We really wanted to try this place. This location serves a tomahawk steak and we wanted to try what else they had to offer prior to actually going to order it the next time. Place wasn't too busy they weekday we went. Our server started off fantastic. He got our drink orders to us quickly. Appetizers came out on time. We waited a bit for the entrees, as my husband did order the lamb chops. After finishing our entrees we wait almost 20 to 30 minutes before our server returned. No idea where he or any of the other staff disappeared to. Drinks were good. Food presentation was bad, but food tasted fine. The bruschetta just didn't look amazing but all the elements were there. The crab cakes were good but why did it have beans as a topping? My pasta dish was good, but the server asked if I wanted parmesan on top I said just a little and he literally dumped a spoonful of grated cheese on top of the pasta. It was fine, but for the amount you were paying this isn't it. Been to better places with better food and service at that price point. Won't be returning for the tomahawk.

Sebby's has a bit of everything and the quality is amazing. We were quickly seated without reservations on a Friday at 5:30, very friendly server. We were told that appetizers and cocktails were 50% off before 6 so we ordered the pork belly and a couple cocktails. Tasty pork belly with some chili flakes on the side to make them as spicy as you like, and I love spicy! Ordered the filet Diane and the steak had a nice crust and the sauce was delicious. The interior has been fixed up since Nash's was here, much more classy now. They have two bars but I was told the back bar may become a quality wine cellar in the future. Looking forward to seeing this place grow and continue to improve! Just what Visalia needed a quality Italian/ Steakhouse with a nice bar.

Absolutely fantastic experience all around. The owner was so lovely and was so hands on. Food had amazing flavor and was made to perfection. Came out quickly too! Drinks were delicious as well. The restaurant itself was so lovely especially with local art on display and for sale, very community forward. All the staff was very sweet. Would absolutely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience!

Absolutely AMAZING. Had my son's grad dinner here on Friday with a party of 13. Food was outrageously DELICIOUS. Huge portions and very flovorable . service was on point. Owner was the most attentive & kindest and made sure our dinner was Far more than our expectations and our experience was nothing less than PERFECTION.His smile and character is contagious!!!! He executed EXCELLENT service. Our drinks was made well and not watered down He served us with love and made us feel like family. This is now our favorite spot for all occasions. Please do yourself a favor and stop by. Sebbys will definitely not disappoint.!!!

New owners!! It's not Nash's anymore... that's the first question I asked haha. These owners are from little Italy and brought some of their dishes over from that menu if you miss the Italian YUM. Immediately upon walking in we noticed the decor was just gorgeous, no more rickety set up tables & chairs, plus bad food! Sebbys GM, Jason, happened to be there & showed us how they completely remodeled the bars, seating, and decor. It feels upscale and classy now. My husband and I sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks . If you like watermelon, you need to try the watermelon lemon drop! Kennedy scored with this one. I asked her for a tahin rim and it tasted just like a delicious Mexican candy shot, but more lemony. Sebbys also has brunch, dinner specials for two, and they will have a DJ & nightlife after 10pm on Fri & Sat nights. Stop in! It's totally worth a try.

I was shocked this place wasn't popping off for brunch. The food was absolutely amazing! We had a large table reservation so I was able to order off the full menu and had the chicken piccata and it was AMAZING! My friends got the charcuterie board, steak and eggs, chilaquiles, lemon blueberry French toast, artichoke dip, braised pork belly... we were all so impressed! Ice cold champagne , non alcoholic options, and our server was very attentive and had great suggestions! We will definitely be back!

We called the day of to make reservations at 6 pm for a birthday celebration dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately. Warm bread was delivered to the table. We brought our wine from home - $15 corkage fee. We had trout, short ribs and a steak. (These ranged in price from $35 to $39 per entree.) All were served with vegetables and all were fantastic. The birthday girl was brought ice cream with caramel swirled on it for a dessert. Fabulous place! Some people dressed up, some were casual. There's a full bar on the west side of the restaurant.

I went to Sebby's for a birthday celebration with my BFFs. We chose Sebby's after seeing all the photos of what looked like fabulous drinks and food. The owner waited on us and he was amazing. We had the best appetizers, drinks, entrees, and service. Highly recommend that you consider going to this restaurant! You will not be disappointed!

We love the Rosa's in Bakersfield, so we took it as a sign this restaurant would be just as good. Come to find out, the owners are related and they all thought it would be a good idea to name their restaurants after their grandmother, Rosa. They are also related to the Rosa's in Pismo. Luigi is the owner in Visalia and he takes great pride in his Rosa's. We came on a night where some things were not working as expected; however, Luigi was all over taking care of everything. He was honest about what was going on. As a diner, that allows me to have more grace than if I were sitting there trying to figure out what was happening. There is nothing that should keep you from having a great meal at Rosa's because the owner and staff will be tending to every detail to make it a great night out. I really like the layout of the restaurant. There is a lot of seating. You can come on your own or with a large group. There is a bar with individual seating in the back. The food was what we expected. We shared a plate of veal and chose the pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was very good and I am glad we chose to split the meal. The bread they bring to the table was perfect and I loved it. We overdid it a little by also ordering the cheesy bread, but it was just too good. We had a nice conversation with the owner as we were leaving and look forward to visiting again.

The upstairs feels like a classic restaurant, while the downstairs has a cool speakeasy vibe that makes the experience even more unique. We ordered an appetizer, pizza, pasta, and the pistachio cake, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza had the perfect amount of cheese for that satisfying cheese pull. The pasta wasn't just one-dimensional. Everything was perfectly seasoned, tasted fresh, and the quality really stood out. The pistachio cake was the perfect ending to the meal. It had just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the distinct pistachio flavor to shine through, complemented by a subtle hint of coconut that made it even more delicious. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

Which I am…read morepersonally obsessed with, because nothing gives me a baseline level of panic quite like having to make awkward eye contact with a server every four minutes just to beg for a refill. So having a massive jar of soda already right in front of me? Huge win. Now, moving on to the slightly traumatizing part: they did not bring out bread to the table. Excuse me? I'm sorry, but if I am sitting down for Italian, table bread is not an optional courtesy--it is a fundamental human right. And it became an even bigger issue when my fettuccine arrived, because the portion size was... let's just say aggressively small for a dinner entree. I was expecting a meal, not a decorative sample. However... it was infuriatingly good. They make their own pasta fresh in-house, and the texture was honestly undeniable. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza, and he literally declared--with complete, uncharacteristic enthusiasm--that it was hands-down the best Margherita pizza he has ever gotten. So, massive points there. What was not a massive point, however, was the subterranean seating situation. We were escorted downstairs into the basement, which was pitch black. But more importantly: the stairs are completely unlit. I'm sorry, but they are actively asking to get sued. It is a litigious nightmare waiting to happen. Someone is going to take one wrong step in the dark, tumble down that staircase, and own the entire restaurant by next Tuesday. They are practically begging for a lawsuit. That being said... despite the pitch-black staircase of death and the tragic lack of dinner rolls, overall? I really liked it. The food completely won me over, and I would definitely go back. I will just be bringing a flashlight and my own emergency focaccia next time.

A Local Gem for Pizza Lovers…read more If you are looking for great pizza locally, The Planing Mill is absolutely it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they take their craft seriously. Between the freshly made dough and the perfect char from the wood-fired grill, the taste is consistently top-tier. There's nothing worse than a pizza that is too wet or undercooked, but The Mill nails the bake every time. The Highlights: * The Food: We went for The Kitchen Sink for our date night pie, and as always, it didn't disappoint. Well, the ad blitz on TV regarding Calabrian summer enticed me back. I'm glad I went. The Calabrian dishes, all looked good, and I and a friend settled for the rigatoni with sausage. The sauce was delicious and the dish overall was wonderful. My wife chose a chicken scampi. I had never heard of chicken scampi, but it too was delicious. We ordered the appetizer Lasagna Frittata, and although it came between the soups and the entrée, it served as a good side. It was absolutely delicious. One side was Italian meat saucy - the other creamy and cheesy. It could have made an entrée by itself. Our soups were good, the breadsticks were just as good as ever - fresh and warm, and the handful of chocolate mince that Alec brought over as we finished made a nice after dinner minty moment. I'm sorry I forgot to take pictures of our meals, but I did get some of the Calabrian items pictured on a table card. Hope that helps. The service from our waiter,, Alec, was tremendous. The fries arrived piping hot, crispy, and seasoned well. Paired with a side of their ranch, they were easily the best part of the plate. Final Verdict: If you're going for the atmosphere and a cold beer, it's a win. But if you're craving a high-quality sandwich, you might want to look elsewhere until they step up their bread game.

Walk in and be swept away to old Hollywood glamour with white linen table clothes and service personnel that take pride in the way they look and the way they do their jobs. For brunch, I ordered the steak and potatoes, and it was sooo good. Everything was cooked really well and had great flavor, definitely felt like a more upscale brunch compared to your typical spots. One of my favorite parts though is the pastries they bring out -- such a nice touch and always super good. I also tried their cappuccino and it was just okay, nothing amazing but not bad either. The service here is always amazing, which honestly makes such a difference. I think the brunch is better than dinner, oops hot take! But everyone is super attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels classy but still comfortable. Definitely a solid spot for a nicer brunch or dinner, I'll for sure keep coming back.
