My car was broken into and I needed a replacement passenger front window ASAP. I called numerous…read moreplaces for same day service quotes, and Auto Glass Discounters was by far the best price for the service. They were incredibly responsive when I called, and answered all of my questions. I paid $238.25 for the mobile service, which included glass clean up, the replacement window, labor, and taxes. The technician came out to my apartment later the same day, was very communicative and the install took less than an hour! After installation, he went through everything he did, what I could expect (i.e. hearing glass in the door is normal, keep an eye out for glass coming out of the drain at the bottom of the door), and told me I can call to get a full itemized list of everything I was charged for. After a fairly upsetting day dealing with my car being broken into, contacting Auto Glass Discounters was the easiest part of my day and quickly eased my stress about getting a replacement installed. Hopefully I will not need auto window replacement service again anytime soon, but if I ever do I'll definitely be calling them again!

Do NOT use this company. Awful work and now they won't call us back. I'm sure this review will get…read moredeleted and if it does, I will be sure to repost everyday to warn the next customer. They sent a tech who had no idea what he was doing and tried to put the window in the wrong way. He completely damaged our new truck. The next day, they sent another tech to fix the other guy's mess. After making me miss 2 days of work to be home for this to get taken care of, they wanted me to pay full price because they "had to send 2 techs" to our home. The "manager," Jeff, literally insulted, threatened, and argued with us about giving a discount for what we had to go through and after knowing our vehicle was damaged. We sent multiple pictures to Jeff, proving the damage, as well as his tech on camera causing the damage. However, they refuse to call us back. Now we have hundreds of dollars coming out of our pockets to fix this company's disaster of a window replacement. Unbelievable. Answering to your comment, Gary: This shows the complete ignorance and disrespect you have for your customers. Here you are arguing with me over something that was 100% your company's fault. After day 1, we were told any damage to the vehicle would be fixed at the company's expense. Nothing was fixed On day 2. The "let's make a deal price" was agreed upon between Jeff and my Fiancé with him stating the full warranty would be honored with the receipt from your company, yet no one will take our calls or have enough respect to call us back to resolve the damage caused by your technician. The door now rattles with glass at the bottom, which was a careless job. Stop making excuses. Fix the problem, you know it's there.

The window company associated with our insurance does not have any availability to do a replacement until the week after, and we really needed to get back home. A local auto repair shop recommended Mels. The crew from the front desk to their kind installer was able to install a new windshield the next day, without any delays. They also helped with removing some of the shards from the broken window. Their service charges are reasonable given the emergent need for a replacement . Thank you again for helping us out.

At home service is so convenient! She got me scheduled for the next week, my choice of day, but I got the impression I could have done it even sooner. Chris came out, & did the repair. He was personable, explained the process, & made me feel confident he was the man for the job (he was!). It took him about an hour, then he was on his way, allowing space for the tech to calibrate the windshield. Rob was the one to perform the calibration. I really appreciate that he went above, & beyond to take my car to the shop to calibrate there versus on site, which had sub-par conditions (not Mel's fault at all, of course). Thanks for making this as painless as possible!

Within 25 minutes they had all the glass cleaned up and the new windows put in. They even cleaned my driver's windows. I couldn't have asked for better quality or more professional service. Highly recommend these guys.

When he tried to take the key out of the ignition, he brute forced the key out of the ignition instead of pushing in the key (as you are supposed to do) and rotating the key until it stops and then taking the key out. What I mean is...when you want to take the key out of a 2003 Honda Accord you rotate the key until it stops, then you push the key inward and rotate again until the key stops. Then you can safely pull out the key. This guy rotated the key until it stopped and did not push in the key and rotate the key. He tried to brute force the key out of the ignition and when he did, he pulled the FOB right off of the key. He tried to blame me for this and said this would have happened if I was to pull the key out. It cost me over $200 to get a new key made!!! DO NOT EVER CALL THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING!!! I should have sued him (I guess I still can), but he will be the kind of guy who would not pay when he looses in court. Oh, and by the way, he is not located in Fairfield, anymore. He has no office. He works out of his truck!! Not only that, but the window he replaced goes up and down very slowly, now. Nothing like how it worked before he replaced it.
