Absoultely horrible experience with Cabana Concepts, so beware! The contractor they recommended for the rough opening was totally incompentent. Then Cabana installed 2 windows and a multi-slide door in our home. Neither window was operational after the install, despite them insisting that they tested operation during the install. Worse yet, one window was installed off center and the order was messed up so that the height of the window did not match the door height. Then when our hardwood installer came to finish the wood flooring against the door track he found significan water intrusion into the sill pan. LaCantina techs visited and wrote a report with their findings which explained that the door track and sill pan were not installed properly. However, Cabana insisted that this water intrusion was normal and that the door had been installed properly. It was not a small amount of water either. After a 5 minute water test on the door, I was able to vacuum 1 quart of water from the sill pan! The images don't lie, wish I could say the same for the Cabana. read more

I stumbled upon this company randomly on the internet. I had contacted others with no response....Drew contacted me immediately and came over the same day. My job was not a big one but was treated very professionally and in a timely manner. The lead time of the doors was 6-8 week but I feel like they came earlier. I ended up using my own contractor to do the header and prep-work (Cabana does the actual installation of the doors). This is a wildly overdue review! I did an extensive remodel on my home in late 2023. Opening up my back wall to install sliding/folding doors was a priority. I interviewed three different companies. Cody provided me with great options - no high-pressure sales or upselling. He was transparent from the beginning of the cost, timeline, and what I would be responsible for (demo and framing). They worked diligently and Ty was very conscientious in making sure not only was the leak at the top of the door solved, but that the door rolled properly on on uneven track. life Changing!! I am so happy with my La Cantina sliding doors. It was a big decision and big commitment especially with finances so we did a lot of research and comparison shopping. From the beginning Drew was available by phone and text and answered our questions and really made sure we were making the right decision. We even went back to the shop multiple times to look at the sample doors. There was a bit of a hiccup on finish work but honestly between Drew and Joe they make it right and the job was completed to perfection. This review is long overdue, but we've been too busy enjoying our no-longer-new La Cantina door. Working with Drew and the entire team at Cabana Concepts was a wonderful experience. Cabana Concepts has a great showroom where you can see and operate various doors and windows. It took about 8 weeks to build our door, but once it was ready, installation was complete within a week. It's been 10 months, and I'm pretty sure we've opened our door every evening that we've been home. I highly recommend getting the retractable screen to keep the bugs out. I had Cabana Concepts come out to perform maintenance on our 11+ year old 4 panel La Cantina doors (that had never been serviced previously). The team did a great job of cleaning, re-lubricating, disassembling/reassembling the locking mechanisms, installing new weather stripping, adjusting the folding doors, and various other tasks. Brandon was super friendly on our calls, and helped advise us on the best bi-fold vinyl door option for what we were looking for. We went with Windor, and have been super happy with it so far. Brandon and his team came all the way up to Los Angeles from San Diego to check measurements before placing the final door order, then came back for the install. And then came back once MORE when we needed to swap the hardware finish out from silver to black. Great install team with good attitudes.
