PM, I got a call that the plumber would arrive soon. A short while later, Jack showed up. He is a professional in every sense, he quickly diagnosed the two issues and gave me an estimate. At that point, my wife mentioned the toilet seemed to be running too long. He immediately fixed that before going any further. Thanks! The estimate we received was less than I expected and he even offered a $50 coupon discount. We needed plumbing work due to water damage backing up from the kitchen sink and spilling into the utility and hallway closet and flooring. We called Plumbing Masters for locate a leak under our slab. They sent Roger out who investigated and quickly came up with a solution of abandoning the existing hot water underslab piping and re-routing through the attic. Roger did without having to use any detection equipment. This was great idea but would be no easy task, due to location and limited access to the piping manifold in the wall between the back to back bathrooms. This is where we believe they sent the "A" Team, technician Jessie Green! Not only was he experienced and meticulous but also personable and professional. Jessie re-piped the hot water side through a 11" x 24" opening in the drywall that was just 2" above the floor, not to mention the piping was 18" deep in the wall. Jessie takes great pride in his work, this is apparent by the excellent workmanship of the pipe installation and uniform soldering of the fittings. I know this because I am a commercial construction project manager. Jessie will be our pick for any future plumbing work that I may have. Ok first let me say, this is my very first time writing a review however I was so impressed with this company, I had to let it be known. It started from the first call to Corrie....maybe her name was Courtney but Anywho, she was so kind. She provided me estimates and gave me same day service. The two gentleman, Ron and Jeff were waiting at my home when I got here. That is the very first time I didn't have to wait. These 2 were very nice and explained things in great detail. They had my toilet working in minutes. As Mr. Jeff and I discussed the repairs, I continued cooking dinner and without 2nd thought, I started to pour the drained grease down the kitchen sink(dumb move, I know) Mr. Jeff immediately stopped me and gave me a kind chastisement. It was like my dad standing right there. I promised him I would never pour grease down the drain again. Mr. Jeff, I kept my promise, I did not pour the grease nor will I ever again. I began my morning with an awful sewer smell that flooded two of my restrooms. I had never utilized a plumber before so I did not know who to call. I called Plumbing Masters that I looked up on-line and wanted someone in my area of Arcadia, AZ., mind you this was at 8am on a saturday and thought to myself lets see how hard this will be to get someone out. To my surprise I was provided with amazing customer service by Anna. She was friendly and efficient with the information she gave me and provided an expected time of arrival of the plumber. Roger the plumbing specialist was extremely knowledgable and quick. He knew exactly what to do and provided me with a quick referral about a great restoration company called Rocky Mountain Restoration. In addition Roger took care of calling the City of Phoenix to come out and look at the issue in the drains. He essentially handled everything with the city of phoenix and diagnosed the issue immediately to begin repairs so I can have my water and toilets working! We had a problem with our upstairs tub - it had been refurbished with a new coat of epoxy paint enamel a few years ago and a large stain at the bottom had been growing over the last year. I had never been able to get the stain out no matter what I tried so we called Plumbing Masters to see what they could do. I was sure it was going to be an expensive repair job and would probably require replacement of the tub if we wanted to improve the cosmetics in the bathroom. Fortunately they sent out Jessie Greene (really nice guy) to take a look and evaluate the problem - it didn't take him long to figure out what to do. He asked for some bleach and a brush and, long story short, he removed the stain in a few minutes of scrubbing. My wife an I cannot tell you how relieved we were with our tub looking new again and not having to shell out big bucks for repair (we were charged $0.00 for his work). It is sure nice to know that there are honest professionals out there you can depend on - they are our number plumber to call now for sure. read more

We needed a plumber to come out as soon as possible once I got home from work. They schedule just like most businesses do these days, by a certain span of time. Jessie was scheduled between 4pm and 6pm. I had let them know that I wouldn't be home until after 420pm. I received a text message from Jessie stating he was on his way. I was worried that he would get there and if I was not there, leave. When I came out of the alley, I looked to my left and there Jessie was parked in his van waiting. That was the first thing that screamed exceptional customer service. Jessie came in and looked at our bathroom sink repair and then quoted prices. While Plumbing Masters is priced high, the service, experience and guarantee out weight the price. I called these guys as I had an Emergency, my toilet flooded as it was backed up pretty badly. They made us the next stop because me and my family are proud and loyal Gold club members. They came out and did an excellent job with finding the problem not only quickly but with a great attitude and professionalism!. Jesse Barragan and Jesse Green were our Plumbing Experts who took care of our sewage pipes and replaced our damaged and old ones. Knowing that we were die hard Az Cardinals fans the General Manager Brian Mcquistion got us 3 tickets for the Arizona Cardinals Playoff game against the Green Bay Packers!. In the redzone! Very disappointed with this company. The plumber was very friendly but prices are ridiculous. The holiday weekend was approaching and I had a toilet that wasn't working. I needed it fixed. I had already purchased the toilet fill valve to replace but then the shut off valve tubing broke. I was quoted $350 to rebuild the tank and replace the shut off valve. I figured I could buy a new toilet for less than that but was then convinced it was better to have a plumber replace the shut off valve. Thinking I could survive a day by filling the tank with water to flush the plumber replaced the shut off valve and put in MY new fill valve. After he was finished he asked me if the toilet had been leaking from the bottom of the tank. NO it hadn't been leaking. Now it leaks and I cannot use it at all. It cost $215 and is not even woking!!! If it hadn't been a holiday I would have done more research. read more

These guys are great, We live way out on highway 87 and have been turned down by service companies before because of where we are located but Plumbing Masters did not bat an eye at it or tell us it's going to be a more expensive trip fee which is nice and great customer service! We had them out a few weeks back and they replaced a garbage disposal and a pull out sprayer kitchen faucet for us. My wife and I saw there ad on Television and decided to give them a try and we are very glad we did. The price was very reasonable for proffessional work and 2 very nice plumbers Ron Sorenson and Hairy Bung who went above and beyond for us and did not try and up sell us on anything we did not need as other companies in the past have. Chad and his crew came out right away on 03/10/2017 and diagnosed the problem, helped with pricing and financing. It was a big job and costly but they got me a better than reasonable price and they were efficient, compassionate and friendly! The job was to take 2 days but on day 2 there was some less than efficient help available (hey, it happens!!) but Mike (field supervisor) came right out to my house, within in minutes of me calling the office, and rectified the situation with a customers always right attitude and a firm hand...which I appreciated greatly! I have lots things coming up with house renovations in the very near future and although there was a minor hiccup, this company is more than capable of handling them. I will be calling them again and referring friends and family for all of their plumbing needs! read more

However, the reality was the exact opposite. He is a total two faced scumbag working for a fraudulent company. **Damage to Home:** Tate was supposed to replace a corroded kitchen faucet but to try to avoid responsibility and coverage all he did was tighten it so aggressively until it caused a major leak, resulting in water damage to the cabinetry underneath. **Negligence & Bad Faith:** He spent less than 5 minutes in my home and claimed he was "unable to inspect" the angle stops and water softener. I later discovered this was a deliberate attempt to avoid performing covered repairs under my home warranty. He chose to lie to the warranty company to ENSURE my claims were denied, despite the items being clearly covered. **Zero Accountability:** Since his visit, I have called J&L and Tate over 10 times and left countless voicemails. I have never received a single return call. Every time I reach the receptionist, I am told he is "busy" and then promptly hung up on. This is an UNETHICAL company that colludes with warranty providers to avoid doing work, while actively damaging customer property in the process. I have officially filed a complaint with the state regulatory agencies and considering complain to Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) regarding their conduct. Save yourself the stress and the damage--hire a real professional instead.

I believe I was taken advantage of. Thought you all out there should know. Full timeline: My AC stopped cooling, so I called Forrest Anderson, a company I've used for the past four years for regular service and check ups. They said a technician could come out after 5:00 PM, but that after-hours service would be time-and-a-half--$150 instead of the normal $100 service call. I was also told parts might cost slightly more. I agreed, with the understanding that we would discuss pricing once the issue was diagnosed. The technician arrived and called me about 10 minutes later (could see him on the security cameras), saying the issue was a failed dual run capacitor and that he had the part in his truck. Before authorizing the repair, I asked multiple times what the total cost would be for parts AND Labor. The first response was that "the computer isn't working," so he couldn't look it up yet. I asked again, when he called back 5 minutes later,and he said the total would be $734. When I pressed for a breakdown of parts and labor, he said he'd have to get back to me. Based on the price, I assumed this must be an expensive part or a labor-intensive repair. I was out to dinner and couldn't look it up. The technician completed the repair in about 10 more minutes and left shortly after--roughly 20 minutes total on-site. I saw them come and go with the cameras on my house, sharing updates with the technician coming and going. Afterward, when I could look up the part, I discovered the same dual run capacitor costs about $20 on Amazon, and even less from a local parts supplier. At that point, it became clear that I was charged about $500 dollars for a minimal labor job and a very inexpensive part. I trusted them when they claimed their computer was down and couldn't provide pricing details, but somehow it worked well enough to charge me $734. Had I been told the actual part cost upfront, I would have declined the repair and hired someone else at a fair price. I tried repeatedly to speak with the owner to resolve this and left messages for the owner. Instead, I received a call from Dan, the service manager, who spoke to me as though I had done something wrong simply for requesting a detailed invoice. At one point, he said over and over "you agreed to the repair". I told him that I trusted you were quoting me a fair price, and not $700 in labor, with a $20 part. He could not explain that to me, when I reminded him that the call was $150, instead of $100, and that the part was $20. He literally lectured me and kept saying that. I reminded him that I trusted them to quote me fairly. After four years as a customer, this felt deceptive and predatory. This was not a labor issue--it was a 10-minute diagnosis, a 10-minute fix, and a massive markup that relied on my trust and lack of transparency.

Dave is a great listener, communicator and ally in our quest to conquer our plumbing problems, and we're with him till he's at least 90 years old!
