I found this company strictly from Yelp. The company is not too far from my home and I visited his shop and decided to have Kyle come in for an estimate. He tells you what they are about and what he is offering and the following day he sent me an estimate. I liked who I was dealing with and decided to accept his estimate without getting any other estimates, they were very professional. Day of the installation Ian came in alone because his partner was sick. Let me tell you he is strong and very capable of doing his job. I had 31 windows and I offered to help unload and he would not let me, he was carrying 2 at a time. He is very professional. Second day of work he got help from another installer Brad and he was just as professional and capable. I can't say enough good things about Ian and Brad, you will be in good hands. My windows look great and I have NO regrets in not calling around for different estimates from other companies. This has been the most lack luster and frustrating business I have ever worked with. These are the types of companies that give contractors a bad reputation for sure. They weren't organized, they were late and didn't even show up on the installation date- AFTER they rescheduled it that same week. I have a job and a family and don't have time to constantly wait around and reschedule. I missed out on several family activities with family from out of town because of these guys. The installers are rough guys, bad language and all. Look at my photos and you will see how unprofessional they are. They seemed mad to be here doing their job. They actually went ahead and installed this! Then, after coming back AGAIN to fix this issue, there were scratches on the windows. We are now trying to schedule them to come fix the scratched window and they give a ridiculous two hour window which I have zero faith they will show up in. They are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I wish I went with any other company but The Window Shoppe. I would have paid double to get a smoother, more pleasant experience. read more

Looking at all the reviews for this place, I'm reminded of my thoughts on Yelping home services. Typically people either have a great, 5-Star experience or any issues you have snowball into horror stories that quickly de-evolve into 1-Star rants. Thankfully, I get to share another one of the former. Just bought a 20 year old house, where the windows put in were of the cheapest available at the time. This meant that condensation regularly formed between the panels and the grids were in the middle of dissolving into a rusty powder. Needing both a visual upgrade, as well as adding some heat and UV resistant / energy saving upgrades, we began to shop around. Yelp put us in touch with multiple shops and set us up with a good half dozen salespeople that came by and gave us their pitches. Most estimates ran upwards of $30,000 and included about 2+ weeks of work that included ripping out all of the windows and a good 3"-6" of the surrounding walls. The Window Shoppe came in, offered us the upgrades in UV protection and argon gas filling that we were looking for and wrapped it all up in a nice looking frame, while doing it for less than half of the cost estimates that we were getting from everywhere else. And about 95% of the work was finished in just two days! That's the removals, installs, and clean-up done for two floors in a 3,000 sq ft house. All that was left was waiting for a screen that needed to be made and a spring replaced on one window. They cleaned up and were finished without much disruption passed the time they had scheduled. In one of the new windows I found a tiny air bubble in the glass; a small imperfection that was tough to see if you stood more than 15' away. When I reached out to them to ask about it, I essentially got back a, 'woah, that would drive me nuts! Don't worry, we'll make a replacement and bring it out to you.' Which, honestly, is what any of us are really hoping for in such a situation! It was replaced within a few days, no complaints or issues in getting it done. Honestly, it was an all around great experience and none of my questions, last minute window additions, or paltry complaints were met with any pushback or issue. It was quick, easily done, and finished up much cheaper than any other competitor I got an estimate from. And here I am, six months later, the windows still look great, the insulation has kept the house so cool that even when it's 90+ degrees outside the house rarely gets above 75 (had to use the AC about a 4th of what I used to use it at the same time of the summer last year and I'm expecting this summer to be a LOT easier on the wallet), and I no longer have to look at the rusty grids that made the last set of windows so hideous. The Windows Shoppe did such a fantastic job, for such a reasonable cost, and I'm so happy with the final result that I have no idea how anyone would think about going anywhere else. read more

We shopped around with a handful of other window providers and found Window Shoppe to meet our needs. We got an estimate for the whole house and was blown away with the price compared to others...in a good way. We changed some of our picture windows to single hung and wasn't a problem at all. We even had to do windows in phases because as price friendly as they are, some builders from the 90's saw it fit that we got 43 windows plus 2 sliding doors in our house. Again, I cant recommend this company enough. I keep telling my neighbors to call and get a quote. read more

I replaced all sliding doors and windows. Signed contract 11/2020, paid over 50% of total price. The Window Shoppe was not licensed or insured at that time. The Window Shoppe had changed owners, so new owner was not licensed. It was my mistake that I paid so much before they started. They were suppose to start the first Monday April 2021. I had to call and email them, to get time they were starting. I was told they wouldn't be starting Monday. It took 3 months for them to replace windows and sliders. They dropped new window but had to put in broken window, because they had torn out old window. Windows were installed in wrong rooms. Several windows had to be redone, because they weren't manufactured and/or installed correctly. Screens on sliders don't lock, are wrong size. Damage to my walls and drywall installing windows. I had to pay someone else to repair walls. So many things went wrong with installation. Neighbor contractor was working across the street and noticed one of our new windows they installed was bubbled and crooked. Had someone come to clean windows, several seals are already broken. From start to finish it was a smooth, pleasant experience. Kyle dropped by to do a walkthrough and check out the project, and he gave us a really great quote. We loved the photos we saw of the end product and enjoyed chatting with him, so we decided to roll with his company. The installers (Tyler and Scott) were great- punctual, friendly, and super professional! I didn't know it was possible for caulking to have such a seamless finish. They even noticed a tiny defect in one of the glass panes and scheduled a followup visit to replace it with no additional charge.
