Our dog had ran through the back door screen and Alex recommended using the existing screen and just putting in a better quality seal. Told him I needed my slider screen door rescreened and he said he would be in the area the next day as he was going to another job nearby. Quoted me $95 for the new screen. Showed up the next day, communicated well and was on time. Start to finish in under 45 minutes. Paid exactly what I was quoted and took a credit card. Done and done. Absolutely recommend Alex!! I had a sliding screen door that has never worked right since I bought my house 3 years ago. Always askew/hard to move, and never felt it was on the tracks correctly. Was about to install one of those "Magic Screens" - you know with the magnetic strips. Alex was at my neighbors house, re-screening their windows, we spoke for a couple of minutes and he came over when the job was finished next door. He evaluated my screen, found some of the roller hardware was broken, including the interior mounting brackets. Also he found that it was an 1/8" too long. **Now here's the important part - Alex could have done the easy deal and sold me a new screen door for more than $300, INSTEAD he offer to take my screen door back to his shop to see if he had the parts to repair/adjust it. This was on late Wednesday afternoon before the 3 day Labor Day weekend. I gave Alex the door to take to his shop. Alex found the parts, took the entire frame apart, cut the length to shorten it, installed the replacement mounts &rollers, reassembled, and finally re-screened the the door. He had it back to me by Tuesday morning, which I thought was pretty quick given he was fitting me in between already scheduled jobs and the long weekend. Looks Great & Slides Great!
