Still struggling with this one. Originally (just about 1.5 years ago) had an appointment for measuring. A & D never showed up. Life moved forward as the world struggled with diseases and health. Fast forward to today (about a couple weeks ago). I stopped in the office to schedule another appointment from the lackadaisical staff. The installer/measurer showed up and told me that someone would be contacting me with the estimate . . . . . . (those dots are days gone by, and still waiting) for them to contact me with a price for work to be performed. They never contacted me. Some people might say I should contact them again. I say two strikes and you are out. A & D will attempt to downplay their oversight and lack of business ethics with a reply like, "we take our business seriously" and "call us and we will fix it". Nope, I am not going to give them an opportunity. If they cant complete their promised work offsite, then what makes you think they will show up to complete work onsite? A&D just finished our relatively small job, replacing two windows in our garage with tempered glass for a bit more security. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that when they had to re-order glass for one pane in one of the windows, which itself was no big deal, they accidentally forgot to put one frame back into place in the other window. I thought they left it out on purpose! So for a couple days had an open window we just blocked with some random boxes. Anyway, all the panes are in palce now and workers were polite and thorough. The best customer service! I was approached right away and asked if I needed help getting the mirror I needed repaired out of my car and carried. They also informed me there was a scratch on the mirror - I ran around with my kids to get it replaced and when I returned the front desk cut it right away and didn't charge me. WOW! A & D glass is amazing! My husband remodeled my master closet with an awesome design from a designer friend of ours. She added a space for mirrors in an angled area. I called with a broken house window and they were able to come out the next day and did a great job!

I needed a large single-pane window (broken window) and a custom table-top piece of glass cut for a coffee table and called around for a bit. Lowes & Home Depot couldn't help me out and I couldn't get any other glass places to pick up the phone. A&D had both pieces cut within a day and even offered to leave them wrapped outside for me (I couldn't pick them up during their normal hours). I was hoping this company would be great based off all the other reviews, but I'm super disappointed with their customer service. I read a recent review of someone paying $200 for a glass pane being replaced, but I was quoted $400 for a single pane replacement. I asked Kara for a breakdown of the quote, what was the cost of the window and the cost of labor/installation, and was told they don't do that, the price is what it is. She was very defensive when I said the quote seemed high based on the fact that I could buy an entire window from Lowe's for less than $200. She asked me if I thought I could have that window installed for less than $200, which I thought was incredibly rude and condescending. I don't think asking for a breakdown of what exactly I'm paying for is a ridiculous question and makes me feel like they're hiding where my money is going and the actual cost of glass versus labor/ installation. read more

I had a mirror installed in November 2018. It was just what I wanted, but started to show some wear around the edges. I called and spoke with Ethan and he immediately took care of the issue. Within a day or two he fabricated a new mirror. I changed the design of the mirror which was no problem and no charge. My son shot a BB gun bullet through our neighbor's window. We needed to fix it ASAP and after calling multiple places, a and d glass said they could do it in a reasonable amount of time for a reasonable price. They came out and fixed the window. The window cracked unexpectantly, so I called them back to come out and I fix it again. They did! I really appreciate how they stand by their work and helped us out. They could have said the work was done and therefore they are too. But they wanted to make sure their customers are happy and their work is good. I'm so grateful for their diligence and the kindness. I usually don't take the time to write negative reviews but in this case I felt I could save someone from wasting their time. I had an employee come out to our home and take measurements for a quote for new frameless glass shower doors. The employee was friendly and said we would have quote in 2 days. Well, 2 days came and went. I called and was told the sales associate handling our quote was at lunch and would call back. NOOO PHONE CALL. So I called the Golling day, again i was told I would receive a return call. I called AGAIN and now it was 9 days after the measurements. I still have never received a call or an estimate. Please don't waste your time, I asked myself why was I trying to give them my business when they obviously did not care. There are many many great companies in the area and one that gave us excellent service. Spend your money somewhere else. I should have paid more attention to the review that had the same issue. read more

They don't carry picture frame glass, I wish they would have told me that up front, instead, they cut thicker glass and it didn't fit. I didn't know this until I returned home and had to take it back. They did refund it, but then they tell me, oh we don't have glass like that, you need to go to a framing shop. These people are professionals. Thank god, as I really didn't know what to expect when I walked in to this place--barely a storefront on a dusty strip of Vista Way. Yeah, it's right by the 78 freeway, and it's on the way to Boomers, but it still feels desolate over there. I came here to order several glass tabletops for my parents, as theirs were damaged when they moved. I got great customer service, and what's more, the guy who took my order answered a bunch of my questions and didn't treat me like a second class citizen just because it was my first time ordering glass and I knew nothing about it. I don't really know how much glass quality varies, but my parents are very happy with their new glass tabletops. Plus their prices are very reasonable. I was expecting to pay $50 per pane, but ended up getting each pane for less than $30. This was a few months ago, so I don't remember exactly how much it was; I just remember being very pleasantly surprised by the bill. From what I could tell, they do all their work in-house, except maybe the beveling. I'm not sure what else you would go here for--windows, mainly?--but they also do decorative type stuff. They have samples of all the different types of glass and finishes they do, and it's quite extensive. I bet you could get ideas for home improvements, art displays, and commemorative gifts just by walking in here. They seem willing to work with the customer for custom jobs, so just ask. Also, they are a Better Business Bureau accredited business with an A+ rating. So it seems like it is just an all-around great business. read more
