Last night I ordered a blackened salmon Caesar salad but said the romaine had been very watery on my previous order and could they please avoid that on this order? The chef was notified at once. But this time the water content was even worse! Soggy lettuce, soggy croutons. I consumed the salad holding the box at a downward angle so the fluid would pool in one corner. Food truck review. Our clam strips were dark, crunchy, and overcooked causing the clam meat to be dry and chewy. The fries were "WAY" undercooked. Very soft, very mushy and very limp. No color. The clam chowder was very salty. Sorry, but my wife and I were disappointed in the meal. Awesome tarter sauce ! Were you leaving our strips down while trying to hurry and cook the fries ? Timing off ? Edit: Not trying to be mean but I just ordered a patty melt and fries at the Getaway Tavern in Mountlake Terrace and they have the same fries. Tried the lobster tacos on Saturday. 2 tacos were about $25. They were delicious! I don't usually like mango salsa but it worked. Not cheap but when you consider what McDonald's costs now....I was satiated on 2 tacos. They have side dishes if you are a hearty eater. I would definitely do again. read more

Third stop at this food truck. Hands down the best fish tacos I've have in the pnw. Two full tacos per order. Not wimpy/skimpy ones. $13.95 per order. My little girl loves the order of fries. We can walk, grab this and be home enjoying then, while still fresh. They can get very busy. Definitely try the fish tacos. I just tried this food truck and it was very good. I got the fish tacos which came with two nice size filets, coleslaw lettuce below, salsa, and a perfect amount of cilantro on top. For those who don't like cilantro it's easy to remove but I am a fan and liked the fact that there was enough to have some in each bite. There was also a reddish sauce which I think was a chipotle to add the kick. The total cost was a little over 14 bucks (before tip). I had a coworker that got the salmon ceasar salad and said it was amazing and would be back again. Although I really enjoyed my meal I'm on a tighter budget when it comes to lunch so this would be a splurge to me, but I do recommend trying it for sure! read more

Let me start out by saying the food was great. I had chowder and the fish tacos and they were both delicious. However I got food here when they came to my work. Online ordering didn't go well. My food was supposed to be done at 7:00 and wasn't done until 7:15 this ate up half of my lunch break and I ended up having about 5-10 minutes to eat. Scotty's is the BEST! If I could give them a 100 stars I would. I tried the salmon tacos for the first time and they are AMAZING. All of their food is outstanding. I have eaten alot of fish tacos from many various restaurants because it is one my favorite things to order but let me tell you that none of them even come close to what Scotty's have and this is for both the regular fish and the salmon fish tacos. Then the blackened salmon is EXCELLENT as well and I buy that at least a couple of times a month. Nothing comes close to the salmon either. Another item that I order regularly if we go out and we eat out frequently but I always say "Scotty's is hands down the best!". I highly recommend coming here. You won't be disappointed! Scotty's Food Truck. Their truck was located at the Annual Issaquah Salmon Days. My family and myself were there this past weekend on October 5, 2019. At approx 4:30 p.m. my daughter and wife were hungry and chose Scotty's because we have always loved their blackened Salmon over caesar salad at any of the other festivals around the area. Complaint: They arrived in line with only one couple ahead of them. The two ladies working the counter took the couples order, gave them their food and then we were next. When clear my wife and daughter stepped up to the counter and my wife (NOT THEM) greeted them with, "Hi, how are you?" But it was if my wife and daughter were INVISIBLE. No recognition at all...it was SUPER weird. Those two counterworkers...after finishing with the couple in front of them JUST TURNED FACE TO FACE and started talking to each other as if no customer(s) were waiting in front of them. My wife gave them an awkward 10-15 seconds but they kept ignoring her...that is what you call BAD customer service. I would hope it was a result of some prejudice.
