I contacted Steve originally looking for someone to do my house cleaning. He responded right away and was super nice. He was even responding to my yelp messages at 9pm! I definitely didn't expect him to. I decided my windows (which weren't a priority for me) were worth cleaning as they hadn't been cleaned in 8 years! We scheduled a day. Unfortunately I had to cancel that day and he never made me feel bad about it, simply offered up new dates. We got to the day of cleaning. They were prompt to the time they mentioned which I appreciate because I have 3 year old twins and multiple appointments to take of during the day. One of the workers couldn't come to my house, so Steve himself showed up to help his main supervisor (sorry can't remember his name, think it might have been Mike?). "Mike" was super nice and told me he would handle everything. He explained the process to me and was realistic about a time frame. POSITIVE OUTCOME UPDATE: They returned to my home today & washed the areas on our house they missed previously. They also refunded money we paid to have window screens repaired bc they didn't have the materials. I didn't give 5 stars bc had they done things properly the first time, all of this would be moot. I actually would use them again. I would also make sure expectations are clearly understood to reduce communication errors. Steve & his crew work hard & in this case, they worked hard in making sure we were happy. Steve also advised us we have some windows leaking so we will follow up with a window replacement company. I reached out to another company for a deep cleaning! Scott responded as well and more quickly. His service was everything, a deep clean and windows. The windows would have had to been sub out by the other company. That reason and all the good reviews is why I went with Coastal windows. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience as everyone else. I wanted to have a deep clean and windows all done on the 8/20th before a party. Scott said they have to do these separately. 1. "So his guys aren't running into one another" and 2. "They had to see my place before they'd give me a deep clean price." With only 1 person coming to do the windows and taking a really long time, on the outside of my home, it doesn't make any sense now. First, I'd like to make it clear my husband said the guy that came, Adrian for the windows, was great and worked really hard. I believe it was too big of a job for 1 person especially on a hot day. We have over 30 windows and by the time he got inside he was struggling. Which obviously didn't lead to things, like the tracks, being as clean as they could have been. This review is about the set up of the job then the actual outcome. I'm about a week away from the date I need the cleaning by, which was a date I gave to Scott. Which was why I asked for a same day quote. This is why I had to do the windows first, which Scott said we'd do the week before the home deep clean, giving me quote should have been a pretty easy turn around. I even texted Scott day of and reminded him I needed the quote same day as the window cleaning. To clarify, the quote was a condition made by Scott. I wanted to go ahead and book the cleaning. I made it clear I'd be happy to pay more then whatever was quoted if when they got here the place took more time/effort then expected. Scott said I could do that but that wasn't what they typically did. I never got the quote as asked and it leaves me wondering... is this really a all in one company? Or do they also just sub everything out if so I would not have chosen them. At this point it doesn't matter. With being a week away from our party I have to scrabble and hope the original company I wanted to hire has availability next week. I want to stress this review has nothing to do with Adrian he did the best he could. Scott under staffed the job and didn't follow through on his commitment of the quote.
