Having my SUV repaired at Portland Collision was an absolute nightmare. The repair was a disaster…read more I called the shop and one of the managers agreed to look at the repair. Once they saw the shoddiness of the repair, they seemed embarrassed and promised to make it right. After another week with the SUV they were unable to produce quality work. I informed my insurance company of the awful repair and Portland Collision's failure to correct it. They agreed to have Moody's in Scarborough estimate repairs. Moody's had to replace parts that were not even damaged in the accident because Portland Collision tried to force parts together improperly. They even had to replace parts Portland Collision replaced. Both taillights had been broken, they reused the old decals, painted over damage on the bumper, and glued broken parts instead of replacing them. Portland Collision should not be in business and I hope my insurance company drops them as a preferred shop. They lack attention to detail and try to get you out of the door by saying their work is guaranteed. Guaranteed or not, there is no excuse for the bad repair work completed by this shop. I would never trust Portland Collision to repair a vehicle.

Brought my car in a few days ago with a minor scratch issue. I have a Porsche which some places…read moredon't want to deal with. They resolved the fix that day, and the customer service was amazing. Based on my experience, I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks for your help!!!

I brought my Tesla to Moody's Collision for repairs, and when I picked it up, the first thing I…read morenoticed was a large crack in the glass roof that absolutely wasn't there when I dropped it off. I immediately called the garage the same day and took photos to document the damage. Here's the kicker: two separate adjusters confirmed there was no roof damage noted on the intake forms when the car arrived. Even Moody's own intake documentation doesn't mention a crack. That should speak volumes--if the damage existed when I brought the car in, it would've been documented. But it wasn't. When I spoke with "Chris," who handles Teslas at the shop, I explained that I didn't think I should be responsible for a deductible on damage clearly caused while the car was in their care. Instead of having a conversation, I was dismissed with a sarcastic "sounds about right," as if my concern wasn't worth his time, and I was just going this the money. It felt incredibly disrespectful. This isn't just about a cracked roof--it's about accountability. Accidents happen, but when a business won't even acknowledge the possibility that they caused damage while your car is in their hands, that's a serious red flag. I'm now forced to pursue legal options to recover the cost of the damage. If you care about your vehicle--and being treated with basic respect--think twice before trusting it to Moody's Collision in Bangor ME.
