What a wonderful nail salon! It's like a secluded oasis in Jacksonville that makes you have pretty nails at the same time. They have a beautiful koi pond as soon as you enter the establishment and each area (massage, pedicure, waxing, etc) is separated by bamboo partitions. So relaxing... read more

This Nail Time place is Great, The Seats have Massage options, and they have nail dryer not like other nail places with small fans.

If you like cute, trendy designs on your nails, this is not the place to get your nails done. The manager Holly did my nails and I showed her the design I wanted, she told me she could do the design. She actually could not do ANY design very well. This was disappointing because if she could not do the design, she should have just said that. Instead I had to accept what she put on my nails and left the salon very unhappy. AND after I expressed I wasn't happy with the designs she did on the first 2 nails, she seemed to become agitated. I got a great pedicure here but the nail experience is just not great unless you're getting plain polish I added pics of what I asked for vs what I ended up leaving the salon with.. read more

This nail salon is the sweetest ever! They let me use a charger when my phone was about to run dead. And was very nice and talkative.

Such friendly staff! They do a great job too. I try to go to this salon every time I'm in town.

This is my second time here getting my toes done. They always take their time and do a great job! They always greet you very warmly and they are so professional. The best part is they have these cute partitions for a more private service. Very cute decorations. I love it here. Also the bathroom is huge, comfortable and clean. read more

Nail Time Baymeadows - Private pedicure room for two. - Nail Salons Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

This has been a classic spot I used to go to a lot and decided to make a recent visit. Prices: affordable and seems to be up to par with current nail service prices. I hope they keep it that way to keep the customers coming! Techs: no complaints but no specific recommendations at this time either. Cleanliness: the nail tools are all individually wrapped prior to client usage so I can only hope they sanitize it properly prior to new clients. Massage chairs: seems to be pretty up to par to others. I felt very relaxed with the massage. Overall cleanliness: there is A LOT of dust everywhere. There are a lot of things in here for their decor is definitely not minimal. But everything is dusty!! I'm glad I took my allergy medicine that day or I would be suffering. I also couldn't help but stare at the dust everywhere. I kept the 4 stars because I like how the dividers gave a private treatment feeling, & overall service + price. Please clean & dust the facility! Would like to keep returning. read more

This experience was so disappointing. I showed the lady a picture I wanted. The design was French tip and then on the big toe It was supposed to have sparkles and rhinestone. She told me she could do the design so I started my appointment. When she finished the French tip, she put sparkles on the big toe, but doesn't have any rhinestone. So then I had to change the whole design and get something else that I didn't want. This is for my graduation. This moment only happens once in life and she messed it up for me. She lied. She Told me she could do something that she couldn't do. She knew good and well she couldn't do that design but yet let me sit in her chair, because she wanted to get paid. And then when it came down to actually paying, she asked me if I wanted to tip and I said five dollars. And she put that I tipped her $15. So I ended up paying $65 for just plain white toes. I'm so upset. I'm so disappointed. This is a once in a lifetime thing for me. All I wanted was for my toenails to match my fingernails because my fingernails have rhinestones. Why did you say you could do a design that you couldn't do. You're a grown woman if you can't do something admit that. It's 8 PM at night. You're the only place that's still open right now at this time. And now I still have to pay anyway so I'm getting something I don't like. I am so disappointed. Disappointment isn't even the word. I sat there in the chair and cried as she did my toes. This moment is so important to me and you couldn't do the one thing that I asked. And then you lie? I just don't understand why anyone would do that. I give it a 0/10 and I will never go back. read more

This is a great nail salon. They have been at this location for years. One of the managers holly is amazing and fast. She manages the store effortlessly and does a great job. The vibes are calm with water flowing all throughout the store. the separate rooms are way better than one open area like regular salons. Their prices are very reasonable. They are always busy so book an apt! read more

I don't have pictures this time, but this salon is a whole vibe! You literally feel transported to another country with the well thought out decorations inside. I got a reflexology pedicure for Mother's Day and went today to get it done. It's very clean inside, service was great and the little lady did a wonder massage on my feet. I definitely recommend this place for your next pedicure or nails/waxing... I will definitely be back in the future. Very friendly workers. Went while visiting family and we all were happy with our service.

Came for a full set left crying they were shaped poorly and couldn't do a French tip so I got one solid color

Absolutely love this place. The tech was friendly, atmosphere was relaxing, the service was though and not rushed. Upfront pricing with no surprise charge up at the end. If you are looking for traditional nail service this is the place to be read more

I have come here several times for mani/pedis and have been impressed every time. Always just walk in and quick to get a nail tech. Appreciate the complimentary beverage and the comfy massage chairs. The best part of this nail salon though is the dependable professional service. The pedicure massage is amazing and upgrading to include the paraffin wax is absolutely worth the additional charge. Such a relaxing atmosphere, if you are coming with friends you can have a private space so sometimes I come even when I don't need a fresh pedicure just for the girls day outing. Not just nice nails but a nice treat for myself. read more

I read the reviews and thought it would be a nice place to try.I walked in and greeted the woman at the first desk.Who promptly told me " we don't do that here"..I asked "What is it you don't do?" she said acrylic, I told her I didn't have acrylic it was gel overlay. She said we don't do that.I didn't see any menus posted of the services but I'm disappointed at how poorly I was treated & they actually do provide this service read more

I wanted to update with another great experience. I got an SNS manicure while out of town for a special occasion and knew that I'd mess up my nails trying to do the removal myself. I stopped by Nail Time for a removal and basic manicure. The gentleman who did my manicure spent a lot of time and effort on removal with as little additional damage to my natural nails as possible. He then did great work on my cuticles and buffed my nails. Overall, my hands look and feel great. read more

Met up for a pedi with some of my girlfriends. There were a total of 5 of us. They put us all in a separate room so we could be together and chat. They were ready for us right at our appointment time. We all got the deluxe which, once you go deluxe, you never go back. My nail tech was Jenny. She was very nice and careful. The foot and calf massage was AMAZING! She did a great jon on my toes too. It was more than a normal pedi but so worth it. This was my first time going here but I will probably only go here going forward. read more

NEW UPDATE: DIPPING POWDER NAILS VS ACRYLIC. I LIKE IT. ***EXCEPT, For The Grainy(Sand like particles) The Nails Do Not Look As Glossy & Shinny as With The Gel Polish(The UV light Seals The Deal) I Love THIN APPLICATION:-) Big Difference From The THICK APPEARANCE OF ACRYLIC(Specially After 2 Or 3 Fills, YUCK) They looked FAKE:-( IF U LOVE GEL?? THERE'S GOOD NEWS!! These are my real nails. You can still have Gel Nail Polish. Holly, helped me to have the best of both Worlds. I had the clear. No color dipping powder. My natural nails have grown very quickly. Holly, brushes a liquid Vitamin on my natural nails. Then she applies the Color Gel & the outcome is my shinny finish I always got from the gel polish. So far, my Nails Last 2 1/2-3 Weeks. BEWARE IF ANOTHER SALON TELLS U YOUR STUCK W/NO GEL COLOR: I stopped at a salon in Port Saint Lucie Fl. The owner was Clueless. He insisted he would not use gel after the clear powder dipping. Poppy Cock!(BS in the UK) My natural nails have grown very quickly. Holly, brushes a liquid Vitamin on my natural nails. On High Volume Days. Fridays, Weekends. And, Holidays. You may want to CALL FOR AN APPT. *** Unless you do not mind waiting. There is a NEW CHANGE** If YOU prefer Acrylic. They NO LONGER USE ACRYLIC** Reason, Customer was given. Gel is Healthier.**** ***They DO NOT PROVIDE NAIL ART SERVICES. To Be SPECIFIC. French-Yes. Simple Little Flowers?- YES. Enquire Prior To Requesting Nail Art:-( I showed Holly a Pinterest Pic and, she did a good job with duplicating the design and look. Thanks, Holly. When I'm sitting there. She addresses lots of inquiries. From Customers & employees. Happy & unhappy situations. I'm OK W/this. It's GREAT FYI for my Reviews, and when I meet people and they ask me about the Nail Salons in the Area. I do recommend this salon. I generally have my Pedi done by Thu. She has done several pedicures for me. She is gentle, attentive, comfort, very details, I personally like, that she asks you. Specifics such, as length of your nails, pressure during massage. She offers the complimentary Beverage. There may be additional charges for Beverages. They CHARGE $5 for A REFILL of YOUR WINE(I FIND THIS TACKY). They have Sodas, Tea, Iced Coffee & Bottled Water. They offer a White or Red Wine. A small glass is filled in the back & brought to you. Still, as of now. I will continue to return. Based on the service and privacy this Salon offers. Not easy finding a Salon. That's clean, the staff is friendly. And, the Nail Tech that knows your likes and dislikes. read more

I'm going to try and be as transparent as I can with this review based solely on my first time receiving service for my mani and pedicure. The nail technicians that provided the service were of course nice. After having paid $68 plus tip for both services I was initially satisfied. It was shortly after I left that I began to notice that the gel polish and regular polish were not applied properly. Regular polish for my pedicure was on my cuticles. Gel polish immediately started peeling a couple hours later. I returned to have the polish removed shortly after and the nail technician handling the removal was very dismissive of my complaint. I'm glad she completed the job to remove the polish. I will not be returning. Obviously after having lost $68+ with nothing to show for it but thinner nails and dry cuticles from the nail bit used to remove the gel and acetone for the regular polish. Completely disappointed read more

Had the pleasure of finding this place while in the area, I am disappointed to say the least and especially for paying $80+ for a gel manicure and special pedicure. Pedicure was nicely done, and is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars or I would have left 1. When sitting down for my nails Tiffany didn't greet me ask me how I wanted my nails just started filing them to her liking .. not even making them match just doing minimal effort. When it comes to polishing she left my one hand with bubbles making minimal effort to even resolve the issue even after having to tell her they looked sub par... she let me walk out with gel all over my skin... She really didn't seem to care at all about her work. Just disappointed I paid this much for someone who can care less about the manicure she is performing.. will not recommend or be back read more

This was my first time at this location, I was recommended by a friend and honestly was the best pedicure I've ever had so I felt compelled to write a review!! I have gone to this nail salon for years and it has always been hit or miss but it wasn't the worst and most nail places in Jax aren't great. But my most recent experience was awful. The person doing my pedicure was not doing great, but when it came time to paint the nails it went off the rails. She was putting nail polish all over the toes. Not accidentally mind you, she was doing it on purpose and then wiping it off with her gloves which were then covered in it and getting wiped all over my feet. It was so bad i thought she might be having a medical episode and I asked her if she was okay or maybe needed to take a break. She said it was fine and tried to clean it up. She finished by putting the clear coat on 4 toenails and three toes (3 she didn't touch at all). I then went to get the manicure and they put me at the nail stand at the front desk rather than at a dedicated station so the person doing the manicure was running the desk while doing the manicure and to make matters worse she had the nastiest attitude. She was rude and condescending. She also did an absolutely terrible job. The nails came out thick, lumpy, and misshapen. I tried telling her repeatedly and she just deflected and then pretended not to hear me. I also asked for an actual manicure, not just the nail dip color. She got very snotty about that and told me that she'd have someone else do that when she was done. I tried telling that third person that I wanted to get the polish/dip removed because it just looked awful and she said I would be charged extra to get this goop removed. That was the last straw. I will never go back to this place. read more

I never write really bad reviews but....I went for the first time yesterday and first of all the staff pretty much ignored me when I walked in and I've been to another nail time before and have never had this kind of bad service. When I sat down the lady barely wanted to speak to me I tried to engage in a conversation because it's super awkward when your sitting there silently and she never wanted to speak to me. Then she started to massage my neck and it was so freaking rough it started hurting ‍ I could go further about my experience but it's too long. I do want to say this though...when I checked out she's like it's $35 and I'm like okay cool but then she's like "do you have $35 on your card?" I was like yeah so then she's like okay you want to tip then? I felt that was really weird and rude I mean do I look like I'm homeless or something? ‍ I will never go back to this place again. Good job on my nails though UPDATE ON MY NAIL JOB: It's been a week and two of my nails have broken...it's gel nail!!! My last gel nail job at a different place lasted forever...now I have to get them redone somewhere else. Save yourself time and money and do not go to this place read more

It's Nail Time or NO time.... I've been coming to nail time for years and they have the best pedicures I've ever had in Jax. Honestly since I started at Nail Time I haven't been anywhere else. I've been to the Baymeadows and St. John's Town Center locations, they both equally fabulous. Lol I HIGHLY recommend the Nail Time Deluxe Pedicure. Pedicures promote healthy feet and your feet are so important to your overall health, great healthy treat for ladies and even men. Refresh your feet, remove the dead skin and cuticle build up, your feet will even feel brand new after the massage. They absolutely take their time with you and you'll be relaxed! Comforted by a complementary drink of choice (water, wine, or soda)! I can go in raving like how they have a good selection of polish and the nice decor in the building, it's really an experience beyond your standard pedicure and worth every dime! read more

Perfect nail salon for a pamper time out with a group of friends or by yourself. I drive past the tons of nail salons around me to get to nail time on baymeadows. It's serene. They have group areas with the largest for a party of 8 and multiple smaller areas for 4. Complimentary drinks is the icing on the cake. Their regular $31 pedicure includes waxing, hot stones and paraffin. Their service is fast compared to the many other nail salons on Southside. Nice service, the place is massive and very accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone,

I've been coming here since 2015 and it has never disappointed! I've always gotten the hot stone pedicure which I highly recommend. I've come to Nail Time a while now and was always pleased..until today.. My pedicure felt rushed and rude and rough..Phoung was distracted, or lazy..maybe both..there was no exfoliation. .so I left with the same dead skin on my poor soles that I came with..but in addition a ton of nail polish on three of my toes where she had messed up..massage was horrible. .I said ouch..and she didn't acknowledge it..just kept pinching my feet..instead of ACTUALLY making my feet smooth she just slathered on a ton of oil..i was in and out so fast I thought she had a hot date to get to..definitely not what I am used to from this establishment. .maybe I need to move on to a new salon..I did pay full price, and after she ASKED me for a tip, I gave her one..mostly because I felt uncomfortable not tipping.. read more

Okay, I am a rugged man who from time to time enjoys taking my daughters to get pedicures. One time while waiting for them to finish, they talked me into joining them and I remember thinking, "Are you kidding me, why hasn't my wife told me how relaxing this is". Needless to say, I am hooked although I only have time to go a few times a year. Now that I have justified why I was here in the first place, let me tell you, Nail Time is awesome. It is in a very large space at the back end of a strip center and the staff is courteous and friendly. They have a number of services ranging from a straight pedicure to hot stone, reflexology and mint masks for your feet. Each two chairs are separated by a bamboo privacy fence, so not everyone is staring at you (a constant for a guy 6'4" with his size 12 feet in a small tub of water). At no time was I rusher or hurried and I was offered red or white wine, Coke/Diet Coke or water. Very nice experience. read more
