Came here because to simply say it...I wanted BREAD! And not just any bread but fresh, soft , doughy and maybe a little bit cheesy...this place delivered on all those things! Service was good and no fuss. I had texted my friend who I know could recommend exactly what to get, and all I had to do was show the cashier my phone, and she was able to deliver me the hot baked goods just as the phone stated, no questions asked and I appreciated that. I was in and out in a matter of five minutes and that included the wait time of ordering, getting my food and leaving. I didn't dine inside even though they had ample enough space to do so. Inside was well lit and clean. I would've stayed if I did not have to pay for parking, go here!

So quick, come here, before it's gone And get your Latin pastry on The street may smell like fishes But these goods are delicious How I love my Colombia Sazon! Lovely little Bakery with a super friendly woman running things and selling excellent cheap Colombian goods to the Latino Community. The chorizo and potatoes are satisfying and hearty and hefty and cheap - pretty much like your mother, and the sausage is thick and heavy AF - pretty much the way your mother describes mine.

I enjoyed my visit to Sazon Colombia. I find it crazy that I haven't been here yet. This was my first visit, and my coffee was strong and delicious. I even ordered rice and beans, and wow, they were sooo good. It was fun to use my high school Spanish to order our meal and also ask questions about the options available. The waitress was super patient with us as I did not appear fluent at all. I felt valued as a customer and also entranced by all the delicious aroma of breads and meals of others. I would definitely come again, but without my boss this time. The only downside is that it's a bit cozy, so if you move to the left or right, you can easily bump into others. There is seating, but as popular as it is, it's tough to find a spot with a large party.

Stopped in after working around the corner. Wonderful food and fast service. Lunch special (plato) included a meat (I chose grilled chicken), rice, and beans on a plate. Then you get a choice of soups (I took chicken soup), and they give you a small drink. The soup was phenomenal and full of flavor. I don't know what the drink was (was it tea? was it sugar cane?) but it was also incredible.

    Wow...a bit greasy?

I made a slight travel diversion en route to work and came upon Sazon Columbia located right at the corner of 90th street in my old neighborhood. This Columbian bakery was pretty busy so I quickly made an order for one cheese-filled Empanada and one Pan de Queso. As evident by the oil stained translucent brown paper bags holding each pastry, these pastries should be an occasional treat versus a breakfast staple. The Empanada was excellent and super rich. Cornmeal Empanada shell had a pleasant grainy texture and was really tasty as the cornmeal had a nice sweetness. However, the star was the delicious cheese filling inside! It was both salty and sweet and my palette couldn't help but think it was like a sweeter (and more crumbly) version of Halloumi cheese. The Pan de Queso was solid, but I doubt I would crave it. Most of the bread had a dry, slightly chalky/grainy texture, and it wasn't until you get into the semi-hollow center do you encounter a more moist and flavorful portion. Flavor was good as I could taste the incorporation of cheese into the bread dough, giving it a funky cheesey taste.

Meat is red, I think it's supposed to be darker than that.

Beef Empanadas looked like they weren't cooked well, they didn't taste like anything I've eaten before.
