I've never been disappointed with a breakfast here! They have quick friendly service and complimentary coffee if you have to wait to be seated. Pancakes take up the whole plate but are perfectly fluffy, good bang for your buck

    This is "French Toast"

Ordered French toast this morning, this is what I received. The last time I ordered from here I ordered two large OJ's and received only one small. I'm not sure if it's the management or what, but the attention to detail is lacking as of late.

Carafes of water and coffee at all the tables!

I really enjoyed my recent experience at this establishment. The place was packed on Sunday morning, however we were promptly seated after only a 5 minute wait. I didn't mind waiting because they have a self-serve coffee station in the lobby. It's the little details such as this that will have me coming back in the future. Our server was outstanding. You could tell that she was a little overwhelmed by the large parties being seated in her section, but she always checked on us and was super friendly. We ordered the eggs benedict and the banana crunch pancakes. As we waited, a carafe of lemon water and a pot of coffee were delivered to the table. How awesome is that!? There's nothing better than the ability to refill your own coffee. You know that feeling when you get your coffee to the perfect cream-to sugar-to-temperature ratio and the waitress blindsides you with a top-off? Gets me every time! As we pleasantly waited for our meals to arrive, I hear someone ringing a bell. My first thought is that they participate in that annoying "happy birthday" jingle. However the bell, and our food, was approaching our table. My first inclination is that my dining companion is playing a horrible joke on me. This is not the case. We actually earned a free meal because it is being served on a blue plate! I love it!!! I think we've just found our new "go-to" breakfast establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. (Oh, and the food is really good!)

Burnt in the middle, raw ends, obviously microwaved bacon served with a kid's meal.

Service and food gets worse and worse with each visit so today was our last visit. As you can see , in the attached picture , the food quality was poor. A piece of bacon , obviously microwaved, burnt in the middle and raw on the ends. The bacon was served with my child's smiley face pancake. Service was even worse. When we showed our server the bacon she giggled and said "oh". Not even served water , even after we requested it. Not offered any drink refills, and waited more than ten minutes for syrup after being served the kids pancake meal. Nothing like making a child wait even longer to eat!! We ate our last meal there on Saturday morning at 10:30 . We also noticed business seems down as there are many empty tables and booths , but they have people waiting because there are not enough servers or trained servers that can professionally handle more than one table.

Mini classic - more than enough food!!

First visit here on a busy Sunday morning. We were seated right away which was a surprise. Or server, Chantelle, was the best server we've ever experienced. Friendly, fast, always smiling. The food was delicious and portions were generous. The atmosphere is a friendly, family type atmosphere. We will be returning here for sure!!

We have recommended your restaurant to many people, especially praising your salad bar for its freshness, quality, and variety. We've also ordered the AYCE fish fry many times -- including nearly every Friday during Lent last year -- and it has always been crispy, well‑drained, and never greasy. This visit, however, fell far below the standards we have come to expect. From the moment we were seated, the experience was noticeably different. The hostess did not ask for drink orders, which has always been standard. Our server -- slightly heavy‑set with a long black ponytail -- appeared disengaged and gave the clear impression that she did not want to be there. We confirmed with her that the AYCE fish was $12.99 and included all‑you‑can‑eat soup and salad, exactly as we were told earlier in the day when we called. Her response was, "She always tells people that, but it's one trip." Despite the inconsistency, we proceeded and requested the fish extra crispy and well‑drained. We waited at least 30 minutes for the first round of fish, even though only two other tables were occupied and they already had their food. When the fish finally arrived, it was extremely greasy, not crispy, and the bottoms were completely soggy. When we pointed this out, the server simply said, "I told him," offering no apology, no concern, and no attempt to resolve the issue. She took the fish back to have it remade. She returned shortly after and removed our sides without explanation. The second order of fish was still dripping with grease. Grease was visibly pooled in the breading, as if it had come straight from the fryer without being drained at all. We asked another employee if she was the manager. She said no but asked what was wrong. As we began explaining, the manager, Heather, approached. At that same moment, the server stood behind me and said, "Oh, they're not happy with that either." Heather also showed no empathy, no apology, and no effort to correct the situation. Her demeanor was irritated and dismissive from the start. We told Heather to remove the fish from the bill. She agreed but insisted we still had to pay for the soup and salad. She then brought a bill for nearly $30, charging us for AYCE soup and salad even though we each had only one cup of soup and one small salad. When we questioned this, Heather became visibly annoyed and said she would instead charge us for a side salad and a cup of soup. We explained that the fish has never been like this before. Heather's response was, "Then go out to Madison, they have the same fish there." This was unprofessional and completely unnecessary. When we went to pay, we informed Heather that we were veterans. She applied the discount to only one meal. When I told her I was also a veteran, she said, "Oh, you're a veteran too? Well, I need to see ID." This was disrespectful and unnecessary, especially after she acknowledged she recognized us from previous visits. My husband was wearing a veteran jacket, yet she still demanded to see his ID as well. Heather then brought up the fish again, stating it "looked perfectly fine" to her. When I explained the amount of grease on the napkin and on my hands, she dismissed it, saying, "It's deep fried, there's going to be grease," and repeated that it looked fine. As I calmly explained that it had never been served this way before, she told me I was "getting out of control." At no point did I raise my voice -- I was simply explaining the issue. After that comment, I stepped outside while my husband finished paying. He later told me that Heather was speaking about me in front of him to another employee, again calling me "out of control," and told the server she wasn't getting a tip. It is clear that something has changed. The friendly, attentive, welcoming atmosphere that once set your restaurant apart is gone. The staff now appear disengaged, unprofessional, and uninterested in providing quality service. We no longer see any of the kind servers who made dining here enjoyable. We are extremely disappointed by how this visit was handled from start to finish. We hope management takes this feedback seriously. We have supported your restaurant since your grand opening, and we would like to feel confident returning -- but based on this experience, that is not possible unless significant improvements are made.

Easy to find right off Krile Rd. at the rt. 44 exist off rt.90. Giant parking lot with room for everybody. Good sized, bright yellow building is nice and cheery. It was a little odd when we entered and found portable A/C units all around the dining room... I'm guessing they're having a problem with the main system. We were promptly seated and a nice woman (Katrina) greeted us right away to take our beverage order. It didn't take long to realize the honky-tonk music was playing WAY too loud... especially for breakfast. But she returned shortly and took our food order. The menu is extensive with something for everyone. We both chose the Avocado Eggs Benedict with fresh fruit. It showed up quickly and looked great. The fruit was very fresh. The Benedict tasted good but could have been a bit hotter. We did enjoy our meal though. We finished with a good cup of coffee and received a bill for $42. All in all it was a good experience.

Our server was very pleasant took our drink order and got it back to us right away. After the day, I look like it did six years ago, but not old or worn out. I ordered the hash eggs and my wife ordered the eggs Benedict. Breakfast was good and we both enjoyed our meals. A little bit of Frank's hot sauce, always makes things taste better. They only complain is that their coffee is kind of weak but then again I do like a strong cup of coffee. So I might be fine for someone that doesn't like to get dark roast. There was one item on the menu that I'm going to try the next time and that's loaded hashbrowns. All in all look good experience.

Well we drove out to River St. in Grand River in NE Ohio. On a heavily commercial road in an older neighborhood there it was, "Sammy's Family Restaurant". An older building with parking on both sides and around the back. So we parked and went inside. At the front door we were greeted by a sign that said, "Seat yourself at a clean table". As we wandered over to a nice location we noticed small, laminate cards on the tables that read "CLEAN". So we sat, and when the waitress came over she picked up our sign... quaint and efficient. We wandered through an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It had everything you could possibly want. Really, the choices were 5 pages long. So I ordered a kosher dog with kraut and fresh cut fries. My wife had a cheeseburger with fries as well. Both were large, perfectly prepared and the fries were amazing. It was almost more than we could eat. But, we had to try the rice pudding I saw on the menu. We ordered coffee and a rice pudding to share. The pudding was awesome! It was clearly home made. So, as we were preparing to crawl out of the place because we were so full. The waitress brought us the check. I think my eyes almost popped out of my head. It had a grand total of only $25.00. I looked at it twice and showed my wife. We couldn't believe that excellent experience only cost us $25.00. I told the cashier what a wonderful surprise her place was and we would definitely be back. You should definitely go too.

After tasting our food , I ended up asking for the manager. The manager wasn't there, but the person filling in came over to the table. I was very nice because there's no reason to be rude to people. I asked her if she had seen the reviews for the restaurant... she said she had, and that she knew that they were bad. I explained to her that we thought we would give them a chance, but the reviews were spot on and I would be leaving a BAD review also. I showed her that the pancakes were so cold that the butter did not melt and she could see that for herself. And that the eggs and sausage gravy were cold.
