This restaurant was great the atmosphere and the live music made everything an enjoyable experience. I started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which was extremely good and flavorful. I ordered the ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and I got a side of the brandy Demi sauce. I will say my meat was a little undercooked. The bartender had no problem bringing my steak back and asking them to put it back on the grill. I will definitely come back here. The bartender made me some lemon drops. It was overall a great experience

Ambiance is chill and not a bright setting. But not too dark either. Id say the crowd is over 35 for sure. But food is delicious. The bar always has a great bartender. Taller gentleman. Sometimes a small one man band will be playing live music. Good place for a first date you wont have to yell over a crowd. Its at the far end of the center. Heading North - its before the 7-11

It used to be a French restaurant for about 20 years and then kept changing hands with different types of cuisine. I am really hoping that is one of those restaurants that will make it. Our dinner experience here tonight was extremely pleasant. This is a huge restaurant with three rooms and a bar. There's a choice of about seven entrées and several salads and appetizers. We were a party of three and decided to try Pomona because we've never eaten there before. To start out with, I have got to give a shout out to our waiter Liam. I'm a senior citizen and I've eaten all over the world in many restaurants of every size and reputation, but I have never had a waiter as good as Liam. Even in Michelin five star restaurants in Europe . He was extremely pleasant, courteous, personable and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience. Let's face it. The food can be extraordinary, but if the weight staff sucks, then the experience is horrible. On the other hand of food could be mediocre, but if the service is outstanding, then you might overlook the mediocrity . It was the little things our waiter did like in between the appetizers and the salads and the main meal he came and gave us new napkins and changed all of our silverware. I have not even seen this in five star restaurants. He checked up on us frequently, which is something that waiters rarely do in any restaurant nowadays -- they usually take your order and that's the last you'll see of them until it's time for the check. But Liam checked on us frequently and make sure we had water and whatever we needed. Both my husband and I ordered the herb encrusted grouper. It was literally melt in your mouth grouper with some type of sauce that was made in heaven. The presentation was over orzo. I also had a Caesar salad. The third member of our party had the vodka penne. She loves Italian food and she said it was delicious. The portions were so huge that we had to take some home. Everyone in our party also had a Moscow Mule. For the quality of the food and the service this place was very reasonable --a party of three with cocktails, dinner, appetizers, and salad came to $155 before tax and tip. We will definitely return. And here is hoping that Pomona will last because we need a restaurant like this in downtown Lake Worth.

As it was, it's a splendid excuse to have lunch there again very soon, plus there are menu items I've yet to check out. They have a really nice outdoor seating area, complete with heaters when needed. We chose to dine inside. The vibe inside the restaurant was kind of a boho rustic feel, and I really liked it. Soft lighting and music really set the tone. We were immediately greeted by our server, Gustavo, and given our menus. We don't drink, but they had a nice selection of drinks, cocktails and spirits. We decided to start with the sweet and sour cauliflower. It was absolutely delicious! Cauliflower battered and fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce. For our entree we shared the 44oz Creekstone ribeye. It was served with charred broccolini and and a fried airy potato side dish that was out of this world! The steak came sliced and off the bone, so it was perfect for sharing. It was served with 3 toppings; a horseradish sauce, a balsamic glaze, and delicious mixture of sliced peppers. Our steak was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. We did not have dessert there, as we had a birthday cake at home. And I feel remiss that I didn't even look to see what they had. Overall, it was the perfect place to have a romantic, celebratory dinner! Thanks Driftwood. *Just a Note ~ I found it odd they added a 20% tip on a 2 top table, and I was glad I noticed it on the bill before we double tipped.

A few of the things I liked.. - Fruit juice used for mixers is made in-house fresh daily. The drinks are creative and made well. - The sweet and sour cauliflower, the sliders, the chicken and dumplings. - Servers are always knowledgeable and attentive - indoor and outdoor seating with fans on a warm day. Upscale vibe with dim lighting. - plenty of parking A few I didn't.. - The fish dip was just ok - the fried part of the southern fried chicken while juicy on the inside, lacked flavor - the up charge for almond vanilla milk in the espresso martini without being told up front of the added cost -the steak tartare happy hour portion is 1 bite-sized piece. Just offer the normal sized portion for a reduced happy hour price as opposed to 1/4th the portion for 1/3rd the price. Overall I would say every experience is good but not great. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try and seeing if you agree with my review.

Our server was so attentive and helpful--Liam. The decor was very cozy Florida style but I kept smelling cleaning solution now and again so that's not so good. The menu is really eclectic as you read through it. Fried rice and French dip and tacos on the same menu? But.. We loved the apps! I wish I just ordered the ceviche for my meal. It was fresh and zesty. The others loved the thanksgiving empanada which was basically an empanada with turkey and cranberry, etc. Tuna poke was also loved. The tallow fries tasty but I liked the regular ones better. But basically everyone loved all the fries. Entrees were just mediocre. The French dip would, have been nice but the beef was too thick and overcooked and the roll was thick and doughy. The cheese shouldn't be on a French dip at all, but even more so when it was congealed and not melted. Skip this one. The tacos were decent though. The snapper was really good but a little overcooked and seriously over salted. No room for dessert. Love the bar because they accommodated a silly pisco sour request with a humorous creative twist! So yes the food is uneven but I actually would go back because the apps were great, the cat was cute, the bar was clever and our server Liam was just the best.

The many times that I've been here, the food and drink have always hit just right and the service is quick - even when the place is packed. The berry Greek yogurt crepes are tangy, sweet, crunchy, and all together, a great combination of flavors and textures. There are so many berries - enough for each bite. The granola is the perfect juxtaposition to the soft, thin crepes that are filled with a tangy yogurt. The portion size is more than enough for one person, possibly even two. Unless I'm driving, I always start off my meal with one of their cocktails. My two favorites are their piña colada and bloody Mary. They're both tall, strong, and flavorful - perfect while watching to waves crash into the shore. I would also recommend their spanakopita when it's on their specials. Their Greek omelet is delicious too. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, and the great part about this place besides its food and drink is that you can take a leisurely stroll on the beach after breakfast or brunch and make the day extra special!

My friend told me their burger was a hit, so I came to see it for myself. John was taking care of me and my friend at the bar. The cocktail menu is a real pleasure to read through from a tequila forward bar to frozen drinks there's not a single cocktail that looks just thrown on there. In honor of Cowboy Bebop I first tried the Space Cowboy, which is kinda what it sounds like; out of this world. Passion fruit, Mezcal with a subtle note of spice added from the Dijon in the drink. They chill it to perfect point of being a frozen drink which added some fun into their caliber. Balanced and yet bold. Bar top looked fun n deco. Believe it or not; it's a chill cafe during the day and a disco ball experience at night. From sun up to sun down there goal is to make it a great hangout for locals and anyone who wanders in. To start off I got the Foie Gras and grilled baby bok choy which both were done so well. The Foie Gras, on top of the presentation, danced on my tongue with a subtle Smoke flavor given from their wood fire grill and a nice nuttiness from the peanut whip they paired it with. The pork belly bok choy had a perfect crunch from the green, and the pork belly just came in like big brother and added a dynamic of softness from the fat that you just can't beat. I landed on choosing their blood orange & ginger mocktail while I waited for my burger. Ginger candy cold foam was phenomenal. Unexpected 10/10. The burger though I'd say was a nice cherry on top that needed no introduction. My friend certainly delivered on a good burger joint. Wonderful sauce and beautiful char. Lastly I had the cookies n cream which is made fresh to order. Biscoff butter ice cream and cc cookie was certainly the best way to end off this evening. The goal of course with any menu is to not be a gloater but a shower and they have certainly done just that. You'll never know by outside looks alone until you try it but this place is a wallflower and an amazing time. Good job to the kitchen staff there and excellent job to whoever designed this experience. You made somebody's night.

It's like sitting next to a warming fire. This time we tried the grilled asparagus, the grilled baby bok choy with pork belly and gorgonzola (our favorite), the luncheonette burger with crispy fries, the double cut pork chop with grilled cabbage and pickled mustard seed, and the waygu lamb (I know, a lot of food!). Everything was fantastic but the burger initially came out a bit undercooked (we ordered it medium) so they cooked it a bit more and quickly brought it back. I thought the lamb wagyu was a bit light on the meat, the pork chop was amble and laid out nicely on the plate. We also tried the watermelon tequila drink (very refreshing and not too sweet), an old fashioned, and they have a good list of wines. We love the big cube in cocktails. I don't know how they got them to be so clear. The bar tender was great and the cooks were working very hard. The owner always comes by to say hello and chat. Second Rodeo varies the menu.
