I had high hopes... I was browsing restaurants close to my hotel since we're kind of in the middle of nowhere and this place popped up. I browsed the menu and it seemed good enough so I went. I went in the evening and it was pretty crowded but not too busy where I had to wait. While I usually sit at the bar when I go out to eat, I decided to sit at a two-top in the bar section. Shortly after I was sat, I noticed there was a five top seated diagonal from me. I watched as three different servers passed by me with no acknowledgment, only to then look over and see the five top already get water while I had nothing. Not the greatest way to start out. I kept looking back to get someone's attention and managed to lock eyes with a server who then came to my table. He asked if I had been helped and I said no. I went ahead and ordered a blueberry lemon splash but got it with vodka instead of gin and got the 6 oz filet with NO mushrooms, and got green beans and carrots for my side. After he got my order, he eventually brought water (it def took longer than it should have.) The blueberry lemon drink was pretty good. Although tart in the beginning, it tasted better after it was stirred. I noticed the pour was heavy, so there's that. Shortly after, someone else came up to my table asking if I had been helped. I said yes but thought that was odd because they seem disorganized about who was doing what. A few mins later my food was brought out and while the presentation was nice, it wasn't what I asked for. The first thing I did when I ordered my food was ask for no mushrooms and guess what was scattered all over my steak and my plate? Mushrooms. My server didn't come check on me until I was about halfway done and then the man that dropped off the food asked if I was able to manage with the mushrooms. You're joking, right? I'm glad you found it funny considering it was NOT what I ordered but go off. Now, I saw online they had some dessert flights I was interested in, but once the server did come back around, he never even mentioned the desserts and I went ahead and asked for my check. Overall, the service was subpar, disorganized and needs a facelift. The steak was good but that's it. I probably won't be back in this area and have no desire to ever frequent this place again.

We came here for the happy hour; the white wine selections were so-so, but the small plates were good - seared hand-lined ahi tuna and wood-grilled Kona-crusted lamb. We then had more fish! - entrées of cedar plank-roasted Norwegian salmon. The salmon was a bit dry, but the flavor was nice. This restaurant was the hot spot for happy hour and business gatherings as several big corporate buildings are near by. We did not have reservation, so we were directed to whatever available table. We were told that most of the tables were reserved for corporate parties - the only time they're not busy is Sundays. The restaurant has modern open layout with high ceiling windows. The flow of the space is comfortable.

Went for lunch with coworkers and it was much better than my last visit. The flatbread was delicious, as well as the tuna salad! The salad was too big too finish. I was extremely jealous of the fish ordered by the others and they said it was delicious as well. I wish I remembered the waiter's name but he provided great service, even finding a pecan pie shooter for dessert when it's not on the menu at this time.

Went here for dinner with a few coworkers. It's a very nice place. Really liked the ambiance of it. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and had some good recommendations. I started with the lobster bisque and it was good but I always feel it needs more lobster. The lamb was really good had lots of flavor. Good experience overall.

Had a 5:30pm reservation on a Wednesday and was surprised has busy the restaurant was. By the time we left about an hour later, the rest of the place was packed! We were seated right away. Our server was very pleasant and took our drink order pretty quickly. All in all our food came out very quickly and while we were not rushed at all, we were only in the restaurant for about an hour. Enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak flatbread as a starter. It was very crisp and flavorful. As a paper plane drinker, I was pleased to see the jetsetter on the menu with pineapple infused bourbon. The drink was similar to a paper plane, though I would have preferred it strained without ice. I got the grilled sea Scallops for my meal. The scallops were cooked well and were flavorful. The risotto tasted delicious and there were some asparagus on the side.

First-ever visit at any location of Seasons 52. We typically avoid chains, but I'd been curious about their menu leaning towards more vs less healthy in terms of preparation & portion sizes. Interior was upscale. Service was friendly and helpful -- great suggestion sea bass. Prices matched the expectation. Overall it's okay, but I prefer locations that are more neighborhoody / in-town, and less strip mall, highway or business park.

What a beautiful place to eat! Since you arrive, you can tell it is expensive, but it is worth it. The decoration and organization make it unique and beautiful. The food is delicious, with different options ranging from salads to seafood and steaks. The desserts are fabulous; they offer a personal portion, which is just enough after a delicious meal, and it's incredibly complemented by the dessert. The service is great, with really kind servers and hostess.

Overall: Great experience here, good food, good staff, clean interior, Seasons 52 checks all the boxes! Food: The food here was great. Every dish hit exactly the way I wanted it to. Not sure how else to put it but you will be satisfied with your choice. Service: Attentive staff, food came out quickly, great service overall. Ambiance: A nicer place, but could definitely suit a more casual crowd if needed. Lights aren't dimmed, so more of a casual vibe with clean elements on the interior.

Always a solid choice. Stopped in the other night with my wife for dinner at the bar. Bartender was cleaning the bar too and very friendly. The good came out in quite reasonable time frame and was very good, inside is beautifully decorated. I had my go apps the meatballs and margarita flatbread. Ofcourse the drinks were on point.

Very boring, very "cut and paste", very forgettable. It was all just...fine. Perfect place to go out for drink with co workers or talk business. I overheard someone talking about the CEO of their company, which felt very on brand for this place. Service was nice, no complaints. They have a healthy thing going on here. Everything has a hint of "health" and the calories are listed for each meal. My sea bass was very tasty and I enjoyed the multigrain rice that came with it. Husband's filet mignon was decent. Mac and cheese severely lacking flavor. Mac and cheese should not taste healthy. We didn't get dessert - they only do little shooters of cakes. Can't see myself wanting to return.

I visited this Seasons 52 with my SO for an early Saturday birthday dinner. I made a reservation in advance but probably didn't need it at that time. There is a large parking lot on site, and we easily found a spot upon arrival. The restaurant itself was clean, and we were seated immediately. We experienced outstanding service from start to finish. Our server was also quick to correct two issues that occurred with our orders. I opted for a cucumber basil smash cocktail that was out of this world good. We tried a few different cocktails and all of them were excellent. As for the food, I appreciate that there are many gluten-free options available, including their flatbread. We were both amazed at the quality and size of our shared flatbread, that poor thing didn't stand a chance against the two of us. Our server was also nice enough to bring out a decorated Happy Birthday plate for my boyfriend's dessert. Truly, we had such a great date/celebration, we can't wait to return. Regardless of the location, Seasons 52 always guarantees an enjoyable and thoughtful dining experience.

Going with someone that is not a wine drinker. Do they have beers or is it only wine and specific cocktails?

Yes, they have beer!

How is portion size?

Substantial.

What about the prices; never a good sign when blank?

The prices are beyond reasonable. We were expecting it to be pricey but they have flatbreads for I believe $19 and entrees were below $30. Great wine selections and happy hour too. The prices are on the website. Just be sure to pull up the… Read more

Zero Stars! I walked…read morein on Sunday with my girlfriend as we always try to hit up all of the local breweries, tap rooms, and brewpubs when we are traveling or visiting towns to support the small craft beer industry because we always enjoy their beers and the environment. Now with that being said, this isn't any of the three. First off, we walked in and up to the bar and asked for a drink menu and the bartender who had zero personality, didn't say hello, how are you, wasn't smiling, and then says hold on let me see if I can serve you. Wait what? Isn't this a craft beer bar? He said there is a christening going on and I don't know if they want anyone else in here. I was like are you serious? A christening in a bar and with nothing on the door or anywhere saying the bar is closed for a party. Gotcha! So some guy walks up to him while he is talking to us and says he doesn't want us in there. Hilarious!!! I hope the owner knows you denied business to actual customers because some local cool guy wanted the whole place to himself to have his kids christening at a local bar so everyone could enjoy their quesadillas(from what I seen walking out). FYI: there was no one sitting at the bar or bar area just about 10-15 people sitting at a couple tables eating and drinking. I'll never return for any reason.

Matches the Frog menu. * Nice beer selection - 20 on tap. * Only had summer beers since it's July. Only dark beer was Guinness, oh well. So I tried the mule since they have so many. The one mule I had was fantastic - I forget the name, but it's the Mexican one with the jalapeno. Actually spicier than our calamari! Wonderful drink. Downside: * A bit pricy. But that's Morristown in general. Whatcha gonna do. * 1-star deduction: Rude bartender. I thought beer #10 was smudged so I asked about it and she said it was gone. I then saw a different one in the online menu so I asked the friendly server if the tap was replaced. The rude bartender turned around and snapped "I told you it's tapped. It's done. Don't ask." Minus one star for the bartender, but fortunately the rest of the night went great here. If the establishment reads this - please deal with whoever was behind the bar yesterday around 5-6 PM. I would literally turn around and walk back out if I saw her, and I would absolutely stay if she wasn't there.

First, overall I'd say the food was very good on all five visits. The first two nights, I had dinner here. On the first night, I sat at the bar and enjoyed a bowl of the French onion soup and the halibut. The soup wasn't huge for $12, but it tasted good, and the halibut was quite flavorful. I didn't realize at the time, but they add in an 18% gratuity, so tip extra at your own risk. On the second night, I ate at a table with two coworkers. I had the chicken paillard, which was a large portion and also very good. Service was strong at both the bar and table on consecutive nights. For the three breakfasts, I pretty much had the same thing every day...an omelette with a side of fruit. It also came with potatoes, but it would've been nice if it came with toast or something similar without needing to pay extra. Again, food was good. Service the first day was fine. The next two days, the older gentleman providing service couldn't have cared less. I (and others) would show up at 6:30, when they opened, but nobody would be there. We'd sit ourselves and then wait. Eventually he'd show up. It was difficult getting coffee too, as both days, my cup sat empty for a long time until I'd eventually flag him down. Everything was on his time. I would've given him little/no tip...if the 18% wasn't already added in. The rest of the restaurant...food and service...gets a 5. This guy gets a 1. I probably should've given this a 3, but it didn't seem fair to everything/everyone else.

Review: Café Faubourg - Montclair…read more Café Faubourg is one of Montclair's true gems--an authentic French bistro that feels as if it were lifted straight from a quiet Parisian street and placed right in the heart of town. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance sets the tone: warm lighting, intimate tables, and that unmistakable bistro charm that makes every meal feel like a small escape. The food is consistently excellent, starting with their hummus, which is surprisingly standout for a French spot. Smooth, flavorful, and beautifully plated, it's the perfect way to begin the meal and pairs wonderfully with their fresh bread. The steak frites is a must-order and easily one of the best in the area. The steak is tender and cooked exactly to preference, richly seasoned without being heavy, and served alongside crisp, golden fries that are everything you want in a classic bistro dish. It's simple, authentic, and prepared with the kind of care that elevates a traditional favorite into something memorable. Service at Café Faubourg is warm and attentive without being intrusive, contributing to the relaxed elegance of the experience. Whether you're dropping in for a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion, the staff makes you feel welcome and unrushed. The inside has both a main dining hall and a greenhouse, which feels like basically sitting on a covered patio with well kept shrubbery and ambient lighting. It's a neat balance of modern and open while still feeling cozy. I think my favorite dish is the ramp fava bean toast -- the umami from the purée balanced with the crunch of the toast and the brightness from the pickled ramps. I'd also recommend the steak two ways -- both cuts cooked perfectly to medium rare -- and the lobster linguine was delicately fragrant, buttery, and slightly acidic all at once. The chips and eggplant dip (kind of like hummus consistency) was kind of a fun, shareable starter too. I will say that I wasn't impressed with the ceviche or branzino our waiter recommended it. The branzino particularly came out a bit dry, and more of the tomato-olive-caper side or dressing would've helped. And while our waiter answered our questions, service felt a little more on the less attentive side.
