I finally found one I could work with (paint & pretty up) for $50. Got a friend to help me with the pick up of said armoire. So far, so good. Another friend helped with the getting it upstairs when we got it home. I'll be the first to admit my stairway isn't easy. It takes two turns and the one at the top is tricky. Well that second turn was the one that my two helpers declared themselves stuck. They decided, I disagreed, that it would be best to leave the armoire on the 3' x 3' landing that is the second turn. I tried to veto that but I was outvoted. Now it was crunch time. I had to either find a professional to help or live with squeezing past this armoire that took up half the landing. I started calling. Mover A charges a 2 hour minimum - $230 (ouch!). Mover B, similar story $180. I started to think about whether I could live with this armoire there. Nope. I was at the desperate point calling/emailing every friend and leaving messages with other movers. Then Donny at Bradford Movers called me back. Was I a little worried when he quoted me only $50? Truth be told, yes I was. Mom always taught me you get what you pay for. But I was desperate. He told me he couldn't come out that day - reasonable - but could come the next morning at 8AM. The boss showed up with three guys this morning, early even. They were in and out in about 6 minutes. It took them a whopping 4 minutes to get it up and into the room. So my bargain armoire cost more than I wanted but Bradford Movers got me out of a jam and I thank them for that.

I've moved about 5-6 times over the years, and rate Brave the best mover I've experienced by far. Firstly, they were the best value cost wise by far. I called most of the "top reviewed" movers on Yelp, if it saves folks time to see who had the best price, and it was Brave. Secondly, communication was excellent! Very prompt, very very professional, and thorough. Lastly, they did an amazing job with the move. My move was in a high rise and consisted of a bunch of furniture, boxes, etc and was a pretty standard 1BR Apt move. They were careful, thoughtful, fast, and went above and beyond with the job. What more can you ask for? I also recommended them to the management in my high rise. I generally don't write a lot of Yelp reviews, but given how stressful moving can be if you are in need of a mover, cannot recommend Brave enough!

They were kind, professional, efficient, and punctual! My only word of advice would be to the front office, they didn't seem to provide enough communication to the movers and they were short on packing supplies and just how much they had to pack (to be fair they still did an amazing job which is why I'm still giving 5 stars). I would've preferred a phone call as opposed to filling out the app so there wouldn't be as much miscommunication between the movers and the job they had to do. Also, while it wasn't an issue, I got an email about 18 hours before our move asking if they could reschedule it for 2 hours earlier. I would've preferred to be informed much sooner and not just through email but it worked out just fine. Overall I would absolutely hire them again and you should too!
