The food was the same each morning, but great for a bagel and coffee and maybe a piece of fresh fruit. Very quiet at night. No problems with parking. Small pool and lots of seating areas outside. Staff was working outside making sure all was presentable and taken care of the 4 days we were there. Checkin was different with a robot type setup. Quick and easy. DJ the manager was easy to talk to and helpful when we called a few times before our stay. Would recommend for a quiet place to stay without all the big commercial hotels and loud surroundings. Only negative is that the parking is not included in price. $19 and tax per day.

I am leaving this review to honestly document what we experienced at Ocean Sands Beach Boutique…read moreInn, because this was one of the most disturbing hotel stays we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, things felt off. There is no front desk staff on site. Check-in is done through a large screen with someone overseas. The building smelled bad, and there was no one physically present to help. Check-in took over 30 minutes because the person on the screen claimed they could not find our reservation. Once it was found, we were told the pet fee was $79 and the deposit was $50. Despite this, they attempted to charge more than $200, which did not match the stated fees. We had to manually calculate the total and repeatedly say no before it was corrected. What was more concerning was how payments were handled. The representative tried to charge a deposit before we authorized it or even provided card information, then claimed our card was declining. After we tapped to pay, we received multiple notifications showing repeated attempts to charge the $50 deposit. We were also required to submit photos of our IDs, which felt inappropriate given the lack of on-site management. We were then given key cards and assigned room 420, which does not exist upstairs. There are no elevators, so we carried our luggage up and down the stairs only to find out from a cleaning staff member that the room was actually downstairs, in a corner next to an ice machine, public bathroom, vending machines, ATM, and the check-in screen. The room was not the room we booked. The door did not have a working key card reader and had to be opened with a staff key. We asked to change rooms and were told none were available, even though we were told by staff and saw online that rooms were still open. The noise that night was nonstop. People were yelling, running up and down stairs, slamming the ice machine, using the bathroom next to our room, and checking in late at night right outside our door. Every conversation at the check-in screen could be heard clearly inside our room. We contacted the screen again and were dismissed, told nothing could be done, and informed there would be no staff on site until 5 AM. We finally fell asleep around 2 AM from exhaustion. The next morning, both of us felt unwell. I experienced wheezing and respiratory irritation, and my partner woke up with a sore throat. The sink and shower water smelled like sewage. When we inspected the bed, we found a large urine stain on the bed cover and visible mold on the pillowcases. The sheets were wrinkled and clearly not properly cleaned. We documented everything with photos and videos and left immediately. Between the lack of staff, misleading room assignment, unsafe and confusing payment handling, extreme noise, and unsanitary conditions including mold, this place should not be operating as a hotel. We would never stay here again and strongly warn others to avoid it.

From the moment we arrived, we experienced an old-world charm and outstanding hospitality that exceeded our expectations. The historic ambiance, combined with modern features and an incredibly attentive staff, made for a memorable and romantic retreat. Our stay in the Francesca room was a particular highlight. We were surprised to discover that the room was ready hours in advance of the standard check-in time, a thoughtful touch that allowed us to settle in and start our celebration early. The room itself was beautiful, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed, a whirlpool tub, and decor that held a charming, old-world feel. The outside shared balcony allowed some evening time to sit in the rocking chairs and people watch. The attentiveness of the staff was amazing and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was met with warmth and genuine helpfulness. They were always ready with a kind word or assistance with directions and local recommendations. This level of customer service created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where we felt completely at home. The culinary offerings at the B&B were another standout feature. The included breakfasts were delicious and artfully prepared by on-staff personnel. We were treated to a two-course meal each morning, which was a far cry from standard hotel fare. The dining area was beautifully decorated for the holiday, adding a festive and intimate touch to our morning routine. In the evenings, the nightly happy hour with wine and hors d'oeuvres was a nice social experience, allowing us to mingle with other guests. We chose to take our wine to the gazebo in the private courtyard. Finally, the serene environment provided a much-needed escape. The enclosed private courtyard with a trickling fountain was incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quiet moment. We will definitely be back.

They served the best biscuits and gravy (second only to my own and my daughters's) on the first morning and incredible French toast, more like a bread pudding on the next morning. I was so surprised by the amount and taste of the food. Pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, real orange juice, soft drinks, wine (at social hour), cappuccino, several selections of other coffees, bacon, sausage, and so much more. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The pictures were of the small bathroom, comfy bedroom, outside courtyard with fountain, and the breakfasts. So many small home touches, for example between 7-9 PM they served home made desserts. Parking in town is a big plus!!! Not only easy, but everything is within walking distance even in the heat of summer. What a lovely place. I almost forgot the pool to cool off in. Five stars.!!.
