The chicken Parmesan was one of their specials and it came with soup and a salad. The portion was huge and that chicken was the most tender juicy chicken, I think I've ever had. Salad was fresh soup was tasty. A complete win. My husband ordered the 50s burger and he was delighted. Another big portion with perfectly cooked hamburger and a heap of hot crispy french fries. The service was very good. It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday night at 7 o'clock, which speaks to the fact that it's really a well loved establishment. I want to mention it was also very clean, including the restrooms. For all the food we were served and the excellent quality, I give it the highest ratings.

We wanted to take photos from our room to the outside since the lake was the view we were paying for, but the windows/screens were so dirty that we couldn't even take a clear photo. When we opened the window to get some fresh air inside, the window sill was disgusting. We felt that with the lake view being what would make this room desirable, the windows should be clean at the very least. After we settled in we had drinks on the patio. The setting was lovely and we enjoyed the cocktails. We had checked a couple sources online regarding the in-house restaurant and it looked higher end to us. We felt that this would be a good choice for our anniversary celebration. We had 7:15 dinner reservations and we were seated right away. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and it was very good, however, our forks were removed with our appetizer plates. Next, we had soup which was good but cold. After we barely started our soup, our entree was delivered. We still had no forks and it took a while before we could get the attention of our server, but we were able to flag down a different server who brought us forks. My husband had the burger and it was average. I ordered the BLT spaghetti and it was probably the worst meal I have ever been served. It was cold, probably because of the wait for our silverware, the sauce was watery and the pasta was awful. I'm not sure what the chef did to the pancetta, but it was like no pancetta I have ever experienced. It is so embarrassing to complain about a meal and send it back, and we just never do that. But this was so bad that I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Once my husband was almost done with his meal, our server noticed that I did not eat mine. We politely told her the issues and she kindly offered to bring me a replacement meal. But honestly, at that point my husband was just about done eating so it really didn't make sense. We were credited for the meal on our check. We had read via text that if we needed ice or wanted to inquire about a late check out, that we could call or text. There was no phone in our room and we did text, a couple times, and never got a response. So no ice, no late check out. We brought our phone chargers and plugged them in before bed so we would have a full charge by the morning. Apparently the plug next to the bed was dead. We moved the charger to the plug near the TV, which was also dead. So our phones did not get charged fully before we checked out. The TV volume was not operable, we assumed it was intentional to keep the volume low between rooms. But with the window open we could not hear the TV at all. Since check out was at 11:00 am and breakfast was only served until 10:30, we didn't make it up and out in time to be able to take advantage of that. We didn't really want to set our alarm in the morning on our anniversary celebration. We had looked forward to sleeping in a bit. Upon booking our room, at check in and also as we were seated for dinner we were asked if we were celebrating something special. We let each know that we were celebrating our anniversary. Odd that we didn't even receive a "Happy Anniversary" note in our room. We travel often and feel that this was not the experience that we should have received for the price and location. All this being said, we did respond to the feedback request from Vincent Michael Wine and they responded to us immediately. Basically they acknowledged our concerns and will share them with the staff. We hope that others will have a better experience than we did! This may be a nice place to stop in for wine tasting in a beautiful setting but we would never spend the $500+ per night for the overnight stay.

Very cozy little restaurant located in a small strip plaza. Great wait staff. The coffee was outstanding and the food did not disappoint. My wife had biscuits and gravy with crispy potatoes and bacon. I had the goetta with eggs and rye toast. When they say crispy potatoes, they mean crispy. And the goetta was both plentiful and flavorful. We will be back very very soon.

I also asked for a lemon wedge, not a slice, since you can't squeeze a slice. Next came our espresso martinis, one for each of us. We actually felt the bang for our buck -- strong, well-balanced, and worth every penny. For our appetizer, we shared the gluten-free BBT meatballs. It was delightful. Then our Cobb salads arrived, each with shrimp added. We requested a side of extra-virgin olive oil -- not a blend -- and the kitchen got it right. For dessert, we shared the cheesecake, minus the graham cracker crust because my friend is gluten-free. I would have preferred the kitchen plate it for sharing and provide dessert silverware with it, instead of us having to flag someone down. I'm also industrial seed oil free, and Hailey was attentive to both of our dietary needs throughout. The manager, Chris Nichols, stopped by to check in and ensure we were satisfied -- a clear sign the restaurant is customer centric. I actually thought Chris was the GM. We were promptly seated and a nice woman (Katrina) greeted us right away to take our beverage order.
