I paid almost 10k gif what I thought were professionals. first thing they pack was my vacuum?? i do need to clean. they broke things and didn't tell me. left a lot behind. first time they were leaving, had to run out and ask tgen to take done things. then I got to garage and the stuff I wanted taken was sitting there. they had left. complained and was told I should have been instructing them? um, I did and what gif I pay 10k for? heard he gets dsy laborers, they don't know what they are doing. read more

Had these guys move us. They brought items that weren't ours and lost my kitchen knives, stand mixer, a leather sofa ( that they found) and my collection of Herend figurines. would not recommend them. I have moved plenty of times and this is the first disaster. We were in contact with their office on a weekly, daily basis. Finally they td us we waited too long. Even the insurance we bought though them offered us $60. What a joke. Must add that the actual movers were polite and respectful. read more

I hate to move. We worked with Bridge Brothers and our move was almost enjoyable if moves can be enjoyable. It started with Candece coming out to review our move. She listened intently and took notes. Then she provided us with what we thought was a reasonable quote. The crew we worked with: Dan, Paul Jr., Carlos and Luis were very professional, amenable and extremely pleasant. They made sure that our belongings were secure and wrapped for protection. They bent over backwards to make sure that our items were placed exactly where we wanted them to go. I can't say enough good things about how our move was handled. read more

Dishonest business owner. DONT give him your credit card, he will make unauthorized charges and claim he forgot to turn off auto pay. He will also hold your stuff in storage hostage to extract more fees. Sounds reasonable over the phone but careless and takes advantage of his customers once he has possession of their things (And their money). Makes promises he later retracts ... for how expensive of a service you should at least expect quality service. There's not enough room to talk about the damage to goods and the request to not go through with insurance claims. This guy will step over dollars to pick up a penny, stay away. I've moved four times in the past three years, so I've dealt with a lot of moving companies. I'm SO GLAD we chose Bridges Bros for our latest move! I called for a quote. Most places have you fill out a form and they guesstimate from that, but these guys send a person out. When I balked at the timing they had available for someone to come out, they graciously accommodated my timeline, sending the owner out to do our estimate. And he was right on! Our move was scheduled for the Thursday Ida was supposed to hit, but they called to confirm and were still game to move us. Thankfully, Ida came a little early and we had pretty great weather. Eric, Jimmy, Seth, and Colby were all amazing! Eric clearly knows his stuff and guided his crew easily and Tetrised all our stuff into the van expertly, all while keeping up chit chat and joking with us. They were super convivial while also being super efficient. We had a lot of laughs and talked comic books, guitars, and cars! Our quote was for three movers, but they ended up sending four. They arrived on time, got the job done well, treating our stuff nicely, using lots of moving pads, boxes, and straps to make sure things didn't shift or rub too much. And when it came time to pay, they didn't jack up the price for the extra guy. I can't recommend these movers enough and, while I hope I won't be moving again any time soon, I'd hire Bridges Bros again in a second! read more

We hired Bridges in the fall to move our furniture and belongings into a pod for a major construction project. Today, we finally had them back to unpack the pod and move the items back into our house & garage. Tommy and Tristan could not have been easier to work with. They were punctual, made sure items were being put where we wanted them and made quick work of the job. (Tommy was also part of the team back in the fall). With a big move in several stages Bridges Bros were great. They were flexible with scheduling my dates and and add on content. The crew was excellent: on time and clean and careful with my possessions. I had a lot of art and ceramic statuary and they professionally wrapped and crated where needed. They moved my baby grand piano and with precision and team work got it out of my houses tricky layout faster than the guys who delivered it years before. It was a great move. Our move involved moving from a home of over 30 years. We are building a new home (half the size) so are in a rental We were moving furniture to storage and to the rental. All this needless to say was overwhelming for me. But Bridges Bros helped with my indecisiveness, even packing my storage items in such away that they could add items if necessary. Which it was. 5.0 I received three quotes from local companies. Two did estimate entirely over the phone. The owner of Bridges Bros, Jeremy, came to my house and explained the process his company uses. This meeting was a big part of the reason I chose Bridges. They were not the lowest estimate. They have a fabulous way of estimating the total cost. Very impressive with Cantrece zooming with me on the phone. But this review is really based upon Mike and his crew of Matty and Dan. They are the heart of the company and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Respected my belongings, were careful not to track dirt into my house, set up all furniture that needed to be disassembled to move. I had a very large bookcase that I wanted moved from one room to another. The three men tried various ways but the turn was too tight. I told them to just forget it. About 30 minutes later I see Mike and his crew remove a window. They took bookcase out one window and into the other room through another window. Totally genius. I wasn't even aware my windows popped out. Without Mike's great idea my bookcase would never be where I wanted it. Mike certainly went the extra mile. A moving company is only as good as their employees. These men worked hard and long. They were professional and efficient. I highly recommend Bridges Bros. read more

We recently had an in-town move with Bridges Brothers. Although not the cheapest option, we chose them for their good reviews and their promise of accurate time estimates. We had a lot of things and didn't want our costs underestimated. The guys showed up mostly on time and were very pleasant. There were no major problems with the move; a few dings here and there and an item or two broken but that's to be expected. However, despite their promises their time estimate was apparently off and we paid an extra $500, about 12% over the estimate. In fact this move cost $500 more than we paid for our move of the same stuff ten months ago, and that move involved multiple stops and a few hours of travel time. I think this is a great company and would recommend them -- the guys worked without complaint and we tipped well. I would just add about 10% -15% to their estimate when budgeting the costs of your move. Edit: Jeremy is correct in that after I posted this review he made the small correction he mentions in his comment. As I said, this is a great company with honest leadership. read more

About two weeks ago we used Bridge brother to move from Georgetown, MA to White field NH. The move could not have gone any better. The Crew of Mike, Matty, and Miah did a fantastic job with the bad weather, the spring mud, and a little snow. Back in oct 2023 our home on main st in exeter ,n.h was hit and destroyed by a drunken driver . After everything that was damaged and accounted for by our insurance Co! The biggest job was to pack everything up , in the home to put into storage ! This process took 3 days to pack everything up ! To move to their storage unit . This was so well done , by this team of experts ! Whom I noticed took this job seriously, for watching them individually pack the nit Nats down to the clothing , and carefully wrapping the heirloom paintings ! I was in such amazement, of their professionalism . They had this all down to the bare minimal of what we owned . I am so grateful , to this crew who took this huge burden off my shoulders ! Each day I'd take a peek and was in shock of how quickly the rms where being emptied out here ! And i knew there was alot of stuff to pack! Contracted Bridges Bros. to unload PODS and move household goods into storage unit. During the unloading the crew recklessly set a custom bed headboard against the side of the POD and then hit it when unloading the POD sending it crashing to the pavement. The damage is irreparable (as confirmed by Bridges Bros. owner). I attempted to reach an amenable resolution with the owner. He refused any responsibility of his crew and became argumentative. The business also attempted to put through an additional charge to my credit card for additional time beyond the invoice amount without notifying me. This additional credit card charge is in dispute. A key attribute of a reputable business is how they treat their customers and resolve disputes (especially when at fault). In this regard this business failed. read more

What an incredibly hard working crew that helped us move this week! Eric and his team were professional and friendly. They managed to move our belongings from a 3,000 square foot house in Massachusetts to NH in a single day. They put in a fantastic effort disassembling and then re-assembling our furniture. They were very helpful in giving us guidance on how to pack along with the proper boxes and packing materials, which made a daunting task seem more manageable. Great Moving Company! Just moved into our new home in Stratham and Bridges Bros did not disappoint. Our movers were Chris, Dean, Cale and Sarin and they were very professional and STRONG! They used all of the space in their trucks very efficiently, fitting all of the storage perfectly into each one. They made every stop we requested and made every accommodation possible. We have moved twice now within a year, and as my husband is an equine veterinarian with a resident business, moving is a challenge. This company was the absolute best! From our first contact with the owner, Jeremy and Sue in the office, we were guided expertly along to an efficient and painless estimate and move. Eric's team - Jimmy, JD and Kody, arrived early and were so efficient they even left our beds till last, drove to our new home and set up the beds so we could sleep there for the night. The arrived early the next day - moving every single article into their proper room or space with smiles and laughter between them. We later sold an extra bed frame and all the hardware was neatly adhered to the frame so we wouldn't lose a single bolt. Bridge Bros Movers were recommended by our realtor and now we know why. Worst moving experience ever! The movers were apparently inexperienced and not equipped for the job. They moved a refrigerator that was in original packaging that was clearly marked- do not lay down on side. It was loaded laying down on a small flat dolly which rolled off pavement to a rocky grassy area and rolled off to the ground. The refrigerator had many dents, damaged interior drawers and shelves. They refused to take responsibility or even discuss the issues. read more

We hired Bridges Brothers to move in-laws from their home into an assisted living facility. We found the company to be organized and honest, with reasonable fees. He was very short and abrupt and told us many a time that our week was the busiest of the year and we need to get scheduled in the next day or two if we wanted to proceed. We used Bridges Bros to move from Portsmouth to Biddeford, Maine. They were on time, everybody knew what they were doing, and they didn't break or lose anything. The only thing that went wrong was they showed up without wardrobe boxes so they hung everything inside the truck, moved it into boxes later, and it took us a little while to get the closets sorted out when we moved in. I've been through enough moves to know that this is pretty good. We got bids from several companies & theirs was competitive with the others. They won the deal because we had a personal recommendation from a friend who had used them before and I'd use them again. read more

In the order presented to us: A quote...Jim walked through our home and wrote a quote for $1,7000.00. Included a truck and 3 men and 8-1/2 hours. He also included in the quote 14 garment boxes. Moving day; a different guy shows up with 2 young energetic men. They began to load our stuff. Lots of story telling going on. Okay they're on they're dime. Then a little further into the move the new guy announces that we will run "over our time" What??? you gave me a quote...nope. That was an estimate-read it! really??? So now the move is done. They arrived at my home at 8:45 AM and were done by 5:15 PM. They also went to lunch on their way to the new home. I figured we are good at $1,700. Nope. "We begin our time when we leave the shop then get back to the shop" plus the 14 garment boxes @$9.75 each. REALLY! those were written into the quote. Not included. So now the bill is $2,133.00. That's $433.00 over the quote! They did a good job moving us. All 3 were very energetic and careful, 5 stars. The bait and switch on cost- 0 stars. read more
