Today was not my first time. I've been going to Ocean Nails for the last few months and each visit has been consistent. Customer service is amazing and I always leave satisfied with their services. I usually get in and out pretty quickly, which I love because my girls have busy schedules. They're fast without sacrificing quality. THIS PLACE IS STRAIGHT OUT OF A HORROR MOVIE Terrible service with two different techs. I'm new to town and looking for a reliable nail tech and should have read the reviews before coming here. My nail beds are completely destroyed and my nails on my first set were lifting in less than 24 hours of getting them. After mentioning this to them, they offered me a free set. I told the new tech my nail beds were in shambles because of the last guy. She still was still so rough and unprofessional. I asked for french tips and her version of "french tips" was to put a little bit of acrylic on and let the white base tip be the "french tip". There is no nail polish on my set. Both sets were so hideous and I seriously want to take legal action for how damaged my nail beds and cuticles are. read more

My niece and her girls were in town this weekend. They went to Ocean Nails on Friday and all 4 had mani/pedis. They twins got gel nails. By the evening the gel.was peeling off their nails. Both of them. The twins are 8yrs old they said they were unable to understand the staff and by the looks of their nails and the peeling I'm guessing the oils did not get Wiped off the nails. If you know someone does not understand you especially children get the parent or show them what you want them to do. My niece paid a lot of money to your salon to have the gel peel off. read more

Okay, I have taken my daughters here for years. They enjoy it, but sometimes some of the chairs were not working and it was frustrating. However, that all changed this visit as they have installed all new chairs, new tables, new equipment and new dryers. The transformation was amazing. Very nice people and I have had MANY great experiences here. I have been going here since I was 14, maybe younger. The service is great. I have gotten pedicures, manicures and my dad has gotten his eyebrows done here as well. He also gets pedicures and manicures when we have a daddy daughter day. The vibe is nice as well. Went back and got charged a lot for a fill-in. Nothing extra just acrylic it's ridiculous!! My 9yo daughters gel pedi was $40 which was more than mines and I got gel as well!! The girl who did my toes noticed she made a mistake and still didn't correct it. They the old guy told my son who has autism to be quiet because he was too loud and made my daughter very uncomfortable because she hates when people stare and mistreat her little brother!! I went to Ocean Nails instead of going to my usual place. I'm sad to say I won't be going back. A SNS manicure is supposed to last at least two weeks. This is a picture of my nails less that two weeks after my manicure. They started chipping just a few days after. I don't expect them to be perfect, but this much chipping after two weeks is not normal. It might be because the nail tech didn't take much time prepping my nails before applying the SNS. She also didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped which was disappointing. read more

I was looking for a place to bring my 2 little girls (7 and 4). Ideally, I was in search of a place that had those cute kid chairs... maybe hello kitty themed or something. While I did find a few other places with that option, the reviews just weren't as good as Ocean Nails'. So I chanced it... and it was a great first mani pedi experience for the wee ones! I love this nail spa! 1. They do a great job. They offer gel, regular and sms nails. I always struggle for my nails not to chip ( no matter what kind I get) and they stay on! They are nicely filed and you are actively being asked what you want or if there is anything they can fix or do better for you as they go! There are also so many options as far as colors and designs they can do. The minimum pedicure also comes with hot wax which for me is a total plus!! 2. The employees are SO NICE. They actually talk and make nice conversations with their customers! They also have SO MANY Returning customers. I heard conversations around me the first time I went and the employees are actively asking their returning customers about their kids, job, life updates from where they left off last time. It's just a different culture than other nail salons. This currently is the only nail salon I will now go to! read more

Ocean Nails is not what you expect when you pull in the parking lot. It is huge and has a ton going on! They have taken up two store fronts and offer a plethora of services. They offer the usual manicures and pedicures, along with every type of nail overlay out there. Waxing of course! Here's what is different. There are hair salon chairs in the center. I didn't see anyone working when I was there, but I will assume that is what the are for. Then you have the facials, European facials and non surgical facelifts and eyelash extensions! My sister and I went to Ocean nails for her pre-birthday celebration in November. We walked in the day after Thanksgiving around noon and no one was around. Eventually the owner came out and asked us what we came in for - we wanted pedicures, so she ran the water and we soaked for a while. The specialists came out and were very professional and meticulous. The massage portion of the pedicure was simply heaven! The pedicures turned out great! Good/fair price and good service. Decided to try this spot on my way to an appointment. I had about 1.5 hours to spare and my regular nail salon was out of the way. With that said I should have known to wait until I had time to go to my normal spot. The lady doing my pedicure was not very friendly and didn't listen when I specifically asked her not to cut the corners of my toenails. After soaking in the cold water next came the massage. If your nails were crooked then maybe your fingers were crooked and if you chipped your nails after getting them done then maybe you were not careful and you were doing some manly shit orrr you just want to blame someone! This nail shop has longtime customers and new customers for a reason! They are very busy for a reason and that would take common sense to tell anyone this place is Poppin! They all wear masks and everyone is distancing safely! The nail techs here would never let you leave unhappy they will fix anything that makes you unhappy especially if they were the ones who did your nails. They all have similar techniques and are creative in their own ways and one thing I do know is that I have never broken a nail especially when I have been overdo for a fill. They cater to all ages and styles. QUALITY is what you pay for in this place! Although All the nail techs are great, "Queen Elaina" is the #1 nail tech ever! Although its not a spa, Ocean Nails is a family owned and operated nail salon that I love to frequent. I've been coming since 2002 and love them. The place is clean, the employees are still the same after all these years, the service is quick and thorough. I love that they give great massages after the pedicure. I didn't like my experience here at all...my nails are crooked...I told the lady they were crooked and her not wanting to fix them said it's because one side of my finger is higher than the other as if I don't get my nails done quite often and don't have this problem...she then had someone else finish me who tried to fix her errors because I asked for coffin shape and some of my nails looked like fat squares...they were able to make them coffin shape but not the best...they're different sizes and all...my overall nails look I'd give a 4/10...I'm not satisfied...then on to my pedicure..I know I said ouch at least ten times...she even made me Bleed...my feet were itching so bad in the water...the piece that connects to the inside was dirty and had build up in it smh I'm hoping I don't get any foot fungus...she clipped one of my toenails on the sides making it skinny and ugly...I asked to cut my big toe nails down to look natural because they had grown out...they're still long...and she didn't even do a fill in on the big toes and they have acrylic...didn't get my dead skin good and she saw it picked at it and carried on smh..and the paint job is a mess she didn't even get paint on the corners smh...$90 for a I will not be coming back...these pictures actually do them justice...they look worst read more
