I had an appointment to get a gel manicure today and was randomly chosen for Junchi. I'm a true believer of everything happens for a reason and wow!!! This was my first time seeing Junchi and she absolutely amazed me. Not only was she so friendly and easy to talk to,but I had no idea what I wanted for my nails except color choices and she went beyond and delivered better than I could've thought. She is from LA and new to Jax Beach, but has so much experience in nail art. I showed her a couple of my ideas and next appointment we are going to try some. Nail tech did not know what she was doing. She had a nail fungal infection and did not wear gloves. She did not remove old layer of acrylic, she started painting polish over my nails and you could see dirt between the nail layers of my nails. I asked her to stop and went to pay. I've always gone here as I'm a snowbird. Unfortunately, this has come to an end since they did NOT support their quality of care. I got my nails filled and told the tech, my nails are coming apart from the acrylic and needs to be adhered. Long story short, she did nothing to correct the possibility of MOLD!! Low and behold, 10 days later, I got mold!! When I called the facility, and explained the situation they said, come in and we will address it. Two hours later with MANY workers looking at my nails and giving solutions in their language, I was charged, $75 dollars!!! I'm sorry but take responsibility and accept that the nail tech did NOT do what she should have. I paid my tab but will NEVER go back. So, all my fellow followers, beware!! read more

I have been taking my girls here for a long time and while it is no long close to where I live I ALWAYS COME BACK. You can describe the atmosphere as friendly, but at times it seems more like family. They pay attention to any special needs you may have and you never feel rushed or hurried. In fact, I have some issues from athletics they continue work on and overtime it has gotten much better. So I have to admit my girls are older now, so they prefer to go with their friends, so I roped one of my close friends into going with me so I am not the only guy in the building. He was a college quarterback and is very particular about his feet (like really particular, like OCD particular) and he loves IMPERIAL NAILS. I normally get the Signature which includes hot stones, scrub, paraffin and massage. There are some that are higher priced and some more basic. They also have a mani-pedi combination if you are interested. My girls swear by their gel nails, but I don't have experience with that. So try to call ahead, especially on busy days like the weekend. And when you get there, let them bring you a beverage and relax. You will be like family in no time. Want to Splurge - get the deluxe essentials package which lasts 60 minutes and has a host of botanicals that are applied. On a budget - just get the regular manicure or pedicure and give them a try. They will treat you the same no matter what package you get and there is never pressure to "go higher". read more

Don't go to this place for SNS!! I had my first chip after 2 days! Second chip after 4 days. Unacceptable. They have no idea how to do SNS clearly. Also I told them I did not want square nails, and that is exactly what I got, smh. Plus they are not even shaped properly. The basic pedicure I got was good, the man was nice, gave a good massage and did a nice job. The tech doing the sns also told me I shouldn't do tips because 'they fall off when you soak the sns dip off', and basically refused to do it...what?! That's not true. This place was awesome when I first started going. But the past couple times I have had the worst experiences with one of the nail techs. He had zero personality and made me feel very uncomfortable. If I wasn't paying attention he would pull my hand and get annoyed. He also rushed and gave me a super short pedicure. Any other place they take their time and actually massage your legs and feet.
