I'm upset for not reviewing them earlier. I've been going here for about two+ years now. Anytime I'm in this area Seba-Seba is a must. I come by to pick up either empanadas, buñuelos (my personal favorite) or a chorizo. You cannot forget to wash it down with a colombiana. I'm not a native Spanish speaker but I do like to practice my español . And they're patient with me. It's been a while since I've had food from this place. I remember the owner who used to have the restaurant there before it became Seba Seba. One of the things I was glad they kept was the style of the Cuban sandwich. Until today I ordered a pick up for a Cuban sandwich and I was disappointed. I guess it's preference but I preferred the thin pork you used to put on it. Instead of the big layer of pork with the fat. Takes away from the sandwich and the fries downgraded big time. Seba Seba has my heart. I'm not quite sure why their Yelp page only has 3 stars because it's one of the best Colombian bakeries in Jackson Heights. There is a reason why they have three locations! My favorite location is the one on Northern Blvd. $20 goes a looking way here. Unfortunately they do not sell mini empanadas anymore, super tragic as those were a HIT. Honestly? I love Seba Seba. I really like their menu and the food. Whenever I eat breakfast, I usually order #2 which is Calentado with steak. That's my favorite from their menu, but today i wanted to try something different. The chicken ala franchise is one of my favorites from their lunch & dinner menu. I know a lot of places make it, but trust me there's something special about the way they make it at Seba Seba. Parking isn't much of a problem ,but I guess if you drive having to pay for it can be annoying. The location is good. There are a lot of small stores around and a couple of pharmacies around this location. They have other Colombian restaurant around, but trust me when it comes to taste, quality and price, Seba Seba is the best one. The reason for the 3 stars is because the service I believe is a bit slow. We love our Colombian pastries and I honestly like them from all the Seba Seba's. I love Seba Seba. This location is nearest to my Queens apartment. It's also has the smallest menu and limited bakery items in comparison to the other locations. I was passing by tonight while my boyfriend was driving me back into Manhattan to visit my brother. I said to my bf, STOP! When I saw Seba Seba. The street parking sucks there so I ran out of the car and into the store. I ordered DOS (2) CHICHARRON DE GUAYABA. Omg it's my favorite! It has a crunchy pastry exterior because of the sugar that is sprinkled into it. The Guava paste inside is yummo. The pastry is light, crispy and flakey. It looks like it would be hard and thick but looks are deceiving. It's only $1.25 which is my favorite part! This pastry I dream about sometimes! Soooooo gooooooood. I went here for some dessert with my boyfriend and our mutual friend. My friend got some guayaba thing (I can't really remember what he got but it looked like a ball shaped bread with some fruit filling I'm assuming) and my boyfriend and I shared the tres leches and flan; BOTH of which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh my goodness, they were both so delicious! Annndddd, their prices were great! The flan slice filled the container so I definitely felt like I got my money's worth and more and it tasted "different" in a good way. The tres leches was equally delicious. However, the reason I took one star away was because of the way the cashier packaged and handled the two cakes. She literally put the flan container into a white paper bag haphazardly and flan juice was dripping out of the bag. She then proceeded to put the guayaba, the tres leches and flan into a plastic bag unevenly. Like, do you not know that the flan had a bunch of flan juice in it and that the tres leches had a layer of liquidy cream on the bottom? It was almost like she just chucked all three items into the bag and looked VERY careless. Even when my friend asked her where the other locations of Seba Seba were NICELY, she rudely spurted out the addresses and didn't even bother to look at him or smile and looked like she just wanted him to leave. Needless to say, by the time I got to the car, there was flan juice ALL OVER the inside of the bag...what a mess. My boyfriend and I hate half of the flan in the car so we wouldn't lose more "juice". When we got home, the tres leches liquid cream had basically ALL spilled out into the white plastic bag. So in conclusion, I haven't tried everything inside the bakery but I can say that the tres leches and flan are at the top of my list if anyone decides to stop by for some dessert. My friend really liked his guayaba thing too. Oh, and my boyfriend and mutual friend are both Hispanic so if they say the Spanish desserts really are good, I believe them. Seba Seba has hands down the best recipe for almojabana of any Colombian bakery. this particular location always has them freshly baked, any time of day. In addition, they always have authentic Colombian hot chocolate ready to go--it's the perfect combination when you're looking for something sweet and cheesy. You can never go wrong with sweet and cheesy. The service is always prompt and the ladies have exception customer service skills. I've never had a bad interaction with any of them in the 5+ years I've been going to them. They also sell ready made dough for bunuelos which is a big plus during the holiday season. Parking is a little annoying but that's not really they fault and it's well worth the hassle. I go there for 2 things - the pandebono and the bunuelos. My family goes to this location every weekend and orders around a dozen of each. Seriously. In fact, I just had 2 pandebonos today :) I've tried other Colombian bakeries near Jackson Heights but they just don't match up. My way of eating it (I don't care if it's not authentic - I'm a Chinese girl eating Colombian baked goods, so my cred is already gone) is I put it in the toaster for 2-3 mins so the crust is a little hardened; just a bit. The first bite is HEAVEN! The slightly hardened outside does not dry out the bread and the inside is moist and still chewy with just the right amount of cheese flavor. Pair that with my Cafe Bustelo and I've just set myself up for an amazing rest of the day! I would give it 5 stars but their coffee is pretty weak and tasteless and while I've tried other baked goods, it just doesn't grab me the way pandebonos or bunenlos do. And while I hope this is not true, my mother noted while eating her bunuelos today that it seems the quality has gone down a bit. Hopefully this is not true. I will be so sad, so, so sad. read more

Been here before it's a very clean place staff is okay not the friendliest but they are okay. It's a bakery with food to eat. They don't have a very big sitting selection so don't think you'll come here and eat comfy. It's a wall bench with stools. It gets pretty packed everyone here speaks Spanish people are some what friendly mostly locals so it's nice if you are Colombian and wanna just chill and have a quick bite and keep it going. This bakery is killer for a quick grab when you're hungry. Love getting my small coffee and cheese danish (which is soft and just the perfect sweet) once in a while. I would recommend their milk mango smoothie which is so so so refreshing on a hot day. Price is Nothing that expensive, that's all there is to it. Service their is good, and even though they don't really communicate me with in English, its not difficult and fairly fast service. The place is never empty, but never too full either. I went in here yesterday based on generally good Yelp reviews. I looked around at the admittedly tasty looking options, saw empanadas in the hot case and said, "Oh, can I get an empanada?" The taller woman behind the counter looked me dead in the face and said, "No". I gestured toward a pile of what were obviously empanadas (I looked at pictures on here to confirm that they were, in fact, empanadas. I have also spent time in South America and know what an empanada looks like..) and asked, "Oh, those aren't empanadas?" "No," she repeated. "OK, can I get a.....pan de queso?" There seems to be no form of organization in terms of ordering; there is no sort of queue system in place; you walk in and hope that someone will notice you and take your order.
