They do very good work, however their customer service is terrible. They advertise 15% off for first time customers and there is no stipulations on the advertisement. However when you get inside there are stipulations stating that you have to purchase the more expensive pedicures to get the deal. They also offer a 10% off for teachers, medical staff and students which I am teacher and my sister is a RN. They would not honor it unless we got the pedicure that was $60 or more but the cheapest one was $40. Which was not stated on any advertisements. read more

They called a female duo feisty while I was getting my toes done. I was severely uncomfortable, as I was looking forward to enjoying my pedicure, instead I couldn't relax over the bickering of salon workers. The girl must have been in her young 20s, and looked distraught after she expressed concerns and was blatantly ignored by the workers. It's a shame, I couldn't tell if she was with a mom or friend; they both were young in age and could have been sisters. I would give 0 stars but that is not an option. read more

Literally the worst nails I've ever had. I never write reviews especially if it's bad but it was such a bad experience. I practically had to tell the lady how to do her job by telling her it needs to be filed or trimmed ( I went in for a fill ) or telling her to please make them even. Even when I would politely say anything she would give me a look and then look to her coworker definitely talking crap which is so unprofessional and very uncomfortable. Wonderful customer service I forgot what the name of the pedicure I got but it was a $65 one plus gel which is $15. Love the lady she took her time with me. Everything was so amazing I will have to say when you go in there please do have patience. They are very busy, but they will get to you. Henry did my nails. I was so glad I found a Instagram because I couldn't find a nose salon that I think would have been able to achieve the product that I wanted. Seaside Nails is amazing. I've been getting my nails done with Tracy regularly for a while now and she is the best at the beaches. Any photo I show her for a design she can do perfectly, she exceeds my expectations every time. I've been getting my nails done every couple of weeks for years around the beaches and it must be the technique she uses because they have never been this healthy until I started going here. I have gotten a pedicure done by just about all the staff I am not picky on who does it because it has been great and consistent every time. My mom and sister come here as well. I tried to get a walk- in pedicure before the holidays. I've been to this shop several times and used Kim. At check-in, I said anyone could do the service because I was in a hurry and happily found a slot of time to relax. Kim, who was busy, pitched a fit. She started screaming that I was HER customer and I should wait for her. A lovely girl filled the bowl, I had just put my feet in the water when Kim started screaming again. I walked out with wet feet. I was told she doesn't understand English well. Kindly explain customer service to her in her native language. I won't return. read more

I went to this nail salon while on vacation here. The salon was nice, however I was told that it was impossible to have dipped powder over acrylic. This is odd because that is what I've always gotten, but I just went with it. I have no idea what they ended up doing but I think they layered gel and the powder dip? I'm Not sure, but it was so botched, when I came home to my usual salon, they were in shock. In fact, every nail tech in my hometown salon came around to see how weirdly botched they were. I've been searching for the right nail salon since I moved here and I finally found it! The salon is clean and Kim did an amazing job.

I went here with a friend and had really good service. That's where it ended. Thinking I had found a great place, I made an appointment with the nail tech that I had before, asking for them. I was asked to come in an hour later than I wanted to see this person, but I thought okay. Little did I know that he was not in the shop (on vacation). They just scheduled me as "any available". I didn't find this out until I arrived at my appointed time. I found this really bad customer service. I asked for a specific person. I was never told he was not available. They said "So sorry. This person coming in, they help you when they get here." What was the point of making an appointment??? I didn't want any random person. Totally disappointed. Have no desire to return ever again. read more

I went here for a full on manicure and pedicure. I'd never had gel or anything besides regular polish done but was excited after reading up on the durability and seeing tons of neat pictures online. I arrived and was greeted by a woman and told to pick my colors - I wanted gel for my hands in a pink and light blue ombré (very popular and common design, I provided a photo for reference and she said it was doable but only with dip) and just regular polish on my feet. I figured they knew best and said ok. I sat for a few moments, thinking she was just setting up (I was at her station), but then was passed off to a different tech. He was uncomfortably chatty and I should've said I just wanted to relax but didn't so that's on me - but I don't really want to hear about your girlfriend, your apartment, jokes about tequila, your dog, jokes about how grating my feet will make make me lose weight (awkward?)... I also got nipped on the toe, accidents happened but c'mon, maybe chat less and pay attention to what you're doing. Once we got to the dip, the technician broke out an art supply box with random drill bits and other tools to use. I should've stopped the whole thing right there. This did not feel sanitary (not like the typical vacuum-sealed sanitized packages which I did see on another counter), but I was kind of stunned and just sat there. After dipping my fingers in the blue powder (and redipping into the same pots - not a separate container - so everybody's fingers are going into the same powder) and then showing me that the pink just wasn't going to show up - the ombré style I wanted was skipped altogether. I, again, chalked this up to just not knowing enough about nails, but in retrospect, that was really lame and not what I came for. I should've been told prior to starting that he couldn't do it or that the colors would need to be changed or something rather than wasting all that time to just get some extensions with plain blue dip powder. The underside of my nails and the extensions were chunky with leftover powder, the dip on top was VERY thick, my left pinky nail was lumpy, and all of the extensions were lifting from the start due to improper application. I've learned a lot since then about dip and just nails in general which is why I'm writing this review so late - I wanted to be clear that the above problems were indeed problems (and they are). The damage done by the drill bit used in the dip manicure (I had my dip gently removed elsewhere because I was afraid the lifting extensions would break off) is finally growing out, except this tiny splotch of stubborn blue stain on my thumb (which I was terrified was some kind of fungus due to poor sanitary conditions but it's not, thankfully). Don't let the facade fool you. It's pretty inside, but I wouldn't recommend this place at all. $96 later and I'm just glad I had a friend recommend a nail tech to help get this junk off. read more

I frequently visited this shop and had the best nail tech Jasmine, and I realized that Jasmine is no longer working for the shop. Jasmine was very good with customers and at her job and made things fun in the shop. I will not be going back to do business when the shop keep losing good people. read more

The space is beautiful and the staff were excellent. Everyone kept safe distance and masks were worn by everyone. My sister and I really enjoyed our pedicures and are still talking about the watermelon slices used during the massage! We loved that touch. read more

I used to go to this nail salon when it was Ken & Kim and absolutely loved it ! My guess is that it's under new ownership and has changed to seaside nails.the renovation looks beautiful and they accommodated my same day appointment. The man at the checkout was very kind and courteous. I was not satisfied with my nail technician Henry, I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I had to tell him numerous times to cut one of my nails because it looked like it was dark underneath the acrylic which could be from water getting between the nail and the acrylic and could result in fungus .....I've been getting my nails done for years and know what I like ! He suggested SNS since I keep my nails short but I told him that I've gotten SNS numerous times and just did not like them and preferred gel. He was arguing with me about my decision but I'm rough on my hands in my line of work and the SNS seems to break easier so I know what works best for me. Then he seemed very rush and annoyed the rest of the service!! My suggestion is to let your technician know that it's pretty rude and uncomfortable to argue with a customer about their preference.Going into a salon in a great mood and leaving pretty upset. read more
