Nick and all the team at JWG were fantastic. I spoke with several other companies but really wanted to support a local business instead of going with a big box company, and I'm so glad we chose them. The biggest thing I appreciated was how trustworthy and friendly everyone was throughout the process. From start to finish, they made everything feel incredibly straightforward and stress-free. Nick was always very responsive and happy to answer any questions I had along the way. When our double door arrived, it was missing a hole, which was understandably concerning, but they immediately arranged for Alex to come out and fix it. It wasn't an easy adjustment to line up perfectly, but he did a great job and made sure I was happy before finalizing everything. The end result looks great, and we're very happy with the quality and service. read more

Jason provided us with an in-home visit with a sample replacement window, and explained the various features of interest and options. He helped us arrive at a suitable energy-efficient Simonton models to replace 5 of our windows at a reasonable price. He also measured all the windows to be replaced and promptly provided a written quote. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. The replacement Simonton windows have a better design that obviates the need for such balances, which was of added value to me! The total window order, measured and made to order, was received by JWG within 3 weeks and installed within 1 week. JWG Windows arrived just minutes before the scheduled time for installation. We were fortunate to have a second installation crew (Alex and Ricky) join the first crew (EJ and Cody) during the installation process, which allowed the entire job to be done within 2.5 hours. These two teams operated smoothly together in good spirits, were respectful of our property (using drop cloths in each work area) and cleaned up the work areas. After they were installed, EJ demonstrated the windows' operating features, provided me with the manufacturer's warranty and answered my questions. (The self-latching worked a bit differently than I expected, which actually was an improvement!) The windows look great and are a pleasure to use! Nice work, JWG! read more

Estimator was very helpful with explaining options. My HOA approval was delayed due to change in management and Mason at JWG was patient. He even added a discount that came up while waiting for the HOA. Installers were very efficient, paid attention to detail and even put items moved for installation back in place. Installers Alex, Rome and Javier, were very nice to work with. read more

I was referred to JWG and am very glad they were recommended to me! From the start the sales manager was responsive and the sales rep, Nick, was quick to come out to the property and look at my project. He is very knowledgeable and was extremely communicative with me throughout the process in answering my questions and helping me reach my final decision. Since we purchased new construction windows while doing multiple remodeling projects on the outside of our house, there were some critical details I wanted to review and ensure we had considered while quoting and planning the project. If Nick didn't have an answer, he would find it and we made sure to check everything thoroughly up front. I had a few competitive bids from window companies and ultimately JWG took the cake due to their attention to some critical details, ability to provide extra information as requested in a timely fashion, willingness to work with me on competitive pricing, and excellent customer service. I was also more inclined to support a small local business and was happy to do so. I surprised and impressed with how quickly our order was processed and the new windows arrived. We scheduled the install within a few weeks of placing the order. When the installation team came out, I was throughly impressed with how quick and efficient they were, the level of professionalism, ingenuity in craftsmanship to modify the drywall back, and the teamwork and camaraderie the installers exhibited while working. There is a noticeable difference in heat blocking with the new windows and noise reduction. We are elated with our new windows and the experience we had with JWG. I would highly recommend using this company! read more

We chose JWG after evaluating 3 companies, and now after our windows are in, we are glad we did. We wanted Anlin Catalina with dual fire glaze coatings. We love them. Manager Nick did the measurements, wrote the contracts, and came to the house each day of the installation. He was our single point of contact and listened carefully to all our concerns. Their price was competitive with other companies. We had a big job, and they sent five installers who were prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. EJ was the onsite supervisor and did a great job. My wife spent much of the day home alone with them and she felt comfortable and safe. Overall, replacing windows is a big decision and cost: we wanted a company we could trust. JWG and Nick were proved trustworthy and gave us peace of mind. We would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

The process started with getting a quote from Mason who was punctual, and helpful, and explained everything in way to understand ways and the pieces were unbeatable. Alex and EJ and crew came out on Friday and did an excellent job installing our new windows. They were professional, efficient, and informative. Would definitely recommend the whole team. read more

My sales rep, Nick, was great to work with--responsive, professional, and got my large picture window ordered and installed nearly a month ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, the installation didn't go as smoothly as hoped. The new window arrived with two visible scratches, likely a manufacturing defect rather than an installer issue. Still, I'm left with a brand-new "replacement" window that already needs a warranty claim. Nick is handling the follow-up, but it's disappointing that the product quality slipped through inspection. Even if the damage wasn't caused by the team, it ultimately reflects on the overall experience. read more

Overall great experience! Nick was very helpful in getting the measurements and quotes. Very reasonable price for their quality windows and sliding doors. Alex,Ricky and Cody did a fantastic job in installation. Our unit is a little challenging to access all windows, but they managed to overcome the difficulties and finished the job quick and neat. They also cleaned up everything and even helped my Dad fixed some small problem in the curtain rod. Super high quality work. I will definitely recommend this team for whoever needs windows and doors projects. I will save their contacts and recommend to my friends. read more

Broke the out-ter glass of our double pane sliding door. While doing yard work. We tried to find replacement with Escondido Glass only to find that they closed their business. Got in touch with Jason of JWG and he came promptly to measure the door. We then order the door and he told me when the door will be expected. Sure enough, the door came in the time he estimated ; and Alex and Ricky came to have our new sliding door installed. They were super nice, competent, and meticulous with their work. The place is left cleaner than they found it :-) and the door worked well. Highly recommend local companies like this! read more

I had the company put in 8 picture windows and I am happy with the result. The company provided reassurance and confidence with their lifetime warranty on parts and labor. Nick and the crew were professional, easy to communicate and work with. Nick is exceptional, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to personally removed the tape residue from water proofing tape and painted for me. I think JWG is a great company and you can definitely trust them with your window projects. Fingers crossed, I hope the windows will hold up for many decades :) read more

We recently had all of five windows and an 8-foot sliding patio door replaced by JWG Windows & Doors, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Mason was the estimator who came out to measure everything. He was personable, professional, and very knowledgeable about the products. He helped us choose the Simonton windows that best fit both our needs and the modern style of our home. He always responded quickly to emails and text messages, both before and after we signed the contract, and he patiently answered all of my questions. I never felt pressured, and I felt very comfortable choosing JWG for this project. The windows actually arrived earlier than expected, and Mason called right away to get us scheduled. On installation day, Alex and Tony arrived on time and immediately impressed us. They laid down drop cloths throughout the house and took great care to protect everything while they worked. Their attention to detail really showed. One thing that really stood out happened during the patio door installation. Alex noticed that our home has a modern look and asked if I'd like to eliminate the interior door trim and go with a clean, trimless finish instead. I hadn't even thought about that, but I'm so glad he suggested it. It completely changed the look of the door and fits the style of our home perfectly. Sometimes it's those little ideas that make a big difference. It's refreshing to work with a company where everyone genuinely seems to care about doing quality work. Mason, Alex, and Tony were all fantastic to work with, and they are great assets to JWG Windows & Doors. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for new windows and doors. read more

We've been eagerly awaiting our new windows. On install day I think there were a few small hiccups behind the scenes (an employee had moved on, one installer was sick), but they adapted, communicated well, and did an excellent job on the install. We have two large fur babies and they were very careful and helpful as we shuffled the pups around to keep them secure and out of the way. They even worked around our vacation schedule on the fly for our 2nd install day. At the end of the job I had a nit picky punch list of tiny details and they happily engaged and made little tweaks to make us happy. Props to the whole install crew: Marcos, Antony, Rafa, Rome, & Cody! It's nice to have a local company and crew for this kind of thing. read more

I had 3 windows go bad. I called JWG windows and Doug came out and explained different options that were available. Had a quote in about 2 hours. JWG installed excellent windows at a great price. Nick G is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. He did a great job recommending the right windows and treatments, coordinating the installation and ensuring everything was done correctly on time in one day. Great company to work with. The sales rep Doug was very patient and professional with me even though I changed my mind a few times. The crew Alex and Rickie did a wonderful job. As we did the walk through, the window latch was a bit stiff, Alex just took out his drill and fixed it a couple of minutes, Alex the wiz. The price was higher than other quotes I got, and since a bird crashed through my window, I didn't have time to do as much shopping around. At least the work was done well. The window was tinted a bit, I wasn't expecting it. Guess I am not average and would prefer totally clear glass since the windows are north facing and my old windows had clear glass. I'll get used to it. Thank you. read more

JWG Windows offered a very reasonably priced quote as compared to a few competitors and was a pleasure to work with in terms of scheduling and installation. Can't say enough about how great it was working with JWG. The sales person, Doug met with me and was able to give me a quote the very same day.He provided everything I needed for HOA approval including the cert. of insurance. With a $1000 deposit I ordered 5 windows and a large slider. The door and windows were delivered and installed in 4 weeks. Our installation crew, Alex, Tony and Ricky were very thorough and professional. They hawled away our old windows and left our place spotless. They also took the time to show me how to operate all of the new windows. I will be ordering again for our other rental. Ask about the double life time warranty. read more

I usually wouldn't leave a review for a company who didn't technically do a job for us, but Mason was so helpful I had to leave some feedback. We had the unfortunate luck to deal with a kitchen flood this spring. While doing an unexpected kitchen remodel, I wanted to replace a window which had been broken by what I like to call the great kombucha explosion of 2022. It had broken our garden window, which I loved since we have such a small kitchen. I'd been told by our contractor and friends that the window would not survive the remodel, which included removing a countertop from inside the window. I knew we needed a typical window replacement and my garden window would be lost. I called JWG and Mason called me back to schedule an estimate. We met soon after and this is where the story gets good. Mason suggested another option to help me save the window. He even referred me to another company to help me. Because of his encouragement and suggestions, our beautiful window was saved! He could have walked in and immediately made a sale on replacing my window. Instead, he really listened to my hopes for the space and came up with a solution that exceeded all of my expectations. He wasn't about the sale, he was focused on getting the job done whether his company did it or not. Because of his help, I will use them for any window needs we have going forward. Thanks for being great, Mason! read more

I first contacted Mason at JWG Windows to replace 2 sliding doors and a window in my condo 2 years ago. I also contacted 3 additional reputable companies for quotes. The quote I received from them wasn't the lowest, but was close enough. However, where they stand out is in how they responded. Mason replied to many questions regarding door dimensions, glass surface, sound ratings etc. No other company bothered to reply (I assume the job was too small to warrant the reply). Finally, after 2 years I was ready to purchase the doors and the whole process went smoothly. Alex and Cody were the installers and they finished the job quickly and left everything clean. Mason was there to coordinate the install and manage the last minute issues (one of the crew members got sick and he had to find a replacement) and to reply to questions after the install. read more

Reached out via Yelp for a quote and got a quick response. They came out for a quick assessment and gave us a quote very soon after. The quote was reasonable so we went with them. The windows are custom ordered, so it did take 6 weeks to get them in stock but their team showed up on time, and installed 5 windows in a day. We did unfortunately have an incident were one window was cracked. JWG handles the repair request through the window manufacturer and the manufacturer sent someone back out with a new window about 4 weeks later at no additional charge read more

This is a tough one. Had a great experience with JWG, had them out to look at the windows of a house we were purchasing. Our home inspector noted most of the windows had fogging issues. We wanted an estimate of replacing these windows, so we had Tony out. To our surprise, he said only 2 windows had fogging issues. This was great news at the time. Unfortunately we are now in the house and it is very obvious that many of the windows do in fact have fogging issues. While Tony didn't charge us, it did ultimately cost us significantly. Repairing these windows will likely be over $10k (probably closer to $20k), a cost that would have definitely affected the offer we made on the house. He's very friendly, seems to be generous, but I unfortunately can't recommend him. read more

It is so difficult to decide which window company to select when it's time to replace windows and/or sliding glass doors. We decided upon JWG---based upon its unsullied reputation---and what a marvelous decision it was indeed! JWG replaced our three, 35-year-old sliding glass doors with sparkling new Anlin Malibu sliding glass doors. The value and quality are so far above and beyond our former doors that we are now pondering why we waited so long to move on this project. Quality, excellence, and craftsmanship---all describe the new Anlin patio doors. Interestingly, the entire sales and ordering processes were extraordinarily smooth and professional, and sales manager Mason made the whole experience "dream-like" with his people skills and personal attention to detail. Likewise, the entire crew of installers (led by team leaders Romualdo and Alex) were courteous, competent, and expert as they removed the old doors and installed the new ones. The cost for the entire project was quite reasonable and neck-and-neck with a competitor's bid. Deciding to go with this company has turned to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. Hopefully, after you do your research and vetting, you and other readers of this review will wind up joining us in that same decision! read more

I contacted Jason who is the owner a few months back to come out to the house and give me a quote. Over 20+ years ago, the previous owner of our new home installed vinyl dual-pane windows. Alas, some of them were installed improperly and others on the south side got beaten by the sun, the seals broke and argon gas leaked through which made them very cloudy between the panes. Fortunately, I knew who to call and reached out to Nick again because JWG had done such a fabulous Job on our condo. Since our last window install, the supply chain shortage has happened. Prices were up and it was a longer lead time for install. Rather than replacing ALL the windows, we prioritized the fogged-out slider and failing/cloudy windows and left the remaining 4 that were still in ok shape for perhaps another few years. Luckily our windows came in sooner than expected! Cody and Mario did a great job on the install. The install took a bit longer than expected - because of the underlying prep that had to happen for some of the bad spots. All in all they worked really hard and were here from about 8:30-6:30 p.m. I didn't even see them take a break! Only hiccup was the keyed door handle didn't arrive on the door, but Nick got it taken care of and Mario came back and installed it yesterday. We're really happy to finally see out clear windows in our new home - and Penny loves the new doggie door Nick had suggested! It's in the back corner in the glass - so we can close the slider or leave it open and she still has access to step outside to do her business or to check the perimeter for security detail! read more
