Right on the beach. Beautiful view. Thin crust pizzas really good! The lentil vegan burger was delicious too. Prices are not too steep like the other ones in the area. Service was spot on. Goombay Smash was meh. But I guess you get what you pay for! Overall, great lunch option on the beach.

Came here for the views! We got here around 5:30pm on a Saturday at the end of April and got seated right away. The menu is a mix of American, Bahamian, and Japanese (they have sushi). We got BBQ ribs with Bahamian style peas & rice and coconut shrimp. The food was okay - nothing super outstanding but it's the views! Just a note that the Bahamian style peas & rice is on the chewy side (harder compared to Asian rice) but the seasoning is pretty interesting! The view is absolutely stunning! There's a back door where you can walk down to the beach - and there's a hidden hammock down there as well! It's right across the street from Sandyport resort hotel! Or if you are staying at Sandyport resort hotel, take the back exit of the hotel to go directly to the back entrance of the restaurant to save you some walking!

    Mahi Mahi with Lentils

We were in the Bahamas for a volunteer work assignment and after the assignment my wife and I wanted to enjoy some time together. We decided to try Blue Sail and we were very excited to try it primarily because of the location with great ocean views and ambiance but also hopeful the quality of the food would meet a high standard. We were seated in a nice spot right on the deck with a great view and the weather was beautiful that evening too. But the service was not exceptional, actually average. It seemed to be that way at many of the places we visited on the island, so we weren't surprised by that. However the food was somewhat disappointing. We ordered 2 appetizers, the Mediterranean plate which was very good and the grouper tacos, also good. My wife ordered the Mahi Mahi with lentils, the lentils were dry and overcooked and just not seasoned well. I ordered the Mahi Mahi burger with fries and a side of cole slaw. The sandwich was decent and the tarter sauce was nothing special. The French fries were from a bag and similar to fries that one would get at a bar. I had asked for ketchup for those fries and was expecting a small dish with ketchup in it, however, I was given 3 packets of fast food style ketchup....I'm like, WHAT!?!?! What a joke, we dropped $120 on our dinner and walked away saying to ourselves that we wouldn't ever go back to that place. It's a great place for views but we didn't find the food very memorable.

We came for dinner with a group of 11. The location is indeed scenic overlooking the water, they take reservations and they worked with us on several changes as we added additional members to our group. We had a variety of different dishes and the general consensus is that the pizza was the thing to order. They could not do separate checks and they don't take American Express.

Beautiful view while dining if the ocean.

Great food. The Conch Fritters are amazing. The bartender, Shakira, she is fantastic. She is DEFINITELY a master mixologist. Everyone is so friendly. It is such a peaceful spot for having a meal. I also had their pizza. Very skeptical. GREAT GREAT FLAVOR. Thin crust. 10. ABSOLUTELY without a doubt recommend.

The place feels much more modern and inviting now. Our family especially enjoys the beyti kebab, the güveç, and their pide. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but since their pide is very good, I imagine the pizza would also be solid. For me though, the real highlight at Alibaba is the mezze. In Turkish cuisine, grilled meats and kebabs are almost always enjoyed with a variety of mezze. They might technically be sides, but they're a big part of the whole experience. These days there are several Turkish kebab places in the area, but none of them offer a wide selection of fresh, house-made mezze like Alibaba does. At many places you're lucky if you find one or two options, often just a basic ezme. At Alibaba you'll find around ten different mezze and each one tastes distinct and freshly made. Every time I tell myself I'll just take a little... and somehow I end up filling a big mezze plate. Honestly, even when we grill at home, our motivation is picking up mezze from Alibaba to go with it. I'm not sure if it gets the credit it deserves, but don't skip the mezze here -- you'd be missing out. In fact, start with the mezze and figure out the rest later :))

And now that I have, it's actually a bit of a problem -- because whenever I travel and order falafel somewhere else, it almost always ends in disappointment. Mamoun's completely changed my opinion. The color, the texture, the seasoning, and that perfectly crispy bite in every mouthful -- whatever their secret is, this is the falafel that made me love falafel. The owner is also one of the kindest and most welcoming people you'll meet. Always polite, well-dressed, and genuinely warm. If you see him there, say hello -- he's a pleasure to chat with. Beyond the falafel, I've tried most of the platters on the menu. The kebabs are very flavorful and juicy. The baba ghanoush, hummus, and falafel are consistently fresh and delicious. The bourani might actually be my favorite way to eat spinach, and the mjadra is a fantastic, flavorful alternative to the usual white rice. I've been coming here for years and the quality has never changed -- which is rare and worth appreciating. I sincerely hope it stays exactly the same for many years to come.
