Wow have times changed. I didn't know that desktop computers were dead. All I saw were laptops and I don't use laptops. I walked all the way in to the computer section looked around for a few, took a picture looked around for a few more thought maybe I would pick up some paper and walk straight out the door without even being greeted. Yes there were a few other people in the store but a store this big should have at least a greeter. Pretty much no reason to come here anymore unless I need a case of paper and that would take me literally 90 years to use. The usual high-priced ink cartridges but I don't blame them for that because there is a reason why they're expensive and that is because you get pigment-based colors that are waterproof instead of dye based ink which leaks hence the price difference. But they have plenty of those in stock.

Having come from sales and the service industry, I think that the emotional iq aspect could improve. I'm not giving this location a bad rating. I hope that my feedback can serve as a learning opportunity if you want. For example, I often have to find an associate to find something if there isn't one at the front by security. Sometimes, the staff will speak as if I am knowledgeable about tech and I hope the staff person can ask me what my knowledge of tech is first before processing. Value is fine. I asked him if he makes transfers between old laptop to a new laptops and he said yes. I asked what he charged and he said $100. I gave him my phone number and left both machines. I told him I wanted the new machine to look like the old machine and we agreed. I got there he had not done as I asked and wanted to charge me three times what he quoted. He said he had worked on it overnight! There were folders on the screen like the old machine but they were empty. Nothing was like the old machine, absolutely nothing. My Outlook had names but no addresses or emails. When I tried to discuss it with him he kept saying he did not understand. He tried to tell me it couldn't be done. I had to erase the new machine and get someone else to do the transfer which took him less than two hours. He is likely very good with hardward but he never should have taken on a software project that he knows nothing about it. He never should have taken on the project and he never should have charged more. He should have called me and admitted it was beyond his knowledge. I felt totally ripped off, he not only didn't help me he cost me MORE time and life energy. I should have known looking around his disorganized shop he was not the guy for my job. Sad because I wanted to support a small mom and pop shop.

So on a cold, non-rainy day, we took the kiddo there to see if it was any good. Keep in mind that it's reserved for the preschool during the week/business hours, but on the weekend, it was a nice change of scenery. They had a few play structures, on a mulch and rubberized area. Sure, parental guidance is required, and you really should have a "toddler" kiddo here... but for the kiddo, she enjoyed the slides, the "kitchen" and the tires. She being the expert of walking on narrow surfaces, I think enjoyed the areas like a balance beam master in training. If you have been everywhere, and you want a playground that is a nice scenery change, here's one more to add to the list. Also, nearby is Red Mill Burger, so there's that you could be eating, while your kiddo is playing to their heart's delight.
