I emailed them months beforehand and they had me fill out a form with food preferences and restrictions. We ate here twice. Both times, the chef came out and spoke with us. The bread was vegan. The chef also made an appetizer of heirloom tomato "salad" with vinegarette cucumber&olives, as well as brussel spouts. On the menu, the brussel sprouts had honey and cheese. The ones we received were sweet, but it seemed to be a slightly watery brown sugar mix vs agave vs maple syrup. I didn't think it tasted like honey but I haven't had honey for 10y. ‍ Also the waiter assured us it was not honey. However, we ordered this again the 2nd time and in conversation with the chef, I found out he was not aware honey is not vegan. I kindly educated him and recommended he assume vegans don't eat honey unless they state they do. He made our brussel sprouts the 2nd time with salt/pepper. We again ordered the tomato salad. Both times, the main was a special Beyond meat meal with baked potato and broccoli. The first one was more steak-like, the 2nd was more like a skillfully cooked Beyond burger patty. I never liked red meat and haven't had it since 2008, but both meals were still pretty good. Also had some bites of veganized steak frites (has gluten), but they were a littl dry. For dessert, we had sorbet both times. Overall, the chef was Michael and was EXTREMELY kind and caring. He did not get defensive about the honey issue and truly wanted to learn/improve. The only reason I will give 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the service. Our waiter was wonderful and it's not his fault the food is bad and the atmosphere is extremely noisy, like a cafeteria. The ambience: 0/10 due to it being extremely loud and not peaceful at all. It sounds like a noisy high school cafeteria. The food: 0/10 due to the taste being bad AND the price extremely high for what you get. We paid $80 for 1 filet mignon. Definitely not worth it. The baked potato was so overcooked. I feel like it had been cooking for days. It was dark and mushy inside. The Caesar salad was flavorless. The lettuce was wet and the dressing not tasty at all. There were 3 of us and our bill was over $500 for a noisy dinner with bad food. Take a pass on this steakhouse. You will regret going here. read more

We had a great experience. Our servers were on point and very attentive. While the butter for the bread was hard as a rock and wouldn't even spread, that was the only disappointment we had with our dinner. The drink I got was the best I've had on the island. We always make a point to dine here on vacation! The staff is super fun and sing the loudest, most upbeat happy birthday song to guests. Can't beat a surf and turf dinner to end a day in paradise. The food and service were good, and the steakhouse had a nice ambiance, though it was very loud due to poor acoustics. The steak was slightly overcooked in places, but the dishes, including the Potter house, penne pasta, and apple pie, were enjoyable. However, the pricing for kids' fountain drinks was excessive at $4-$6 per small glass with NO refills, which was disappointing and added up quickly with teens who had multiple drinks. It was ok. Family and I went around prime dinner time (6-7pm) which could have impacted our experience but we were overwhelmed from the start. The entrance is very small and packed and it was hard to reach the front desk because you can't tell who's in line and who isn't. Once we got back to our table we could barely move our seats. Staying at the Margaritaville Hotel here in the Bahamas people here are wonderful, but I wouldn't stay at this hotel ever again. Our shower broke in the evening and they couldn't get it fixed so we couldn't shower that night after being out at the beach all day they set up an appointment for 8 AM to come fix the shower. No one ever showed up. I had to get dressed without showering and go downstairs and tell them and then they had to move us to another room so we had to repack everything up, which was a great inconvenience as I am a little older Family was waiting for us at the beach wasn't even able to get out of the room Till about 11:30 AM by the time I took my luggage it was already noon. Half the day was gone don't want to do anything to compensate for it. I will never stay here again, but the island itself is gorgeous and for the most part people here are amazing read more

The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. I was really to excited to come here for dinner because I had come years ago and it was very good. This time I will call it good but not excellent. We started with the oyster Rockefellers and we enjoyed those. We also had the crabcakes which I thought were OK but my son thought that they were great. we also had an order of grilled shrimp which were actually pretty well seasoned and tasty. For my entrée, I had the braised short ribs. The sauce they were served in was really good, but some of the meat was not as tender as I thought it would be. The mashed potatoes served with them were good. My son ordered the lobster mac & cheese, and it was terrible. We actually sent it back and had them remove it from the check because not only was the macaroni not flavorful, but it was also soft with a terrible texture. In addition , the lobster tail was also pretty yucky and it is very hard to mess up lobster tail so we didn't understand that one. The dirty martinis were absolutely excellent. The lemon drop martini was good as well. It was packed when we arrived at 7:45, but we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Our server was just OK. She never really asked us anything about ourselves or interact with us. She simply took our orders and brought everything to us that we asked for. She wasn't rude. She just really wasn't that friendly, but I know that it was busy when we were there. They have a very large menu selection and maybe next time I'll try the steak or salmon. Eight of us went to dinner at the Seafire last night & I have to say ... it was a great dining experience. After reading some of the Elite Reviewers comments before hand, I was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was warm but classy, we had three servers (one for each couple), that gave us impeccable service. The wifey and I both started by splitting a wedge salad which she describes as yummy. We both had the small filet (mild rare), it absolutely melted in my mouth. We split a large bakers potato with their special bacon butter (yum). The group topped it all off with the pass-a-round of "sticky-icky" & chocolate sundae. If you haven't heard of the "sticky-icky" ... and you're a desert lover ... you have to check it out. We split a Caesar salad and some raw oysters for starters, then ordered a tomahawk steak, mac n cheese, brussels, and a baked potato. Each thing we received was even better than the last!! This was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time, from start to finish. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, but our waitress, Rochelle, was exceptional! Our waiter visited our table maybe 4 times throughout the whole night, while also rushing us to order. Gave us the wrong order, when we sent it back we asked for lemons to go with our LOBSTER, never received them nor did he ever come back. We asked 3 times. We finished our food before getting our correct sides so I told them to send it back and they walked out with it shortly after and the steak frites were quite literally hard potatoes. They Basically purposely cooked them terribly so they could close the kitchen down. (Our reservation was at 9:15 and they took 20 minutes to even come take our drinks so this was not our fault we were late.) They also never gave us our cake to celebrate. Last night/dinner while at Atlantis (when is Yelp going to properly add the Bahamas instead of using Florida when it comes to the Atlantis Resort?!) and the family thought we'd go out 'classy' with a steakhouse. Our first/only time in the Marina 'village' of Atlantis and it was this awesome little 'town' (complete with yachts costing a cool $10M and their staff/owners looking like they're living the very best life the rest of us could never even imagine). We were greeted by the hostesses and I'm pretty sure they gave us a cool reception because my kids were definitely not dressed properly (we only saw the dress code sign as we were walking in and hoped our kids were young/cute enough to slide by) but the rest of the staff were beyond professional and extremely cool. Resort.  Steakhouse.  We knew this dinner was going to really dent our wallet but you gotta go big (and then go home), right? Steaks - family said they were really good but not the best they've ever had. Salmon - yes, I'm that guy at a steakhouse - was just perfectly cooked and seasoned and not a skimpy size. Sides - Brussels sprouts were incredible, the steak fries were massive slabs of potato with a great odd/unique coating of seasoning, baked potato was tender (I didn't bother with the jerk mayo or any of that other stuff they gave with the sides). The Mrs. really dug her Cesar salad.  (And she swore that the bread was great as well.) Wine (another place not shy about hyping their collection of thousand-dollar-bottles, huh?!) - a glass of their (house) pinot noir was solid. Over $400 spent, no desserts/coffee either. read more

If you are visiting Atlantis, Seafire is a must!!! First, make a reservation if you can ahead of time because they get super busy around dinner time!!! The bar is first come first serve seating but if you want to sit in the main dining room a reservation is not required but recommended to minimize your wait time. Our server was a doll!! She was so attentive and present during our entire meal!! She was always wiling to answer and questions as well as make recommendations on menu items. She quickly took our drink orders and gave us some time to check out the menu. A bread basket is provided while you wait for your food. My Steakhouse Burger was great!!! A thick juicy burger cooked to my liking garnished with a huge onion ring and steak fries that were huge and all potato!!! Crisp on the outside and fluffy potato on the inside. The Oyster Rockefeller was decent, not he best one Ive had but it was still a contender in the taste department, plus the bacon was cooked extra crispy!!! The Crab Mac and Cheese is interesting!! The cavatappi pasta served as a catch all for the mixture of cheeses and chunks of crab meat. Super cheesy mac and the crab meet was not overpowering. When in the Bahamas you do as the Bahamians do and have a Kalik to bring your experience full circle. I did recognize that our server bought a chilled glass for the beer, however I like my beer right from the bottle. The service was good and everyone was friendly when interacting with your table. Do not expect rapid service as island time is a thing and in all fairness I asked for them to bring the food out as it was ready instead of waiting for everyone's food to be ready which they obliged.
