The food was the same each morning, but great for a bagel and coffee and maybe a piece of fresh fruit. Very quiet at night. No problems with parking. Small pool and lots of seating areas outside. Staff was working outside making sure all was presentable and taken care of the 4 days we were there. Checkin was different with a robot type setup. Quick and easy. DJ the manager was easy to talk to and helpful when we called a few times before our stay. Would recommend for a quiet place to stay without all the big commercial hotels and loud surroundings. Only negative is that the parking is not included in price. $19 and tax per day.

Horrible Experience with Management…read more My experience with the manager/owner, DJ Patel, was extremely disappointing and disturbing! I originally booked a stay for my elderly father, but within 30 minutes realized the hotel has no elevators. Because he has serious knee problems, the property was not accessible for him. Despite explaining the situation and that we live seven hours away, the manager refused to refund the reservation. Instead, he issued a credit for a future stay. When I later used that credit to book a three-night stay, I specifically confirmed with DJ Patel that the credit would cover the entire cost. He assured me it would. At check-in, however, my father was told he would have to pay a $45 fee to check in... just 30 minutes early, plus an additional $187 that had never been disclosed. When I contacted the manager to ask that he honor what he had confirmed, he refused and, instead of addressing the issue professionally, told me that I "needed medical assistance." I remained respectful throughout every interaction and simply asked that the hotel honor the agreement that had been confirmed. Instead, I encountered misleading pricing, shifting explanations, and a deeply inappropriate personal insult. No customer should be treated this way. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect was far worse than the financial dispute itself. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience with its dishonest, unprofessional and disrespectful management.

From the moment we arrived, we experienced an old-world charm and outstanding hospitality that exceeded our expectations. The historic ambiance, combined with modern features and an incredibly attentive staff, made for a memorable and romantic retreat. Our stay in the Francesca room was a particular highlight. We were surprised to discover that the room was ready hours in advance of the standard check-in time, a thoughtful touch that allowed us to settle in and start our celebration early. The room itself was beautiful, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed, a whirlpool tub, and decor that held a charming, old-world feel. The outside shared balcony allowed some evening time to sit in the rocking chairs and people watch. The attentiveness of the staff was amazing and consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was met with warmth and genuine helpfulness. They were always ready with a kind word or assistance with directions and local recommendations. This level of customer service created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where we felt completely at home. The culinary offerings at the B&B were another standout feature. The included breakfasts were delicious and artfully prepared by on-staff personnel. We were treated to a two-course meal each morning, which was a far cry from standard hotel fare. The dining area was beautifully decorated for the holiday, adding a festive and intimate touch to our morning routine. In the evenings, the nightly happy hour with wine and hors d'oeuvres was a nice social experience, allowing us to mingle with other guests. We chose to take our wine to the gazebo in the private courtyard. Finally, the serene environment provided a much-needed escape. The enclosed private courtyard with a trickling fountain was incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quiet moment. We will definitely be back.

I was told I would receive a call back and that the manager would be made aware of my inquiry. It has now been three weeks with absolutely no follow up. I completely understand if availability or the package itself isn't a good fit, but simply communicating that would have been appreciated. When a business actively offers elopement packages, I would expect a basic level of responsiveness to prospective guests. Unfortunately, the lack of communication has made me decide to not book with this property altogether.

It was okay as the other 3rd floor room was vacant. Our room is very small. The main part of the house is charmingly restored. The front desk clerk is exceptionally accommodating. We loved the gift bottle of sherry and the exquisit aftrnoon treats. Having stayed in some similar antique bed and breakfast establishments, I have to say we were disappointed in the breakfast experience. The little buffet was nicely done offering a different breakfast everyday. Our day was egg-cup day and, ufortunately, it was quite dry. Even though the room was cute, the waitstaff was quite shabbily dressed. It distracted from the charm. Perhaps a nice apron would help. I think it's about a half mile walk to the famous, cobblestoned part of George Street. We got a free tram ride back. The grounds of the Inn are lovely and quaint. It's special to know you stayed in the oldest inn in Florida!

Fresh baked goods during the day (the pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies in the fall were soooo good). Homemade dessert at night. Real sangria with brandy in the evenings on the weekend. Classic decanters in the room for reception to fill with sherry. Breakfast comes with mimosas and bloody Mary's on the weekends. Elle was a gem at the front desk. The whole team really puts in the effort to make the entire experience come together.
