The wifey had to pick up some scrubs here. Their prices are fair and sometimes cheaper than what you might find online. They have a huge selection of brands. Some brands you can find here include Dickies, Cherokee, Grey's Anatomy, and more. If they don't have your size or color, they could probably order it for you. The racks look a bit crammed, but I guess they want to put all of their inventory out for their customers. They also sell lab coats, scrub caps, and equipment/tools like stethoscopes, pen lights, shears, manual blood pressure cuffs, and more. It's a cool store, easy to find. It's right off of the 8 freeway (70th Street exit). They have another location, I think I remember it being in Chula Vista) but we have never visited that location. The very BEST scrubs store we've found in San Diego or in North County----and we've been to several. We've even tried Amazon. Their competitor (the ironically named "Love Scrubs") ripped us off for more than $130. I kid you not. Hi, I was in today and my return was not accepted. I wore the jacket once and washed it once, and the zipper broke. The cashier was very rude handling my inquiry stating that "well we don't make the clothes here, and asked if I followed the washing instructions and said , hes not the boss so..." the jacket was expensive and the fact that I cannot return something that ended up breaking is ridiculous. Yes you guys may not make the clothing but you represent them, and if you're going to charge $40 for a scrub jacket it better not break. I'd like a refund. read more

This is my go to place to get scrubs. Coming from someone who always needs to get pants hemmed. This is the only place that I can find that sells the right length for me without having to go somewhere to get them hemmed. They have multiple brands (Dickies, Cherokee etc) and different colors you can choose from. There's 2 fitting rooms to try on as well. It's never really busy when I go here usually only me and 1 other customer. Can't complain about their customer service as well. Def will come back if I ever need more scrubs. read more

This is my first time here since they expanded and it's way better now! There's more fitting rooms and more employees to help out, and most important there's a larger variety of scrubs to choose from. From a guys standpoint finding good scrubs is hard to do. For women there's so many choices here. The prices for scrubs for guys range from $10 tops and $10 bottoms, to $30 and up for each. And I'm pretty sure women can go up as high as $30 and up to for each top or bottom scrub because there are more high end brands for women there Like Koi or Toikidoki. You won't know of this place unless you heard it through word of mouth (like me), got a business card with a discount advertisement attached from your local private school such as Concorde (like my friend), or just plain google. The store has a good selection of scrubs and the prices are reasonable. Thing is, like most Scrub shops I've been to whether its at your local swap meet or retail store, there is just NO love and good selections for the male Healthcare employed shopper, especially big boys in need of an XL and beyond. The male staff member was helpful and suggested he can special order the scrubs but its no help if you want it NOW. Great selections for Women shoppers. Minimal selections for Male shoppers. Great strategizing, Scrub Mart! I just finished my 3rd, 12-hour shift at work, and had to sign some papers to start the "home-buying" process around the area. After that, my plans for the rest of the day were to sleep my life away, but noooooooooooooooo! Their giant, dull, basic SCRUB MART sign simply allured me in. I didn't necessarily need new scrubs, but I ended up spending +$200 on top of the amount I put down for escrow. The last time I purchased scrubs was probably 2 years ago. With the amount of scrubs I purchased, you'd think it was the end of the world because, you know... that's how imagine myself spending my last moments on this planet... in scrubs... probably elbow deep in poop. jk. The store is kinda small and cramped like almost every other scrub store alive, but seems to be the most organized. I was pretty amazed with the different types of Dickies were displayed. Usually brands are just clumped together, but Scrub Mart actually took the time and effort to separate each and every Dickies nook and cranny. The dressing room was also a bathroom, which was nice because I had to pee as I was trying on scrubs. And, I appreciate bathrooms that smell good. lol. The guy behind the counter was really nice, and helpful. He offered to order more scrubs for me if I didn't see anything I liked of if I wanted more colors. I commented on their Dickies collection, and somehow we ended up having a discussion about Dickies. Something was going on with that Dickies (bankruptcy?) and they halted production for awhile. If you know Dickies, their scrubs can be unreliable in size, color, length, material, stitching, etc. (i.e. not all pants are necessarily small. It may be labeled small, but it is actually extra small. If you try to match a blue top with a blue bottom, the shades of blue can be off, and so-on.) Anyway, well, I guess some other company (Cherokee?) bought out Dickies, and it's been a great investment. Clothing is more consistent, and they have better variety. I am a very picky person, and it's kind of funny how I only like Dickies despite it's history of inconsistencies. So if you are a Dickies nut like I, definitely stop by. Forget Ace Uniforms. If you're looking for an organized selection of medical scrubs, you've come to the right place! They have a great selection of Cherokee, Dickies, Koi, Urbane, etc. styles. If you're looking for Barco lines such as Grey's Anatomy, you will not find them here. I was told that they haven't carried Barco for ~8 years now, as they're not as popular. Understandable, but I do love fabric Barco uses - it's softer than any of the other brands I tried. I settled on a Hip Flip Dickies set because the pants (junior fit) are the slimmest available on the market, without being custom-made/tailored. Believe me, I've tried many! The HF top, although junior fit, is still a bit wide for my taste; the Barco Grey's Anatomy junior fit runs the smallest for tops. Their prices are very competitive - at most only $0.50 more than the lowest price I've seen on online. The owner was very helpful and informative, which is more than I can say about Ace Uniforms. Doug provides a personal experience, as he's very knowledgeable in the colors, fabrics, sizing, and styles of all the brands Scrub Mart carry. They also offer free shipping to the store, so you will only pay the price plus tax. A great deal since shipping has gotten very expensive lately. While I do agree that having the fitting room as a bathroom is a bit strange, the bathroom very well kept. No strange smells, and the full length mirror does its job. Plus, open 7 days a week? Came here yesterday on my "scrub shopping spree" since I'm going to start working soon. YAY! I didn't know how hard it is to find a scrub store in SD. I went to 5 different places to find scrubs. FYI Scrubs 4 U in Clairemont Mesa no longer exists. Now I've been to the Scrub Mart in San Marcos which is a small store but they a good amount of scrubs at a reasonable price. So I came to check out how the selection at the Scrub Mart in La Mesa was. I think both stores have a pretty nice collection of scrub tops. I was looking for cute printed ones and they had a whole bunch like Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Care Bears, lots of flowers and animal prints too. I definitely like that their scrubs aren't too pricey either. Only not so good thing is their dressing room is their bathroom which I happen to think isn't that sanitary but at least it's spacious and had a full length mirror. The staff at the San Marcos and La Mesa Scrub Mart are really nice and helpful. I got a cute Care Bear top and one with pink, blue and green flowers/butterflies. I had two interactions in this store, and the first one was great. I would give the first sales associate five stars. However, when I went in to exchange some items, the sales associate was rude and disrespectful. The woman that was working on the first day helped me find exactly what I was looking for in two different brands. I took the items home had my husband try them on so he could chose the one he liked. I came back to get another set of the scrubs he liked, and the man working there accused me of bringing in items that smelled like "smoke." I am clearly very pregnant. What an insulting thing to say! First of all, I've only had the items for one day. Second of all, why in the world would I bring in something that smelled like smoke? That is ludicrous! I think it was a ploy to have an excuse to not take them back, which is silly because I was already buying more items. That is the only reason I can think of for him to make up such a stupid lie.
