I'm upset for not reviewing them earlier. I've been going here for about two+ years now. Anytime I'm in this area Seba-Seba is a must. I come by to pick up either empanadas, buñuelos (my personal favorite) or a chorizo. You cannot forget to wash it down with a colombiana. I'm not a native Spanish speaker but I do like to practice my español . And they're patient with me. "Dame un empanada de queso por favor" :) **I only practice when it's not busy, it can get busy real quick and I don't want to hold anyone up.** All in all this is the spot to be. I like this location better than the other one on 37th Ave. I haven't been to the one on Roosevelt.

I love Colombian bread. I always visit Sebas Sebas to get my almohabana is delicious, The bread is not hard. Best place to get a Colombian coffee.

I've never in my life experiences dry Colombian bread.

Never had dried Colombian bread. I was so disappointed in their bread I couldn't believe it. I've been having Colombian bread since I was born and this was just a disgrace

$2.25 bread that suddenly went up 25 cents when paid

My mom went in for bread and the price on the sign clearly stated $2.25. Then when she went to pay, the lady gave my mom an attitude and told her it wasn't $2.25 it was $2.50. That because since a week ago the price "had gone up". If the price went up why they had the $2.25 sign on it? Ridiculous!

Honestly? I love Seba Seba. I really like their menu and the food. Whenever I eat breakfast, I usually order #2 which is Calentado with steak. That's my favorite from their menu, but today i wanted to try something different. The chicken ala franchise is one of my favorites from their lunch & dinner menu. I know a lot of places make it, but trust me there's something special about the way they make it at Seba Seba. Parking isn't much of a problem ,but I guess if you drive having to pay for it can be annoying. The location is good. There are a lot of small stores around and a couple of pharmacies around this location. They have other Colombian restaurant around, but trust me when it comes to taste, quality and price, Seba Seba is the best one. If you want to enjoy a nice meal or breakfast then Seba Seba is the right place.

I love Seba Seba. This location is nearest to my Queens apartment. It's also has the smallest menu and limited bakery items in comparison to the other locations. I was passing by tonight while my boyfriend was driving me back into Manhattan to visit my brother. I said to my bf, STOP! When I saw Seba Seba. The street parking sucks there so I ran out of the car and into the store. I ordered DOS (2) CHICHARRON DE GUAYABA. Omg it's my favorite! It has a crunchy pastry exterior because of the sugar that is sprinkled into it. The Guava paste inside is yummo. The pastry is light, crispy and flakey. It looks like it would be hard and thick but looks are deceiving. It's only $1.25 which is my favorite part! This pastry I dream about sometimes! Soooooo gooooooood. Wish I had some black coffee right now to go with it...excuse me...time to make coffee...adios!

Squeeze some lemon juice in these babies. Yessss.

Service was okay and they didn't have any queso fresco for the arepas. But the arepa de choclo was delicious as usual.

I decided to try their Coconut Pandan cake which was enjoyable except for the jelly they had in the middle. The cake itself was pretty moist and the cream had a nice Pandan flavor. The Portuguese egg tart is what you would expect from one of these bakery's, very basic but it was nice and flaky. The milk tea was also okay, we asked for less sugar so it was not too sweet. We also got the sesame mochi to go and this was delicious! Definitely the best thing I bought from this bakery. The sesame paste was nice and strong but not too gritty and the mochi was super soft. There were lots of seats and tables for patrons to sit. Notice less foot traffic at this store.

A friend recommended it to me, and I've already ordered two birthday cakes from here. The tiramisu cake was absolutely delicious, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I didn't even know you could customize a tiramisu cake since it's usually served the traditional way, but they made it exactly how I wanted. As someone who loves tiramisu, this really stood out. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake, and it was just as impressive. The buttercream was so good , light, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it, and there wasn't a single slice left. The owner's son (I believe) was super helpful, he really takes the time to understand what you want and brings it to life perfectly. I've also tried their croissants, which are huge and delicious, and the hero bread is excellent too. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash.I'll definitely be ordering all my cakes from here moving forward!

It has actually been a while since I've had it and my friend made a special request specifically for strawberry shortcake for her 50th birthday. Du Bois for the first place that came to mind. Took a quick look online from pics from previous customers and was surprised to see the number of different designs they can do now. I picked this pink flower one that the owner made out of fondant and it was so pretty and exceeded my expectations. There was no additional charge at all. Back in the days....40 years ago, there was one style I remember getting and it was white cream with strawberries. Now there's so many you can pick from. The birthday girl was so happy with the design. I ordered a 20 person cake. There were 2 choices-round or sheet cake. Round is $60 which is what I opted for since I thought it looked prettier and the sheet cake is $50. The round cake actually came out very tall but gorgeous. Harder to cut too since it was taller. The owner was so nice. He custom made the top of the cake box to make sure the cake fit and doesn't get damaged. The fresh cream on the cake is so good. Not too sweet and very light. Perfect with the strawberries. The cake part was moist and yummy. I forgot how much I love this cake. All the nostalgic memories of eating it when I was younger came back. Honestly, I think it's even better than I remember. And the price was so reasonable for such a beautifully decorated cake.

Their hot milk tea is a cozy, comforting drink that warms the soul. Fay Da's milk tea may still hold the title for my favorite, but Yi Mei's version is a very close contender. The sponge cake? A pleasant surprise. Despite some folks claiming the bread isn't fresh, I've never really had a negative experience with them. But then again, I only get the sponge cake and I can't differentiate fresh vs not fresh between them (I'll just assume that if it's NOT fresh, I would have been able to tell). For ethnic places like Yi Mei, I don't put much weight on service standards. Comparing them to American restaurants would be like comparing apples to oranges. What truly matters is the authenticity and the food quality, and Yi Mei nails both. So, if you find yourself in the area with a rumbling stomach, swing by Yi Mei Bakery.
