1 Star - Unreliable Service When It Matters Most…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Freedome Pest Control. At the beginning, everything seemed fine. They treated my property and, while there were no issues, they had no problem charging me every month. Unfortunately, when I actually needed their help again, the service completely fell apart. We started having mice again in a home with a six-month-old baby, so this was not something we could ignore or delay. I scheduled an appointment and waited a full week. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up and no one called. I only received a call an hour and a half after the appointment window, explaining that the technician had an emergency. Emergencies are understandable -- the lack of communication is not. What made this worse was that they then tried to reschedule the visit another 10 days later, despite the active pest issue and the presence of an infant in the home. When I expressed my concern and asked to cancel my membership, I was told a manager would call me. No one did. I called again the next day to cancel and was told the same thing -- that a manager would call me. Again, no call. Instead, I was told I am locked into a one-year contract. A contract for what? Paying monthly, missed appointments, no follow-up, and no accountability? This experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful, especially with a young baby at home. The company seems happy to take your money when everything is quiet, but disappears when there is a real problem that needs urgent attention. I would not recommend Freedome Pest Control to anyone, particularly families with small children who need reliable and responsive service.

If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless.
