She told me we'd be going to a park, but instead drove us to a muddy tree farm. Not only was this not to my taste, my younger daughter has a muscular disorder and CAN'T EVEN WALK on uneven ground. She kept falling down and was hysterical most of the time. At one point Jerrah said to her in a sing-songy voice, "oh, come on now, you can get up, it's so easy!" WHO SAYS THAT TO A DISABLED CHILD??? My younger daughter's hysterical, my older daughter's distraught that her beloved little sister is upset, I'm stressed, pissed off AND wearing high heels in the middle of a farm field and we're rushed through the entire shoot She mentioned the lighting would be really good in about 15 minutes (the "golden light" that's so pretty), then said she didn't want to wait that long and had to get home. She only took about 30 shots total, most of which were us seated on a filthy blanket in a dirty field. Owing to all this, our pictures were absolutely terrible and a compete waste of $350.

I drove by this place recently and decided to take a glance and pulled up the class schedule. I was…read moreso surprised to find a class that would work for me, prices were high, but the location and concept sounded like such fun. I was able to score a Black Friday sale and opted to check it out. I often take my partner to classes like this, but since it sounded so intimate and it would be my kind of people I opted to go by myself and still had a great time. I guess it opened about a year ago, but I had not heard anything about it until I happened to drive by and I am in Edmonds all the time. This venue is so cute on the inside with plenty of easy street parking on a week night. I appreciated the check in beverage and snack while we waited for everyone to get there and get started. There are alcoholic options available for purchase and I must say this does make this class slightly superior to some others that do not offer these type of beverage options. They also give you an apron to wear so you don't have to stress too much about wearing something appropriate for cooking. The huge table for 12, allows for great views of everything and really gives you a chance to interact with your seat mates if you are into that kind of thing. This place is big so you don't feel like you are confined to your seat in a claustrophobic room like some other class room settings. The class I took was My Big Fat Vegan Dinner, I have taken lots of vegan cooking classes, but none quite as fancy as this. I appreciate that they show you all the ingredients ahead of time and give you a hand out with the recipes. We even sampled some of the vegan feta ahead of time, vegan butter was also present. Its a full meal experience, so you socialize, cook and eat. Our class was taught by a local chef and we learned a lot about him and his philosophies on cooking. We all helped with the prep, with some people taking on more intensive jobs and others just helping with the cutting. We learned quite a bit about different ways to chop things, even made a stock with the leftover cuttings. I absolutely loved the pita bread we made, who knew it was so easy. The pickles were delicious and this is definitely something I am planning to make at home in the future. I've never even had vegan spanakopita before. Everything was tasty and I certainly left full. The dessert we made was even served with 2 kinds of vegan ice creams. We were also lucky enough to take home some leftovers which made for a delicious lunch the next day. I've been telling everyone I know about this in the hopes that they will continue to add vegan friendly classes, but even if you prefer different kinds of food you should totally check this out. I am already eying Vegan in the Spring and trying to convince myself to sign up.

My only complaint would be that they make a big deal out of telling you free downloads on their website the next day and there's even a sticker on the photo card that they give you that says the same thing, free downloads. I went on their website the next day, scanned the event QR code and no free downloads. I'm not surprised that there was a charge because they are such good quality. Just stop telling people they will be free if they aren't. I even sent an email asking for an explanation but never received a reply.

Not only are they a family run business but they appear to care as much about their customers as they care about each other. Scott and Jennifer were professional, kind, and creative when it came to helping me host an event. They have a portable photo studio with a backdrop that allows them to take some really amazing high quality pictures. Every guest at the party was given a take home photograph to capture the evening. Props were plentiful and people had such a blast! I can't think of a better group of people to work with for weddings or parties.

We hired Adrian to be our wedding DJ and emcee on 8/12. He was excellent throughout the wedding…read moreprep and the day of the event. I would definitely hire him again for an event, personal or business, and recommend him to anyone. We met with Adrian initially at his home after scouring various DJ's in the Seattle area. He immediately put us at ease. He had all the right questions from being a DJ for many years at clubs and through his business. He gave us a worksheet to let him know exactly what songs we did and didn't want and the order of the ceremony and reception. A $200 deposit held the date. Adrian confirmed with the venue the details for his set-up and electrical needs and was already familiar with it having worked another wedding there previously. He arrived on time and was professional from start to finish. Adrian kept everything running on time and smoothly and there were absolutely no problems, not even little ones, throughout the entire day with him. He checked in with my husband and myself to see how things were going and if we wanted anything changed. I performed at our reception, and Adrian had the mic ready to go and was right on cue with our original music. I did a survey with our family and guests for any comments on Adrian. Everyone said he did an amazing job, was friendly, polite and knew what he was doing. Also, Adrian's pricing is very reasonable! He also has photo booth rentals available.

We really enjoyed working them and thought they did a wonderful job orchestrating the entire evening. They really go beyond DJing and MC the entire event. We really appreciated the special touches of the grand entrance during happy hour and how much thought and care they put into making the ambiance for the speeches and everything else just perfect. We would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a DJ!
