The problem I have is with the…read moreshady practices they use when locking people into sales then including hidden installation fees. My wife went to them for a hair color and extentions. She was told she would need to put 660 dollars down for the treatment then for the extentions and then they would be installed the next week. We asked if there would be any extra charge for installation, and didn't receive word back nor did they say anything before they talked me into the appointment for her. A few days after the stylist got the extentions she then told us that it would be 120 dollars for her to install them on top of it.. I have done contracting and have run many of my own sales and estimates, and never has it been okay to get someone to make a major purchase of hundreds of dollars. Then later on hit them with hidden fees of hundreds more since they are already locked in for a large amount. That is incredibly disingenuous ​and an amazing way to loose customers instead of having repeat clients. There is no reason to not tell the total cost up front, if the client doesn't want to pay that. Oh well, someone will probably, there is no reason to hold back hundreds of dollars of extra fees for installation when you can just be up front about it just so you can lock in a sale.. thats bad business, and they have definitely lost mine.

I called and got an appointment for the very next day! Krystle is amazing!!! I have naturally light brown hair but I high light it blonde. She used like 3 colors and used plastic wrap- totally cool technique I had never experienced before! My high lights are the best they have EVER been!! They go right to the roots and look very natural. She used Aveda products (which I love) and recommended some things to help me style my hair at home. GO SEE KRYSTLE! She is the best! I moved to Philly so I no longer go there, however, I wanted to treat my 15 year old niece to getting her nails done while I am in town visiting, so I took her here. we arrived to the salon, Cindy remembered me and all was well. My niece showed her a picture of what she wanted done and Cindy said no problem. So after an hour of my niece getting her nails done, they were not looking anything like the picture she showed Cindy...My niece simply asked if they would be shiny and look more like the photo once she was done (it was nearing the end so my niece was getting worried they wouldnt) and after she asked this simple question politely, Cindy went off! It was the craziest, weirdest thing I have ever witnessed. I will never understand why she was so rude and mean over not providing the requested service. She started yelling, standing up, stomping around and said I can't do that picture, a place in canadaigua can but it costs $75, so just go there!!! First of all, if you knew you couldn't do it, tell us that in the first place so that either we could do a different look all together or go somewhere else but instead she waited til she was nearly done to tell us this. So, then, my niece was just asking what her options were because she was unhappy with her nails and Cindy takes nail clippers and CUTS THE TIPS ALL OFF and tells us to get out.... I am not exaggerating when I tell you we weren't rude, (I'm in customer service myself so I get it), and she treated customers this way? And on top of it I now have too pay $5 in ATM fees for nothing. My neice now has acrylic on the bottom half of her nails and needs to soak it off on our own time and had to buy supplies to do so.
