The Way Cool Plumbing & Air team did such an incredible job installing not one but TWO new AC units & TWO new furnaces in our home in North Phoenix. Chris and Kyle both were integral in getting this project taken care of for us. We were nervous about the cost and getting the units installed but the team worked with us on both those concerns. They were understanding of our budget and were creative in finding a way for us to stay within our comfort zone. Also, they were quick to get the units installed. We were concerned that we would be without AC for a week but Kyle was able to get us on the schedule a day later! Jorge and his team doing the installation arrived right on time and I really appreciated the e mail & text notifications of who each of the installers were that were entering my home. They were very tidy and thoughtful with the installation and from what I can tell they did an incredible job! Our house is nice and cold! I would totally recommend the Way Cool team if you have any AC maintenance or need a new installation! Thank you Chris, Kyle, Jorge and team! We really appreciate you guys! read more

Way Cool Plumbing & Air - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

way cool took advantage of my elderly parents. high prices, upselling additional expensive unrequested services, and will not honor their warranty to correct their mistake of installing the expensive upsell of new cartridges for the shower valves . hot and cold is now reversed. They skipped a scheduled service call, leaving me waiting for 1/2 a day. these guys will leave you hanging after taking advantage of your situation... way cool came back out, saw the issue had been corrected, I fixed it, and agreed to refund part of the bill for the work done incorrectly. I give credit to the power of Yelp for helping resolve this issue! read more

I have used this company for several years for plumbing repairs. I am usually able to get someone to come out the next day. The technician Jeff is very friendly, personable, and always does a very good job. I once had a minor issue about an earlier repair. I called the office about it, and Jeff personally called me back, and came out within an hour. The company sends out $100 off coupons to me. I will continue to use this company for my plumbing repairs. read more

Beware! They may claim that they took over warranty issues for Phoenix Heating & Cooling but that is not true. They "took over" their customer list but not any of the previous companies responsibility. (Which is not what is mentioned when calling in to have a warranty issue serviced.). Therefore they will not actually honor anything other than the manufacturers warranty in which case I STRONGLY recommend using any other company to fix your issue! Customer service was evasive and unwilling to honestly answer questions regarding the "take over." Overall, an extremely frustrating experience and I would suggest steering clear! read more

Our journey was a very rough start with Way Cool. I will say that EVERY single tech theyve sent to our home from installation of an entire new system, ductwork and insulation, to plumbing work has been spectacular! The office staff is an entirely different story! Sold us on a lie and misrepresentation of what the energy audit actually is /was and what was included. Our system was installed in April of this year. We were promised many things, many times by many people. The issue was office turnover and communication. I was finally put in touch with Kyle White the operations manager. We had a very long discussion over the phone and it was extremely respectful, responsive and result filled. He listened to the pure hell we had experienced and all of the conversations we had with multiple people at the company offices. He was professional and their was mutual respect from both sides. In the nd he saved a customer and potentially many more potential customers. He is to be commended. Today we had Zach come to do our 6 month check up (the office reacheduled from last week due to some emergency). Zach was incredibly professional, friendly and kind. We had to speak with a Trane rep on the phone together. He was very patient and understanding. Meanwhile Richard another tech came by with the new filter for our system. Together they had us checked out and back up on no time! So far so good. Definitely give them a chance to earn your business. I have and we are happy! read more

Technicians were nice but pricing on maintenance and repairs super inflated. We were able to take care of both jobs they quoted much cheaper. Very disappointed that they refused to hold up on contract deals made with William's, the AC company they bought out. They assumed clients but not contracts doesn't seem right. R.I.P. William's. read more

We've had them come out to our house for a couple different things and I've been happy with their work and service. They are professional, and their text system allows you to have a good idea of when they'll be there. They're proactive on what needs to be done but not egregiously heavy-handed on upselling. I feel empowered to know more about my place after talking to their people, which I really like. read more

We recently had both of our HVAC units replaced, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Way Cool HVAC! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and downright impressive. Kendra Harrison went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. She was kind, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive, and made sure we felt confident in every decision. She truly cared about our comfort and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy...and we are! The install crew was awesome, everything was clean and efficient, and we can already feel the difference. If you're looking for a family owned company that delivers great service with people who actually care - this is it. Huge thanks to Kendra and the whole Way Cool team! You're the best! read more

Had a great experience with my HVAC team from start to finish. Kyle came out about a month ago, walked me through everything, and provided a clear, honest quote--no pressure, just straight answers. Then Jorge and Jeandro came in and put in the real work--about 10 hours fixing issues that dated back over 50 years. Not an easy job, but they handled it with professionalism and attention to detail the entire time. "True service isn't just showing up--it's solving problems the right way, no matter how big." Really appreciate the effort and craftsmanship from this team. Highly recommend. read more

I called and got an AI Assistant who made an appointment between 4 and 8 PM, but no one showed up. I got a call first thing the next morning, checking up on the situation and they sent someone over by noon. He also helped educate me about filters and having my air conditioner serviced twice a year as well as my water heater. read more

There is never a "convenient" time for an HVAC unit to fail during our extremely hot summers. Way Cool responded the same day and had the necessary part installed the following morning. My thanks to technician Ariel Davis for his professionalism. He was on-time and upon finding what caused the problem, explained what happened in detail; and -- provided an estimate prior to making the repair. read more

Make sure you get a competitor price. Don't be stupid like me . I assumes the price was the going rate and agreed to their price to rehang my A/C, and replace the drip pan, only to find out I paid DOUBLE the average price. I paid $2,875. for a service that took two men 2 hours and 30 minutes from the time the truck arrived and left. The parts are most likely less than $100. I was a fool. Don't be one too. read more

Way Cool plumbing and AC, were incredible!Once I called them, they were here, the next day! I had a 'new' water softener, it was not only attached improperly, and was leaking a drop per second, losing more water than I thought!( and the water bills had been terribly high for two years! When Jeff saw the problem, he immediately got _+to work, to properly attaching it ( I will review the inept ones separately!) After the water softener, I contacted them again regarding the never ending water leaks..., Outside!!! Jeff took care of those , and by the next bill, I'm hoping to see the bills go further in the direction needed!!!I've been paying for so long, with so much wasted water, that I am so grateful to the owner,Jared and Jeff, for fixing what no one else could find! And I had taken pictures of everything the day before, bc the bill came from last month! And no one can put up with this for 2+ years, the loss of water and high bills monthly!!' I will never again use a self pronounced plumber, who leaves the job unfinished, unattached and had the money for the softener, so I guess he was finished here! And weirdly happy! Because now I have a contract with Way Cool, and I won't need to worry again, about two morons, who only believe in their minds, that they were plumbers!!! Thank you SO much to Jared for having this company and Jeff and Chris for their work and dedication to fixing what the two stooges were not capable of doing!!! And I don't need to worry about a 3rd Stooge, which was anything but funny! read more

This was the absolute worst plumbing experience. We as the homeowner installed a new toilet and it flushed but not correctly. We just needed the toilet uninstalled and reinstalled. We were conned into doing unnecessary services in the amount of 945.00 just for the plumber to come to the conclusion that the toilet is defective. It took the plumber 6 hrs to Say the toilet is defective. I'm not 100% convinced the toilet was defective but needed some answer after 6 hrs and a 945.00 bill. If you value your time or money I would not use this company. read more

Received their mailer and decided to support a small local company trying to gain business in North Peoria. Scheduled a free water heater service with a full plumbing inspection--part of their effort to build a loyal client base. Sounded like a great value! Appointment was set for 9 AM - 12 PM, so I rearranged my schedule to be available. The day of, they called to cancel, citing "emergencies" and rescheduling me for Friday. Since I couldn't accommodate, I told them I'd go with another company, and they didn't seem to care. What they didn't realize? I also needed shower drain service, a backyard faucet repair, and HVAC maintenance--work that could have turned into a loyal, paying customer. Instead, they prioritized a guaranteed payday over honoring their own promotional offer. If you don't want to offer free services, don't advertise them. Wasting marketing dollars just to flake on potential clients is a bad business move. read more

Had our A/C crater on 8/19; Beau from Way Cool (better and formerly known as North Valley Mechanical, Heating, and A/C) came that day and found that our 17-year old system was DOA. (We had considered a new system a year ago.) They installed a new 4-zone Trane system on the 21st, with Jorge and Pedro working more than 11 hours in blistering heat. The new system had a malfunctioning temperature sensor and a few zone control and Internet connection issues which Cameron and Jorge fixed in several timely visits over the next week. We have been on their twice a year service plan for over five years, and have found them to be responsive, skilled, honest, and reliable. That's why we recommend them. read more
