This was our first visit to this place. All I can say is GO THERE! I had the best cheeseburger and onion rings and the next time I am craving a cheeseburger, I wouldn't go anywhere else! My friend had the cheesesteak and fries and he liked them both very much. The fries are hand cut and delicious. All of the food came out piping hot, which seldom happens in a restaurant. We picked up for dinner last night and couldn't be more pleased with the food and service. I walked it, hostess was helping anther patron and someone else came over quickly helped me. The bar looks awesome, very large open area, can't wait to go back to hang out and have a few drinks. The food was unreal! My son got wings that were crispy and full of flavor, I got French onion soup and a quesadilla, which were really good. My wife got chicken marsala, which she gets quite often at other places, and she said it is the best she has ever had! This place is a local gem that if you haven't been to, you need to go. I visited this restaurant on a Friday night with a friend and we got to sit on their awesome patio to have dinner and get drinks. The drinks were very well priced and had something for everyone. One thing I noticed about the cocktails had one of those big ice cubes which was a nice touch. For our dinner I ordered the barrel house 9 burger that was topped with sautéed onions, mushrooms and bacon which was very good and the meat was good quality. The burger was served with crispy French fries which were fantastic and nicely done. My friend ordered the wings in the hot flavor and I got to try one which was very tasty. Event: Anniversary Lunch After looking at the great reviews for this restaurant, I decided to check it out for myself. I talked to the owner Rob and explained to him that we would like a reservation for about 20 people for a surprise anniversary lunch. Since this restaurant has only been open for a few months , I wanted to make sure that having six or more tables coming in at once would not overwhelm the kitchen. But he and the hostess, named Sam assured me that it was no problem! I am very happy to report that they did a Fabulous job!!!! Everyone loved the food and they all commented on how fabulous Sam was in taking care of them! She kept up with all the tables, making sure everyone had drinks and anything else that they needed. She is a rockstar! I had explained to Rob that the group needed to leave at a certain time and he and the kitchen staff made sure that the food came out on time and it was delicious! So we want to give a big shout out to Rob and Sam and the entire kitchen crew for doing such a great job! I visited Barrel House 9 last week & I was very impressed as were my 4 guests. I ordered the vegetarian burger & I was very excited that a local restaurant had a house made vegetarian burger & it did not disappoint! Most restaurants do not offer house made vegetarian burgers; it's usually a black bean burger or an Impossible Burger. Theirs is very tasty & different, served with fries which came out hot & perfect. All of our dinners came out together, we all got sandwiches or burgers with fries and they were all great & hot! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was attentive & pleasant. I would only recommend that the restaurant get a better sign out front so more people can find them! read more

this was my third time at the barrel house 9. Once again, one of the best meals I've ever had. I decided to change up and had the patty melt and have to say that this was by far the very best Patty melt I've ever eaten. The hamburger meat was phenomenal dish delicious on its own, but the multiple toppings and cheese just made it over the top. My friend had grandma's meatball sub and I've never seen a bigger sub. She said it was the best meatball sandwich she's ever eaten as well. Tasty perfectly done and then served with fries so half of the meal went home with her. I've also had the hamburger with the bacon jam and thought that was my favorite until I ate the patty melt. This man does not cook. He is a chef. He is a master. Everything is fresh. Nothing ever frozen. You can taste the difference. One of the best things at barrel house night is the sweet waitress Sam. she takes so much pride and describing to you the food how it is cooked how it is prepared etc., that you would think she was the owner. Sweetheart of a girl. Definitely get there. Definitely go and have a great meal. Next time I think I might try the pizza or the Italian sub or better yet one of their dinner masterpieces read more

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is clean and open giving the vibe that it's a place where you feel at home. The wait staff was very attentive and quick to serve. My friend and I were in for a late lunch so it wasn't too busy so I expected service to be quick and I wasn't disappointed. We ordered burgers and I had a side of onion rings while my friend had a side of broccoli. The bacon onion jam burger was cooked to perfection and the onion rings were some of the best I have ever had (I typically order onion rings instead of fries). The burger was juicy and flavorful! My friend ordered the veggie burger and let me tell you it was excellent (I tried a quarter of it). I'm not usually a fan of veggie burgers bc they're always the same, made with black beans, tasteless and flat as a hockey puck, but this veggie burger was delightfully fresh and flavorful. Always like to try places, at least 3 times before reviewing. Barrel House 9 has been spot-on all three times. The food has been excellent. I tried a weekend special, Grilled salmon with risotto and brussel sprouts. It was fantastic. I have had wings all 3 times, they are fresh, never frozen. Service has been great, too. We went for the Ohio state Texas game and even though there was a lot of people the food came out fast and was amazing

We tried to go last night. There were 11 open tables only 7 tables sat including the 1 outside and a full bar so many workers but was told it would be a 20 min wait. We were so confused due to seeing all these workers and so many empty tables on a Saturday night. We understand they just open and things take time to get situated but if you can't handle having people come in/ to go maybe that was the issue to busy in kitchen then I would recommend a soft open. Our parents tried Friday and same thing with them. Their food they got to go was cold and gross. I work in the restaurant business so I was really disappointed. read more
