We arrived and it took a while to even get acknowledged. When we finally caught the server's attention, she ended up helping another table and just left my sister and me waiting. After about five minutes, I decided to walk over to the bar and found seats there. The bartenders were super friendly and accommodating, which was a plus.
As for the food, it was pretty average--guacamole was okay, but the chip that came with it was super stale. We decided to share a barbacoa bowl, but it was a bit of a mess. They initially brought out tacos instead of the main dish, and it took another 10 minutes for our actual order to arrive. When it finally showed up, the bowl was lacking in rice and meat, and it was pretty bland. For $27, it definitely wasn't worth it--especially when you can go to Fieldtrip (Rice bowl spot on premises) and get way more for less.
And honestly, the service from the maître d' was terrible. It was a frustrating experience all around. Overall, the food needs some serious work, and the service could use some improvement--especially from management--if they want to keep customers happy. read more
