As I slowly rolled into a nearby parking lot, I immediately called AAA for a tow (these guys are the local AAA towing company). I didn't know what the issue was but my car was overheating and the engine light had gone on. Arghhhhh!!! It was 4:30 on Sunday and I knew, that in Maine, there are no late night car repair shops (I'm from Ohio where you can find someone to work on your car until midnight). I opened the hood and sure enough the belt to my water pump had broken (later I learned the water pump had gone bad causing the belt to split). So I sat there and waited. A series of events happened that don't pertain to this business, but eventually the tow truck driver showed up (I think his name was Bobby?) and he helped me out. We ended up taking my car to their repair shop. I was going on faith that I would have a good experience and that they could get my car fixed ASAP, the next day, so we could hit the road. I knew nothing about these guys other than they were close local and that "Bobby" worked for them. Well it wasn't quite ASAP, but they did get my car running the next day and they did a great job making sure it was road worthy again. I had a good experience and would return to them for more mechanic needs.

After waiting over an hour in the very narrow breakdown lane I found out that AAA had given Maine Towing the incorrect information. At about that time Mary called me from Maine Towing. She was horrified that we had been on that dangerous part of 295 and she had one of the drivers called out immediately to come to our aide. When I got home, I received a call from Mary just checking in to make sure I was home safely. That personal touch is what makes, for me, an Excellent Business and one that deserves many customers. Writing on behalf of my mother…read more A very unfortunate incident with a 4x4 post just below the sight line of the car left the two doors on the passenger side of her car badly dented and scraped up. The cheapest estimate from a body shop was north of $4000. Autosy Auto Spa came to the rescue! For much cheaper, they were able to make the car look so much better - for nearly a tenth of the price they did 80% of the work. They were honest, forthcoming, and did incredibly detailed work. They have earned my mom's business for the rest of her life, no doubt. I would recommend them for anyone with detailing, scratch repair, or paint matching needs in a heartbeat. Go visit them and let them know what you need. They will tell you the truth and do good work for fair prices. TL;DR: Autosy Auto Spa is awesome!

They inspected and gave me the option, the brakes had 10,000 miles left on them!! So come back in 10k or if they wanted they were prepared to change them if I wanted to. I'll be back in 10k with high confidence they will treat me right not looking to squeeze all my dollars from me. I'll do a follow up with their work - which I suspect is top notch!
