Great place for breakfast! Parked in the back. Quick walk through a little alley. We were told to sit any where. We sat at the window table, There was a table in the middle that looked like regulars. Enjoying coffee and discussions. They usually know the best places to go. We were greeted by Millie a very nice server. I ordered eggs and sausage patties. My husband had a Gouda cheese omelette and my mother in law had the eggs Benedict. We all enjoyed the flavors, service and frequent refills of tasty coffee. This is a cute and quaint little local diner. The menu was extensive, and I want to try their breakfast next time. On this visit, we were all about the burgers. My friend got a hamburger, and it was done to her liking. She devoured it! I got a veggie burger with bacon because I love bacon, and I don't like beef. They have a good veggie burger that tastes like it's made in-house. The fries were super crispy. The service was friendly and very helpful. The prices were very reasonable. Had a wonderful breakfast here. Nice restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff serving up a great meal is a nice combination. The staff came by the table many times checking in on us and offering up more coffee or water and asking if we needed anything. It serves reasonably priced breakfast and lunch options, with daily specials for both dining sessions. They offer a variety of soups and sandwiches, with a salad bar I have yet to explore but have seen. Last time I came here I had the tuna salad lunch sandwich, on a croissant (+$1), with fries and a coke. Their soda machine was having troubles this day but the staff was able to accommodate with serving from a 2L bottle instead. I would recommend. P.s. Excellent lunch today. Had the fish sandwich that came with Mac & cheese as well as cole slaw. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly served with a fresh bun, lettuce, and tomato. My first visit was on a Tuesday around 12:30 p.m. I was greeted by a friendly staff & immediately seated among a dozen other diners. The dining room is small but comfortable & tastefully decorated. There are several tables in the center which may be combined for larger parties. The room was also well-kept. I'm a brunch person so ordered cornbeef hash, 2 eggs, homefries, & toast for 7.50. My meal was quickly served & very good. They also have a separate "specials" menu at the table & I saw on option for AUCE soup for 4.50. My server was friendly & made check-ups. Ordered take out yesterday. I had the tuna melt and hand cut fries. The sandwich also came with soup and I had the chicken noodle. The tuna melt was hot and delicious but the fries were not. The hand cut fries did cost extra. They were soggy and greasy. I definitely had better. My wife had the lamb gyro and hand cut fries as well. Her meal also came with soup and she had the cream of chicken. He gyro was lacking in the meat department. Her fries were also soggy and greasy. My coworkers and I come here for lunch almost every week. The waitresses are extremely helpful and can usually guess that we want to eat the salad bar, and that we only have 30 mins. :) They also remember our drink orders. Went on a frgid Saturday and ordered the FATS eggs benadict and it was delish. I was afraid it was going to be too spicy but the sauce had a nice sweetness to it and just the right amount of spice. Went to the new location this morning for breakfast.. It's much smaller than the one lost in the fire. It's very well put together. Prices were reasonable. The pancakes were a little on the dry side and the grits weren't as hot (temperature wise not spicy) as hoped. Other that a very pleasant experience. read more

Some co-workers and I heard that this establishment has a pretty good menu, so we decided to order for lunch spending a reasonable amount of money. When I went to pick up my orders, I stood at the register for at least 15 minutes, without being greeted or acknowledge period. I was quite offended when 15 minutes after I (an African American female) walked in a (Caucasian female) walked in and was greeted and told she'd serviced in a moment, when I brought it to the waitresses attention that I had been standing there for sometime and was here to pick up my order she walked off and told me she'll grab it in a second.
