As a first time customer I tried to book online for the first time but I received an error message. I called and left a voicemail. Ty called me back the same day and scheduled my appointment. She didn't charge me a deposit and allowed me to pay the day of my appointment. I even emailed them before the appointment to fill out my forms and they were sent promptly. My actual session with Anne was so amazing. She asked if the pressure and temp were ok. In the end she asked if I had any questions and I told her she did this thing on my back where it felt like she was popping little jelly balls. She explained that's the myofascial and how it builds up and talked about the specific massage Ty does for that. I highly recommend and will be going back! She is not only personable, but well versed in a variety of techniques to address each client's particular goals. I did the reflexology for one hour and was more than pleased. I have been a loyal customer of Ty's. I started with her back in 2008 before she began Rising Earth Massage and went to her frequently - once a month because I was making what seemed like ALOT of money to a young person. When she began her business in 2010, it was a struggle. She put much effort into attracting clients and retaining current business. Due to the excellent quality of work she provides, the business turned into a success. My life and job situation changed however and I could no longer afford to go as often. BUT I still went when I could and I told her the reason why I had to cut back. I was hoping to go again more often in the future. I work to the bone , but who doesn't now a days and I support small local business with my money. I recently got myself in over my head with my schedule between work and trying to buy my first home. I ended up missing my first appointment ever in 6 years. I apologized profusely and I know being a small business owner is a MAJOR life commitment. However I was shown NO forgiveness. My credit card was charged for $100.00. It was alluded to that if I was a more frequent client, perhaps the charge wouldn't have been applied. I was told "it is nothing personal, it is just business". That is 10 hours worth of work I must now do to make up for my lost $100.00 dollars on a one and half hour massage. And shame on me, I shouldn't have gotten myself overwhelmed by life's events and remembered to cancel my appointment in a timely fashion, but every now and again, life slips out of control for everyone. read more
