Apparently they don't exchange Christmas scrub tops. I had gotten a gift and it was the wrong size. Went in to ask if I could exchange and the lady that worked there said they couldn't exchange it because it was a Christmas scrub top. I then pointed out to her that it didn't say that on the gift receipt and that it has its tags because it has not been worn. She looked at it and said that I was right but I still could not exchange it because it was a Christmas top.... I've never had a pleasant experience here. I'll be happy to say I'll be taking my business elsewhere and informing my peers of this incident. read more

Just bought a few sets of scrubs here today, and was impressed with the selection, organization and customer service! Doug, the owner, has a great knowledge about the different brands, the styles, how they fit, and pricing. I have to buy "tall" pants, and it was so nice being able to try on multiple styles in the store in addition to getting information about ordering additional style options if needed. I had better luck here than the other two main scrub chains in San Diego. MUCH better customer service and selection. I'll definitely be back! read more

SOOOO RUDE!!! I went in to exchange a couple tops I received as a gift for a larger size. They had never been worn and still had the tags on them. The lady kept saying I had to have a receipt that it was policy. I explained they were a gift and had never been used. She was super rude and kept repeating herself liked was stupid. Well I came in prepared to spend a couple hundred dollars in cash for new scrubs for my new job. I was so mad I walked out and didn't spend a dime. Maybe if you were a little nicer and more flexible you would have made some decent money from me. Taking my business elsewhere and supporting another business who actually knows how to treat their customers with respect. This is a great tucked away scrub store, that just so happens to be open on Sundays. Which works out so well for me, that's usually the day I have to go scrub shopping. They have a vast selection of different tops, bottoms, jackets, shoes, galore! Nice large dressing room to try on and the lady behind the counter is helpful and gives good advise. Let's face it, scrub shopping isn't fun, but at least it isn't painful here! read more

The store is nothing special. They have a lot of potential because they do have a wide variety of scrubs and a lot to choose from, which I like (although I wish there were more animal prints but that's just me because I work in an animal clinic). It's the customer service I am concerned with. I was the only customer in the store and the employee sat behind the counter the whole time, ignoring me. I don't expect someone to be giddy and all over me when I walk into an establishment, but I do expect to at least FEEL welcomed into the store. All in all, there is no wow factor. There is lack of decent customer service. It's just a place you come to, quickly find what you're looking for, and scram. read more

I made no purchase...... I really love their prices and selection of scrubs. BUT the customer service was horrible. I was the only person in the store. I was not greated until I wanted to try on some scrubs and the mean condecending girl behind the register stated to not get any cover up on the clothes- isnt the large sign in your dressing room stating if you get cover up on the clothes you will be forced to buy it enough??? Also note- I had no cover up or lip stick on the day I was looking to purchase my scrubs and lab coat. If this store had another cashier with a pleasant and customer service friendly attitude I would definitely make this my main place to purchase scrubs but I prefer to pay a little extra for great service. I will not return or will I ever reccomend this scrub mart to my friends/ family/ co workers/ staff. read more

Okay So I've made some purchases here in the past as needed along the years. Never have I been wowed going into this place, other than having a lot of options. The workers/owners ehhh are kind of blahh. I recently went in looking for new sets and had issues with ordering online previously and fit etc etc. so I tried on almost every brand in xs and even petite and nothing fit good! I was almost ready to settle on a koi set that didn't even fit that great and I saw a clearance pant I liked so I tried it and loved the fit so ended up making a special order for the color I needed with the matching top. Okay so first what I find ridiculous is if they do an order why is it final sale ? Even ordering online you can send back to the merchant but okay not a big deal. The lady who did the order was not friendly. She did answer questions but it was almost as I was inconveniencing her. Anyways I was told that the order would be there by Friday and clearly wasn't and they didn't even give me a courtesy call I had to call them! So Monday it comes in I run in to grab the order and man oh man she is straight rude!!! As I was leaving I said thanks and she didn't say not a single word. Not even an mmhmm!! Like are you kidding me. So this Yelp was very much needed because she needs some customer service training. Spoke to another friend of mine who had been there and she said the exact same thing about THE SAME LADY!! Never spend a single dime here. Not nice people and plus the prices are ridiculously over priced. Just go somewhere else or order online. But go here if you truly don't care about customer service then you'll be A okay! read more

If I could give it ZERO stars I would. The lady there, Jennifer, didn't utter a single word to my family and I when we entered the store. Nor did she offer any assistance. We were in there for a good twenty minutes before she said anything to us and it was to rudely tell my daughter to stop playing under the racks. She did, however warmly greet and assist a white lady that was there. I guess because my family and I are Mexicans she assumed we weren't going to buy anything. She only asked if we needed help once I asked for her name and walked out of the store. I will never set foot in that store again. I gladly took my business and money elsewhere where I was treated like a human being. Such a shame that this place is losing business based on that individual's extremely poor customer service skills. read more

I've always bought scrubs online. But THIS was much easier. The gentleman who helped me was very informative and when they didn't have the size pant scrub I needed, he said they could order it for me. I needed this lab coat pronto! I called everywhere NO ONE had one, and all they could say was " Get it on line". I finally found scrub mart. Right off the freeway. I called ahead of time to make sure it was within my price range and that they had the size I needed. I was soooo fortunate to get Michelle on the phone. She gave great directions and was gonna close shortly so I had to run in and run out! I love the choices that they have here. Really friendly staff, many brands, and many designs. Some of the really cute designs are like about $19 or so, but they have some really good sales - solid colored scrubs for $5. Amazing customer service! This place was so packed when I came in the middle of the day on a Thursday. There was only one employee working, and it seemed like everyone had a question, or needed her opinion on style/fit. I wish I remembered her name, but she was so calm, cool, and collected under the pressure! When it was finally my turn to check out, she was so polite, cheerful, and friendly! I will never come back to this place again because of their horrible customer service. The heavy set lady with the red tattoo on her arm is rude, and would rather surf the net than help me. Once I got her attention, she sounded upset that I interrupted her. I know a lot of people in healthcare, and trust me, I will let everyone know to never come here, unless they want to walk out feeling like sh%^t. I went to Love Scrubs after that, and the customer service was amazing and I walked out with $160 worth of stuff, and happy. Neat little shop that offers a wide array of scrubs! Lotsa different brands and colors. Dickies makes the best scrubs that arent too puffy. The lady that works there is super friendly and always willing to help. Good prices and good selection. All ur scrubs needs under one roof. Dickies Hip Flip are the bomb! Lots of uni's here! : ) so. I took the wife her for her to look at some stethoscopes and possibly buy if she found one that suited her needs and expectations. I was highly impressed by the shops employee's dedication to helping us even with others in the store she stuck with us the whole time and answered all of our questions. My only complaint if you would call it that was the store is a bit small.....hope they could expand the store at some point. Its a bit hard to thumb through all of the scrubs when its that tight. Customer service is very important for customers, business owners and employees. When I walked in the la Mesa location I was encountered with a very rude lady who yelled at my son. I contacted the manager Doug right away..who was very apologetic and very respectful. He did everything to make things right, to make sure I was taken care of. Not only did he put his employees in their place but made sure they understood that THERE IS NO SECOND CHANCES ON FIRST IMPRESSIONS. Doug is a great manager and has a great heart. I know he will continue to make things right with his customers and employees. Everyone has a bad day, but remember to leave the drama at home. read more

Just got back from purchasing a labcoat. The labcoat is significantly smaller than the scrub selection, but really, there are only so many things you're looking for in a coat. I found the prices to be fairly reasonable ($21.99 for a M white coat that comes to mid-thigh and has a gathered, soft sleeve and darts to feminize the coat). I found the selection of everything to be great. The sign above the store simply reads "scrubs". The shopkeeper can be a little off-putting, but I found her to be pleasant. read more

Love this store I have gone in a few times and every time the guy at the desk is so nice. They have a wide variety to choose from including Dickies, Cherokee, Koi, and Grays Anatomy. If you're a big girl like me and you need a larger size they can special order it for you, the orders usually come in within a week or so I was told. I just wish the store were bigger and after talking to one of the employees I was told they were expanding. I'll be back for sure. read more

This was my first real scrubs buying experience since I was a volunteer over 10 years ago, but I've worked with enough nurses to know the look I was going for. The guy behind the counter was SUPER helpful - I am tiny (think 5'0" and small boned) and had a specific idea of what I was looking for - and he guided me to the exact section I needed to be in. I have always liked the fit of the cargo Dickie's and being a petite junior, they don't have everything in the store in the colors offered. The guy behind the desk made sure I knew that they would be happy to place an order for any additional colors/styles for no additional charge, and it would be available within a week. Can't beat that! Also, Dickie's is manufactured and distributed by Cherokee now, so their sizing, colors, and durability are a lot more consistent, as a result. Next time, when I get my first real job and not just externing, I plan to go back for the Gray's Anatomy by Banco's which they sell, too. Just a little more than I could spend this time around, but 12 hours in those would make me one happy girl! read more

My friend and I went into this store and weren't treated with any respect. We were trying on maybe 3 tops and 3 bottoms and the lady that worked here complained that we're trying on too many things. She said that we were making her job difficult. We were paying customers but as soon as she said that we walked out. She was very rude to us and other customers in the store. I bought two set of scrubs a few months ago and I was impressed with the selection AND the service here. The owner was there but on his way out , and he we very polite and helpful. The sales lady was an outstanding sport with me being a goofball. She helped me pick out the perfect fitting scrubs that I was happy with. I look good in them. I also got the last Dickies backpack. This place is great! They have several different brands (cherokee, dickies, o2?, koi, etc.) for reasonable prices, and the store was organized! I was a little disappointed with the selection because it looked like they only carried a few of each color and size for the plain color scrubs. This probably won't be a problem, unless you're buying your scrub wardrobe for the first time and need more than one pair. I called ahead to make sure they had the stuff I needed and they told me when more stuff was coming in and everything was just fine. The guy working there was nice and helpful. I bought a Dickies top and the elastic pants and a pair of Cherokee drawstring pants both are comfortable and seem durable. The 02 (can't remember if that's the brand name) were one of the cheaper scrubs however, it didn't seem as durable as others. read more

I went in yesterday afternoon and had another pleasant visit. The lady sherene was friendly outgoing and professional. She was informative and explained all my questions. The gentleman working was also was professional yet not as outgoing and friendly as the lady. I can be very picky and complicated at timea however the lady was patient and gave me a great outlook on things pertaining to uniforms. The woman working at the counter was so rude. She is definitely hurting their business. I wanted to buy some shoes and try on some scrubs for size . She didn't want me to try on the scrubs since I didn't plan to buy them there that day. She pressed me for the name of the place where I work and the office manager there. Needless to say , I didn't buy the shoes there either. I will not plan on going back and plan to spread the word . This is a competitive market - customers have choices. Stopped by on Monday to shop for new scrubs. Lots of selection and organized very well - mens, womens brands, tops, bottoms etc. The dressing rooms were nice and tidy compared to other uniform stores with cramped closets. Shout out to Michelle who was so nice - she took time to explain the different brands and materials (how the fabric fits and washes). I needed a different size on the bottoms and she went and pulled the new size same brand. I did not have to go back and forth from the dressing room.
