What I like most about ST (specifically Windham) is when I sit in the waiting area and listen / see…read morethe interaction between staff and customers, I can just feel how customer-centric ST is. There is great knowledge and expertise of products and services, things to think about, how things are done, what's really important, and others. It's not all about selling the higher price products and services, it's about what choices the customer has and the pros and cons of those choices. It REEKS of integrity! OK, the service took a little longer than expected, but there was good communication and customer courtesy because of time needed.

The prices are fair enough for most things if not competitive. The store is located on a very busy main road, Which can be a bit of pain to get out of. Getting into it, however, is easy enough. Calling them can be a pain as the number on almost all their websites number goes to their tire service department, not to their main desk. Which is something I would think they would fix. Because it must be an Aggravation for customers and employees alike. Aside from that, the employees are knowledgeable kind and very helpful. I have not bought tires here since they were bought out. However, others have and they say that the deals are good. So budget shopping is an option. A bit of a tight parking lot however it's never super busy so that should not be a problem. As I slowly rolled into a nearby parking lot, I immediately called AAA for a tow (these guys are the local AAA towing company). I didn't know what the issue was but my car was overheating and the engine light had gone on. Arghhhhh!!! It was 4:30 on Sunday and I knew, that in Maine, there are no late night car repair shops (I'm from Ohio where you can find someone to work on your car until midnight). I opened the hood and sure enough the belt to my water pump had broken (later I learned the water pump had gone bad causing the belt to split). So I sat there and waited. A series of events happened that don't pertain to this business, but eventually the tow truck driver showed up (I think his name was Bobby?) and he helped me out. We ended up taking my car to their repair shop. I was going on faith that I would have a good experience and that they could get my car fixed ASAP, the next day, so we could hit the road. I knew nothing about these guys other than they were close local and that "Bobby" worked for them. Well it wasn't quite ASAP, but they did get my car running the next day and they did a great job making sure it was road worthy again. I had a good experience and would return to them for more mechanic needs.
