Excellent food! The apple pancake is very similar to apple panacuchan. Lorenzo was an amazing server....fast, accurate and friendly. The restaurant is clean and new.

Fast service, clean environment, and the food taste great. our server is very friendly.

The food here was SO good! We got the Dutch Baby Pancakes, Belgian Waffle and French Toast, along with sides of bacon, eggs and home fries. Everything was phenomenal. Erica was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive. Loved the booths, too, as they're spacious and allowed us to have our space a bit! We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

Apparently cinnamon roll pancakes are always on deck, thank goodness. They remind me of being at my grandparents annual anniversary gathering, at the Crescent Beach Hotel, a memorable brunch to be sure. It coincided with Easter so there was always a terrifying bunny afoot. They had this similar tasting pastry that I looked forward to with a Christmas Eve-type fervor. Soothing to find that flavor again, memories of always over eating and never regretting it. A real down-home, 'forty years at Swagelok' kind of place, families knowing families. I'm not from Ohio but Kleifeld's made me feel like I was in all the best ways. I brought my own maple syrup, no offense, just a breakfast requirement of mine. You will leave this place with a box or leave overfed, stuffed with twinkles in your eyes. The jukeboxes on the counter aren't functional, but we all already knew this. It's the sentiment. This time, my third time eating here, working on this review. Should I get pancakes again? The tantalizing basted egg? It's your birthday breakfast, a Monday, I'm on vacation, a wedding in NYC this weekend. My very close aunt died this morning, but I will not tell you until later, in bed, the safety of comfort. Just like this diner, the safety of the cinnamon roll pancake shared amongst friends and quintessential diner coffee. No TV's, no music, no distractions from love and sustenance. You touch my leg, I want to break down and weep about losing Deb, but I refuse to jar your special day. Our breakfast needn't a reminder that this is all our fate, succumbing to disease and old age before we finish the things we started. Take care to enjoy every bite.

That fried chicken took us all the way back. We're old school, and that's exactly how fried chicken is supposed to taste--perfectly seasoned, incredibly flavorful, juicy on the inside, and fried to a golden, crispy crunch. It was absolutely phenomenal. The waffles were just as impressive--light, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with an amazing texture. Every bite was on point. The experience was so good that I knew I had to bring my husband back because he's a huge chicken and waffles fan. It was his first time there, and without fail, he had the exact same reaction. From the first bite, he was sold. He absolutely loved it. When a restaurant delivers that kind of quality to an entire group and then exceeds expectations again on a return visit, you know it's the real deal. From the food to the service, it was an easy 5-star experience. We'll definitely be back!

Well we drove out to River St. in Grand River in NE Ohio. On a heavily commercial road in an older neighborhood there it was, "Sammy's Family Restaurant". An older building with parking on both sides and around the back. So we parked and went inside. At the front door we were greeted by a sign that said, "Seat yourself at a clean table". As we wandered over to a nice location we noticed small, laminate cards on the tables that read "CLEAN". So we sat, and when the waitress came over she picked up our sign... quaint and efficient. We wandered through an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. It had everything you could possibly want. Really, the choices were 5 pages long. So I ordered a kosher dog with kraut and fresh cut fries. My wife had a cheeseburger with fries as well. Both were large, perfectly prepared and the fries were amazing. It was almost more than we could eat. But, we had to try the rice pudding I saw on the menu. We ordered coffee and a rice pudding to share. The pudding was awesome! It was clearly home made. So, as we were preparing to crawl out of the place because we were so full. The waitress brought us the check. I think my eyes almost popped out of my head. It had a grand total of only $25.00. I looked at it twice and showed my wife. We couldn't believe that excellent experience only cost us $25.00. I told the cashier what a wonderful surprise her place was and we would definitely be back. You should definitely go too.

I was amazed at how many people had the turkey dinners as we walked bake to our table. I haven't been to a Bob Evans in so long and it hasn't changed. Still very homey looking. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. She brought us waters and refills of iced tea regularly. I had the smaller portion turkey meal which was perfect. The regular turkey dinner comes with a vegetable. That is the only difference, except smaller portion. The stuffing was too salty and the meal was wam, not hot. My husband's was the same. The turkey potatoes and gravy were tasty. The biscuit was light and fluffy. I gave 4 stars as it was a good value. Otherwise, it would've got 3. It would be a strong four with less salt and served hot not luke warm. Good place for home style meal.
