We always like eating at a Seasons 52 after discovering their sumptuous dishes in 2022. The changing seasonal menus give a nice periodic refresh. We stopped by for the happy hour and enjoyed the specials like the artichoke flatbread with a glass of wine. On a Monday night this location wasn't too crowded so we were seated right away. Parking in the nearby garage is free for two hours. Our server was attentive and kept our water glasses full and helped us with recommendations for the evening. The host or manager stopped by at one point to introduce himself and ask how everything was going. That was a nice touch. read more

The food was tasty. The house wine was great! The service was unremarkable, with our waitress disappearing for extended periods of time more than once. This was an important birthday dinner, my mother-in-law's 89th. We informed them when we made the reservation and again on site, yet the server and the manager did not show much interest. So demerits for that. My mother-in-law and I had the scallops. My wife had Alaskan butterfish. The scallops tasted great and I liked the broccolini that came with it. My mother-in-law found the broccolini to be too tough. The butterfish was very good, tender and light. We all shared a plate of the Brussel sprouts with bacon on top. It was decadent and tasty. They brought a cool dessert tower (see pic) that allowed us to have mini-desserts served in little parfait glasses, which I really appreciate. I am never in the mood for a large dessert, but will always enjoy something small. My mini-dessert was pecan pie and as a pecan pie aficionado I thought it was quite good! My wife had the chocolate cake, which she complained as being tasteless. My mother-in-law had the Key Lime pie and said it was great. We have now added Seasons 52 to our list of favorites! Our server has been an employee for over 11 years. She gave us great recommendations since this was our first visit. The restaurant was quaint and perfect for our date night. Knowing that our food was going to be cooked at a 600 degree temperature, we knew we weren't going to have to wait too long for our meals...and we didn't. My sea bass was cooked to perfection! My Honey's pork chop was delicious too! He stated that the grilled flavor permeated through the meat and was quite enjoyable. The service, ambiance, food, and wine were 10 out of 10! read more

The experience from start to finish was amazing and I really give five stars, but we were greeted by a host who was very pleasant and we sat at the bar since we all just came from FOX and just wanted something quick to eat and I must say it was the best service I've received in a long time. I also haven't been to a season 52 since Covid so it was refreshing to see the level of consistency still being there. Nothing that we had needed any changes. I celebrated my mom's birthday by coming into town and taking her to dinner. We really enjoyed our evening! We sat at a booth in the bar area, which was cozy and it had a little activity, but wasn't overly loud. Our server was very friendly. We ordered mixed drinks and shared two dishes - salmon on cedar plank and vineyard chicken. The chicken was delicious with mushroom and wine sauce over mashed potatoes. I wish the portion were a little bigger, but I get that it is calorie constrained (which I like). The salmon was cooked perfectly. The mini dessert selection is fun! She chose the pecan pie mini and I opted for the s'mores. We toasted with champagne and they brought out a candle in a shot glass with sand to blow out. My aunt and uncle rented a private room for their 50th anniversary dinner over the weekend. Even with our large group, service was on point. The flatbread we're good but the chicken on the one was a bit overcooked/dry. My salmon with potatoes and string beans was great. The corn soup appetizer was a delicious summer special. The desserts at the end really put me over the edge. I had to try a little of each one. Every bite was better than the last. The decor is a bit outdated/heavy looking for my taste. The space could use a facelift but if that's the vine they're going for, ignore this comment! Others might like it. I found it awkward that we had to walk through the kitchen to get to our room but nothing to really do about the layout of the restaurant. Stopped in for two dinners while in town. Simple, fresh ingredients creating fantastic food. I prefer the scallops over the sea bass, the wild rice is good. The mushroom flatbread is fantastic. Our first table we were seated at was very noisy so we asked to be moved to a booth, which was much better we could hear each other talk . Our waiter Walt was exceptional. He was attentive offered Great suggestions and was just a nice person. We ordered the artichoke and hummus appetizer. I really didn't like it, but my friend did you have to lie to eat artichoke to enjoy it I will say it was season nicely. I get the scallops every time and they are wonderful. I love this place!!! Its ambiance is beautiful and I get some of the best service. They have a happy hour $7 drinks and $7 appetizers. The sinks are good and so is the food. I love everything that I've ever had at Seasons 52. It's also an older crowd which is good if that's your thing. The last time I visited this location there was a child sitting at the bar while momma/ grandma was getting wasted, I don't understand why no employee in the restaurant asked the adult to remove the child from the bar. We celebrated Valentine's Day here and it was my first time eating here. The food was good and I liked the portions. My husband had soup, a flatbread and mac'n' cheese and I had the surf and turf. The waiter was flabbergasted that I asked for the steak to be well done but I like what I like! We also had dessert but ate it too fast before I could take a picture. The staff here is nothing more than amazing. Melissa was our waitress and was just outstanding even loaned my friend her reading glasses so he could see the menu and really wanna out of the way. She's a real asset to this company and when you walk into this place you feel like you're in a high-end restaurant that the prices aren't that high for the quality that you get the runner I think's name was something with a C just another amazing employee here management was more than accommodating for everything to the point that we actually took a picture. Have been here for lunch several times. One thing I can say is that the place is classy, but not stuffy. Today, we all ordered off the lunch menu. Three of us got the "pairing" of a 1/2 flatbread with a salad or soup. I was told the flatbreads were good. The regular salad and Caesar salad that others ordered looked fresh and the lobster bisque (which I tasted) was creamy and tasty. It was not overly salty. I ordered a tortilla soup and the mahi mahi tacos. The soup was too salty. The tacos were a nice size and tasted good. The taco dish came with a nice fresh salad with vinaigrette dressing. It was a highlight of the dish. The tacos also came with a small cup of guac. I noticed immediately a brownish crust on the outside of the guac. (See pic). I scraped off the outer layer and the inside was a nice green color and the guac tasted fresh and had bits of tomato and onion. I remarked to the server that I was surprised to see a crust on the guac. They said that it's what happens to fresh guac. I get that. But, honestly, I've been making guac and eating guac for years and never seen anything like this on recently prepared guac. I know it's oxidation and is normal and is harmless and tasteless. I get that. But my meal was served at 1 pm and I do wonder when that guac was made and how it was stored for it to turn brown so quickly. The server did offer to give me a new guac, but, as I said, it tasted fine and I know it's just what happens over time. I was just surprised they would serve it that way. We also ordered the mini desserts. My peanut butter one was outstanding at the peanut butter top layer, but the chocolate cake inside felt and tasted dried out. It was disappointing. We were celebrating a birthday, and the server brought us each a glass with some champagne, which was nice. And, when we got our desserts, they delivered a small cup holding a little, lit candle. Also a nice touch. The service overall during the meal was very good. We did linger after our meal for at least an hour (the restaurant was virtually empty at the time). read more

We had a private party to celebrate my brothers and his fiancé's wedding tomorrow with our families and absolutely loved it. We had a private room for 24 people and even had a screen to play a slide show to commentate the union of our families. The service was great and very attentive to our party. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD!!! I personally cannot pick a favorite it was all so good from the flatbreads to the roasted chicken. We had a great time and meal. I hope to come back for a family dinner or a date. read more

Season 52 has an interesting name for a resturant. As a "Public Service" I did a quick research about the 42 resturants chain here: "Seasons 52 refers to the idea that there are 52 seasons in a year, rather than four, because food items come into season weekly around the world. The restaurant's menu changes weekly and seasonally to reflect this, with large changes every season and smaller changes based on what's fresh." Well, despite being a major restaurant chain, the cusine is very good! My Mom lives nearby, and being 94 years young, she "loves" Seasons 52 and I have accompanied her on numerous times over the years. ALWAYS a great experience. Our party included myself Mom, my daughter who flew in from Paris, France along with my schoolmate & friend since 1966! I ordered the sea My daughter selected the Lump Crab Cake,.Maryland-style, mustard and she shared they were exceptional! My Mom ordered the lobster bisque lobster and roasted corn relish, sherry, chives & the flatbread. I selected the Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops broccolini, mascarpone risotto. It was wonderful! The scallops were tender, beautiful and delicious! Wow! Our service was a bit hectic given the holidays and one of the chefs pitched in and she came over to cover the waiter tables. The waiter's presentation of the "staircase" of mini desserts was both entertaining and enticing. We were sold! For desserts my Mom and daughter ordered the Key Lime Pie Mini Graham cracker crust, and whipped cream. They were VERY pleased with their choices! I asked our waiter for his recommendation and he said the Turtle Cheesecake Mini Cheesecake, salted caramel, dark chocolate ganache, candied pecan was great so I ordered it and was very pleased! Our server did a wonderful job attending to our table, while managing others as well. She was very communicative with the organizers and made sure we all had a great time. The food was very delicious and quite fresh. Seasonal ingredients are obviously their gig, and I would say they pulled it off well. I had the Maui Tuna Crunch salad with the roasted chicken/artichoke soup. I'm so glad I only got a cup of the latter, because this was more than enough for a full meal! I was thinking a small cup of soup and an entrée salad would be a small enough pairing, but it was a LOT! It's quite lovely inside, as well, with that modern restaurant aesthetic. But, instead of rock and cold, hard walls, it was soft woods and a dark candlelit motif. Very soothing, quite relaxing. I've been to this chain in the past, and I have had a generally equal experience. But, this particular location really set the bar pretty high. He anticipated our needs beautifully, offered wonderful food suggestions, and provided by far the best dining experience I have had recently. When I was walking into this establishment, I asked my friend if she had been to the restaurant before. She responded that she had, prompting me to ask if it was good. She said, "It's okay, it's a chain." I should have listened to her. This location is across from Woodhouse Spa in Bethesda so conveniently located if you're looking to have a meal before or after your spa day. I made a reservation about an hour in advance and received a text at the reservation start time to confirm if we were on our way. The restaurant was pretty empty, with only a handful of other patrons on a Monday afternoon (between Christmas and New Year). We were seated promptly and a server came to deliver menu and our drink orders promptly as well. That's pretty much where the good times ended, for me at least. We needed more time to review the menu and so the serve said she would return in a few minutes. We waited about 12 minutes and she had not yet returned, so I walked over to the bar to get her attention. She was chatting up another patron and it seems we slipped her mind. Okay, it happens. Once our food arrived, I had to send an item back because a requested accommodation was not made. My friend enjoyed her scallops, rice, and broccolini but my flatbread was pretty horrible. It tasted like something I could have purchased from the frozen section at the grocery store. The side of brussels sprouts I ordered, which was originally delivered with bacon that I asked them to omit, were pretty solid. After that, we never saw our server again. Another server refilled our water and the bartender eventually provided our checks. Overall, service very much needs to improve. Otherwise, like my friend said, it's just okay. read more

I invited a friend for lunch and we were very disappointed with the food. The ambiance is fine, the seats are comfortable and the service is fine. The food , in particular the crab cakes, are bad. The menu describes it as Maryland crab cakes which is totally wrong, Maryland crab cakes generally use lump Maryland crab meat with minimum fillers. These cakes consisted of a fine mushy poor tasting canned crab (probably from Asia) and fillers. The result was a foul tasting sandwich. We both left most of it and did not bother complaining to the waitress as we were under time constraints. This used to be a reasonably good restaurant, but it is going down hill. AND a big disappointment was the "lump crab cake" which as an appetizer was expected to be small but tasted like a frozen fish cake (of unspecified origin!?), like from the frozen food section of a supermarket, or drive-thru. There was no test of crab whatsoever. It was a thin fried fish cake. And cost $16 !! I should have commented to the staff at the time. The cheese steak flatbread was tasty. 12.1.23 This was my first visit at this location, I have been to the Columbia location multiple times. I took one wrong turn and circled the block several times. Lol. There is a retail garage (East Marketplace Entrance) conveniently located nearby. The restaurant is on L1. Parking is free for only the first two hours. I was looking for a venue for 12 people for a holiday staff lunch meeting. The private room referred to as Chef's Table typically holds 10 people, but can accommodate up to 12 people, 2 seats at the table ends and 4 people on each side. I think 2 on each side would be tight. Fortunately only 10 managers showed up so it was comfortable. The Chef's Table is not enclosed and is by the lobby so it got loud. Also, the lighting is very dim so for a business meeting is not suitable if you are looking at documents. The room also has a monitor. Aside from the Chef's Table, there is another larger private room called Carneros Room. We ordered several apps including meatballs and the Shrimp-Stuffed Mushrooms. We each ordered different entrees and I believe everyone enjoyed their order. I ordered the Salmon salad and it was delicious! I didn't think eating healthy could taste that good. Several colleagues ordered alcoholic beverages, tea, and coffee. For dessert, we each ordered a mini indulgence. Final thoughts: The service and food were great, the only suggestion I have is to make the light brighter in the Chef's Table private room. read more

Lots of hit and misses in terms of food. Chilean sea bass was one of best fish I had but the rice was sadly undercooked and hard. When we alerted the server, they never took accountability and admitted they served rice that was hard and undercooked. Instead, they just asked if we wanted the rice on the side instead of being replaced. We ultimately had the choice, but we didn't want to extend our stay any longer since service was unbearably slow with a terrible parking situation that charges for dining longer than 2+ hours. Do not get the stuffed crab mushrooms (they blasted it into smithereens in the oven). While the server was friendly, she forgot all of our basic needs like water refills, straws, and menu specifications (no red peppers). Truffle risotto was overcooked pudding with tons of butter. Most redeeming qualities were the sea bass, flat bread, and the macaroni and cheese were chef's kiss. Seasons 52 is a consistent chain restaurant, with good service, and pretty good food. We had lunch here recently, and service was prompt and knowledgeable. I personally find that the gluten sensitive (this word always frightens me a bit, although cross contact seemed to be non existent) and the vegetarian menus leave something to be desired, but the regular menu had plenty of options. Our table had a few appetizers and some mock tails. Everything was good. Our table actually liked the gluten free flatbread better than the pita that came with the hummus appetizer. I enjoyed the scallops with risotto. Others at our table had the mahi tacos and the crab cake sandwich. The dessert shooters are great if you don't have dietary restrictions. We traveled halfway around the beltway to celebrate my friend's graduation and it was worth it. There was 7 of us and they seated us in a semi-private room. We enjoyed the privacy because when we get together we can be a little loud. We started off with a few items for the table: crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms, slow roasted meatballs, Korean bbq baby carrots and mac n cheese. All were great except for the mac n cheese...not as flavorful as we like. We had a variety of entrees: wood-grilled rainbow trout, wood-grilled pork chop, Chilean sea bass, and grilled sea scallops.
